V-Guard Smart

Verano water heater is a first-of
- its-kind product. A lot of research has gone into developing the product. Available in 25 Ltrs and 15 Ltrs variants, this new model can be controlled by a smartphone (from anywhere in the world) and also controlled with an infrared (IR) remote. The Verano water heater is controlled with a simple app that needs to be downloaded on your smartphone. Your smartphone needs to be equipped with a WiFi. Consumers can establish their own schedule for turning the water heater on and off as per their own convenience using this app. On a chilly monsoon evening just as they are approaching home they can just switch on the geyser and keep the hot water ready so that the moment they reach home a steaming hot water bath awaits them. What’s more if in the busy life you have forgotten to switch off your geyser you can do so without a worry. From anywhere in the world wherever you are the geyser can be switched off or on.
It is also equipped with an Automatic Failure notification sending mechanism in case of any failure of water heater components to the customer through the App. Complaints can be registered through the App by a single click which will notify our customer service centre who will attend the problem immediately

The Intelligent Scheduler in the water heater works automatically as per set requirement while the Temperature Alert sends notification to your connected smartphone on reaching the set temperature.

Staying true to its smart water heater tag, it sends Energy consumption notifications to the customer apart from alerting the customer if the water heater is running dry and cuts off power supply immediately.

Thanks V-guard 1200s is really a smart dups . But I'm facing some issues 1. Battery % not showing correctly. It's discharging from 97% instead of 100% . 2. "Day time load usage" enabling automatically after disable this option. 3. Want to charge battery only from solar. But there is no Grid charge disable option . 4. Also app disconnecting frequently.

The loss in charging battery by mains is high. There is no option to disable mains charging (Smart pro 1200s) Reply: In normal mode, it charges from mains if solar is not available which is expected. But In max power saving, it disconnects mains forcefully for a long time and then in evening uses mains to charge battery. A option to disable mains charging permanently inside app will be very useful to many people. (90 percent battery is not "really weak", its almost full)

Update : There was an issue with the board that caused some minor glitches and confusion. A VGuard service person replaced it with new one yesterday and everything works fine now. Service support was quick and excellent. Service technician was gentle and experienced.

The app has stopped abruptly. Also it hasn't functioned with remote ever since installation. Please send your service person ASAP Edit 1: As desired by you checked range, SSID and pwd. No effect. When can you set it right?

The app has become useless after recent update, It cannot connect to inverter using wifi or bluetooth. It asks for registration and when trying to register, it shows error that product is already registered. Edit 1- Uninstall and reinstall the app and login with previous id really worked. I'm able to see my inverter in DUPS and everything is working as expected. Updating the rating to what it actually deserves.

It's a good app but it shows wrong battery percentage always( for v gaurd dups/inverters) ...they should change the battery percentage algorithm or atleast show the current battery voltage ,,so we can atleast guess the remaining backup...

Vguard smart app is unable to connect to the inverter by WiFi or Bluetooth. I understand that there is an issue with the App. Please rectify and update the App ASAP.

Overall good. I would like to suggest few things. 1. There should be "This Month" unit stats option along with today, yesterday and all time. 2. Bluetooth connection disconnecting if you minimizes app. So, it should be fixed. 3. There should be a meter showing power output in Amp for DUPS output load. (Currently its showing only in percentage). 4. You should provide step by step process for enable of Amazon Alexa Voice assistant. Hope you should consider these points.

Very poor app , even 250 rs Chinese watches having better Bluetooth connectivity , Every time Bluetooth ends reconfigure requires and hence manually switching on the UPS , what is the point of buying smart UPS ???

Battery type selection problem. I'm using smart 1100 inverter & VT 165 Tall tubular battery. In the app under switch settings the battery selection is automaticaly changed to flat plate type, but in the physical product it was in tubular selection & also in product registration details it was tubular.

Very bad experience with VGuard products. In their website they claim to have 2 years warranty. But when any issue happen they say actual warranty is 1 year!! Such a fraud organization. Even their customer care is useless. They refer to local service center who just asks for money for servicing a product within warranty. Pathetic brand!!

The app never shows the correct battery percentage. Shows 100% charged and when the current goes it goes down to 9%. I've been using the inverter, battery and app for a year and from day one I've been having the issues. Multiple times the technician comes and no solution was given. 1 year later multiple updates later no solutions. Bought a V Guard smart 1500 and a Vguard VT 250 hoping seamless experience. Instead it has been dreadful

FEB 5TH 2022 The update on Feb 3 2022 seems to have resolved my USER MANUAL problem of not opening. Thanks VGUARD for prompt response EARLIER For sometime now I am unable to open the USER MANUAL available in this app for my product Smart Pro 1200S stating unable to find app for this PDF file though earlier it was opening fine with the installed PDF apps in my device. Maybe some app update is affecting this function. Pl check and resolve . Thanks.

This gives lot of nice information. Nicely thought and arranged UIs. When you provide such good information, definitely the need will be more, and I would like a few too. 1. It gets disconnected frequently, my modem is in the same room and has got good connectivity. 2. It can remember the last connection wifi/bluetooth. I am really disappointed. I am using smart 2300 inverter with 2 batteries (vguard vt160). It is not shows the actual battery backup. Need to reconfigure manually every time for see that correct backup. Also one more major issues. I always enabled the UPS mode to avoid the change over time, even if any voltage variations occurs. But if enable this mode and mains off accidently, sometimes inverter turn off by shows overload warning. Then I should go to the inverter room to manually turn on it.

Using this with V-Guard Smart Pro 1200S inverter. App provides all the important informations and settings which is really helpful. Wifi & Bluetooth works without any issues. Suggestions: 1. Showing total load used in watts along with percentage in status page 2. Show exact output voltage DUPS provides when adjusting the performance/backup slider. 3. Also there is a bug in Usage Trends. Every day the power cut count start with 1 eventhough there are no power cut occurred.
