Works well enough when you find out how to use it. Well worth looking at the FAQ in the app to find the more advanced functions and how to use them. I would like a way of giving each device a friendly name, A65 15W IIC RGB+WW+CW is something of a mouthful to ask Alexa, and not easy to commit to memory. Also, as every light of the same type has the same sequence of characters, with just the addition of a serial number it can be hard to remember which lamp is in which room. As a work around to this, you can put each device into a group of one, and give the group a simple name. Speaking of groups creating groups from the edit page for individual items isn't exactly intuitive. I'd like better integration with Alexa as well. Other smart switches I have, can be turned on or off simply by asking Alexa, "Turn *name* on/off". No need to create a routine in the Alexa app. However routines work well enough, and the command phrase can be chosen to be easy to remember.
I have used many similar apps but this has some of the most confusing options and function like hold to use control manager um touch screens are not good for a hold click. It's detection of devices are well flawed not once did it mention turn off mobile data. The user interface once setup is like any other once it's done.
The app is not perfect, by any means. There are some things that need improvement. However, I see many users complaining about lost connection while using the physical switch on lamps. You are doing it wrong. You are supposed to leave the physical switch on, all the time. Connecting devices could be a little easier, instructions are a little bit unclear.
I have 6 smart lamps, I see that the 3 of them which I use more often manualy (turning on /off the switch) disconnect very often. They loose the wifi credentials and I have to run tne connection routine again and again. When the switch is on there is no problem.
Nice app, however user interface is too complicated. There should be options for advanced and beginners users. Difficult to integrate with a Google home but after some trials and errors I managed to get it working together
So far, Neutral. Keen to try.. Hopefully a lot better than the poorly designed, frustratingly unintuitive Le Pro UX lighting app and products.
Good light but has very very few settings Edit: there's an option where you can connect two devices with eachother so that they sync but it doesn't work at all.
Unable to reset the password, the interface was unresponsive. Completely useless.
Can't connect to servers for a day. Pathetic. A whole house equipped with V-TAC lights has become completely unusable. Should have used the Phillips lights and never again use anything from V-TAC.
Not easy to use. Manual is woefully inadequate. Cant get 2 lights to work on the one circuit.
SCAM! , it requires a login to use and then they never send you the activation email. These are useless, they are probably not even smart lights to begin with and just a scam
Not everything works, but the parts that do, work well. It needs some searching, but there's much potential in this sort of automation.
Very poor, the app is down it doesn't let you log in. Tried multiple times and keeps saying network error when clearly everything else is working fine!!
Trouble to set up. Don't try to connect to home network. Change to ap mode. If you got a Amazon don't follow the paperwork it's incorrect. Found via app help.
App used for gu10 smart bulb this works good. It could be made easier when setting light sequence and could be made much simpler.
server is down, all devices are offline for more than 4 hours. still waiting then to have the server back. I m using the product for 5 days and already have this issue
Doesn't connect easily to bulbs. I own 25 smart home devices and this is the worst experience so far. Don't buy their products. ...
For an unknown reason I cannot load into my light's functions. I am stuck in a loading screen and I can't even control the color of the light.
Almost perfect but maps are not working and I can't make my lapm open automatically when it's raining. Please fix it! I want make my lights automatic!
Used the app to configure some smart globes. Seems fairly easy to setup and get working.
The turn on button in "devices" doesn't work every time, also its is very small and i keep pressing on it and in opens up the device as a whole
Pairing / network connection lights won't function normally if not connected to network either
Form 3/10/21 suddenly the app can't connect to vtac servers so the lamps are unusable / can't controlled by the app or Alexa . What's going on ?
New update made the app unresponsive and loading lights menu sometimes takes forever. Please update asap.
Cannot connect with Amazon Alexa..Found in Alexa app.but not able to connect the device. Useless!
Went through every step to be told right at the end this app no longer supports v- tac doorbell . Its v - tac why does it no longer support it's own product
After much messing about (2 hours) the autoscan finally worked and the lights are now working
I use it to run some lights into my home. The widget for controlling the devices is slow, difficult to set up, and offers terrible functionality. Using the app in general is tedious and quickly wears down your patience. I would rather use conventional light bulbs and keep a stick by my side all day every day. 2 stars because I know some apps that don't even have widgets.
