This app and accompanying bracelet are utterly useless for a number of reasons. 1) Pairing the bracelet is unpredictable and it will randomly unpair. 2) The app won't work unless the screen is unlocked. 3) It's random whether or not the app will actually call or send the messages 4) Fall detection doesn't work. This was supposed to grant peace of mind to my family by notifying them when I was having/have had a seizure. It added stress instead. Don't waste your time or money.
Avoid! It will loose contact w the phone even though it's on the opposite side of your lap. App says battery is 90% full. Constantly drops connx w phone despite being less than 10 ft away. Phone has been spontaneously turning volume to silent since I installed the app. Galaxy s8, verified newest software installed. Regret buying.
Disappointed. The app froze continually at the alert message screen. Support said get a new battery-I returned for replacement but now same issue except the app is sometimes freezing at the contact input screen. I must return and find a new product.
the app won't let you add more than 1 contact I've lost count of the amount of times I've uninstalled it and reinstalled it when you try and another contact it closes the app the alarm sounds when it wants to even if your sat in a chair it alarms and says fall detected not happy I've emailed them and they keep telling me to do what I've already done
This is a completely useless device , it only works with actual app open. So basically say if you are being kidnapped and press the button the alert will not be sent till you open the app on the phone. Makes zero sense!
Well, last review is correct. When app is not on the main screen the button will not notify the app, therefore no text message or phone calls. So the wearer must have the app on main screen to work. This is a not going to work.
App must be running and have focus on screen. Effort it will call. Worthless. If you are making a phone call, texting, reading mail button will not make emergency call if needed. YOU HAVE TO STOP WHAT YOU ARE DOING, CLICK ON APP TO BRING IT. I TO SCREEN BEFORE YOU PUSH BUTTON. Worthless apk
Advance settings is unable. Program reports V.ALRT has stop. My emergency contacts receives an unfamiliar phone number instead of my number. I will change my rating when I figure this software out. Also, to many false alarms.
I have tried 3. It worked well for a while, but stopped connecting to my smartphone on 08/01. Two new replacements will not connect either. Suspect V.Alert are not updating their app.
NO customer service/support. Easy to down load app, impossible to connect app to device. Even went to T-mobile store to set up but they couldn't get it to sync either.
App not sending anything and keeps crashing. Not stable enough for a real security device. Probably worth spending a little extra for something more robust.
App crashes, send false alerts, constant notifications with sounds on the phone. This is a complete disaster and does not work at all.
I received this item July 11,2020 and I tried to get it to work on three phones apple and galaxy phones an I still could not get this device to work properly it will not sent any text messages. I guess it was to good to be true.
App has to be active in front of other apps otherwise will not send alerts. This could be due to an Android update, but the App cannot be used as it is.
Worked perfect until about a month ago. Thought it was the button. So got a new one. Still won't call until you open the app on the phone.
App crashes upon launch. Doesn't open. Useless app in need of a complete rewrite. Will be contacting company for full refund of products purchased.
Only works with phone unlocked and app open, even though app is running in background. Nice concept but totally useless.
Data harvesting? The app sends text message from some unknown number instead of the phone itself. Never made the call as it stated.
worked great on my LG G6 with Android 8.0 - just upgraded to LG G8 on Android 10 and now I can't get the keyboard to pop up to enter the alert message during setup. I'll try to do a backup on the G6 & restore to the G8.
App only worked if in foreground. Also, it does not use the user's phone number for texting and calling.
Cant get it function as advertise as it should. I tried to send my contacts a test alert and it didn't go through.
Won't stay connected, only works if app is running, running in background won't activate
I couldn't type in an alert message and so I couldn't proceed with the install. Waste of money. I'm sending it back.
Cannot enter an Alert Message, thus, cannot complete the device setup on a Moto g7 Optimo Maxx phone.

When button is connected to the phone and is pressed for 2 seconds it will send a text message to all added contacts. But then it will ONLY CALL the first added contact. No matter what we have tried it will not call the second contact. If the first contact does not answer, it will not call the second contact. Would really like to see this fixed. For now the text messaging feature is all that can be relied on.
