This app is garbage. There are several apps with more functionality that are free or less than $5. Pro Golf is one. In my experience with this app on pixel 3 android 11, it freezes constantly, and most of the functions don't work. All it is good for is slow motion and drawing shapes. I can already use the built in camera for that. And when you take videos with this app or import videos, the resolution is horrible. The phone's camera is much better. Don't waste your money.

App is decent. You pay money for swing models, and most of them have a bad camera angle and are therefore useless.

This app got my email a credit card info, but won't let me use it. Looks like a complete scam app. My instructor recommended it but I don't think he knows that is only a scam.

The IPhone app is superior to the Android, as one user mentioned this version seems like it was designed a decade ago and all effort was put into IOS. Crashes constantly and the ability to analyze your swing severely limited on the Android version. There is a huge market for Samsung phone apps and they have obviously put zero effort into the Android.

The app is very easy to set up and use. I particularly like the "range mode" when taking videos so I don't have to run back to my phone every time to start a video of a new swing. Drawing lines on the screen is a great way to analyze your swing. I would not have discovered several things that I was doing wrong without the slow motion video.

The app itself is no better or worse than other similar apps helping with golf swing analysis. However the support is terrible. Took ages to resolve a simple technical issue. A request for a refund of an online golf lesson, which the golf school couldn't deliver, was met with total silence....I put the lost money down to experience, other users beware if you plan to part with any money, you won't get it back if things go wrong!

They have FINALLY fixed importing of videos. For me at least. I use a note 9. Someone from their team messaged to say uncheck the HD mode conversion and then it worked. So fyi for others struggling maybe try this out. Amending rating to 3 stars for now. Hope they fix all the problems as well as are more timely with updates from now on.

Astoundingly great app!! Obviously a golfer designed this for all the rest of us golfers. Extremely easy to use and learn from this app!! To be able to record your swing....send to an instructor and have them send you back improvements is just so easy and helpful!! If I could, I would have giving it 10 stars. Thank you V1 team!!

App doesn't work when using a pre recorded video and they take money from you without asking. Had paid for premium but now where does it notify or tell you that this will auto renew. You can't manage your account that way. Just noticed money out of my account and they haven't given me a receipt or advised it was coming. The app doesnt let you view or cancel or manage whatever dodgy plan they put you on either. I'll be asking for a refund and for them to delete card information.

Ugh. Free version only works a few times before purchase is required. I get the freemium model but this is ridiculous. Addendum: I ended up purchasing the app for $39. Not a lot but big mistake. Five days after purchase I don't have access to features promised by the developer. For example when I try to use the Compare feature the app tells me to purchase the app! The app also crashes regularly. Would like my money back but from the other reviews customer service isn't a priority.

I downloaded this app mainly so I could analyze my swing. I love the fact that you can play it back at various speeds and also adjust it frame by frame. In the video analysis there are tools to fully edit and mark up your videos too. This is a great app for any golfer.

How does this compare with Coach's Eye? I had an original version of V1 some years ago with a David Leadbetter instructional DVD box set. It became virtually obsolete with the introduction of later operating systems. It won't work properly on Windows 10 and was struggling on W7. Coach's Eye seems to work OK on Android but it's better to pay than be swamped with ads.

I cannot upload videos with my android phone. They tell me my problem has been submitted to the V1 Golf Development Team but I have not heard from them. Their computer software does not work with Windows 10 so I am paying a golf academy to analyse videos I can upload. This is ridiculous.

Used this before and deleted it because it was so difficult to use and it hasn't improved. Videos are always on their side whichever way you rotate the phone, slow motion not available and graphics are poor. Very sad

Not sure if the iOS version is better but the Android version is really buggy. Also the orientation of the video gets mixed up with imported videos, which is a huge pain when trying to send to an instructor

was pretty interested in getting this as i had heard it was a great tool but after reading alot of reviews with the same problems in the last few months I will look elsewhere. seems like you tried to fix an already great product and erased alot of customers saved videos and lessons which is major turn off.

This app is great for any level player. It provides excellent feedback on your swing. I especially like the overlat feature, it allows you to stack a swing video on top of a seperate video and you can compare the swings to one another, you can even use thi as feature with a Pro's swing and compare the two.

Awesome app, great to see what you are actually doing, as opposed to what you think you are doing. The drawing tools are great for referencing actual positions in the swing, as opposed to the desired positions, you can then, change and correct your positions, to achieve a more efficient swing.

Decent app, have been using it for about 6 years. Wish it had a focus option for better lighting in capture mode...makes it tough when it is not too bright. Nevertheless a good app to record, review and analyze captured and model swings.
