What a pain to connect. Tried multiple times on my phone and got nowhere, installed the app on my cheap tablet and it connected instantly and works a treat, just make sure you ONLY connect to the light, no other WiFi and it works fine.
No longer connects to app! I unplugged my lamp and after powering back on refused to connect. Neither wi-fi nor app reinstall help. The app works very well once you figure out how to connect to it. For those having issues connecting: On your Android device (sorry, I can't help with Apple) disconnect from the WiFi you connect with, and then connect by tapping the connection starting with "V2-". Enter your password (8 zeroes for mine) Start the V2iLumenAir app, and you should be good to go.
The app connects to the light but then doesn't work. It is constantly buffering? So the light is now useless as it cannot be changed without the app :s? If there was 0 stars, this would get it!
Hope someone can help, I find the v2 on my phone in WiFi settings, I can connect and go in the app and set up my light, but when I try to connect it to my home WiFi it just keeps loading, am I being daft as I thing you could control these lights from the app even when out and about?
What's going on.? Terrible app. Like everyone says it makes our light useless. Not a great advertisement for purchasing any of their new products..!! Please fix this app. Or please get someone else to have a play about with it.!!!
when it works it's great but drops internet a lot you have to uninstall app then reinstall all fine for a week or so then have to do it again nightmare at times
Absolute rubbish app. Reinstalled numerous times and still won't connect, lights now useless £350 quid down the drain. Stay away from these lights.
I have a very expensive paper weight thanks to this app it should be illegal to sell something so useless. My light will not stay connected and now I can't do anything with it. DO NOT BUY ANY LIGHT THAT USES THIS APP
just bought a v2 compact 50w second hand and had a lot of struggle connecting the light, it did eventually work after a lot of googling.
Absolutely useless app, just buffers all the time and cannot adjust this rubbish light.
literally cant use my light because the app doesnt work! it wont connect, and theres no manual way of controlling the light system!!
ZETLIGHT you need to get something done about this app, it's making the v2 ilumenair 1200 unusable and they are not cheep lights. You do expect to get some use out of them, but without this app it's no good.. I'm goin to be taking my lights back and as for a refund.. Get something done about this before you get reported to the appropriate authorities. Making people waste money
App is very slow and very hard to connect to the light via the app but once its connecyed it does work
Will not connect to my internet. Same problem as many other users. Kind of pointless. TMC can't help.
My light would no longer connect to old app had to install this one? Some notice would have been nice!
terrible can't connect to the lamp unit. app just sits there egg timer for hours and hours.

This app needs expanding so the light changes can be ramped up and down through the presets rather than instant change. Also had issues connecting with Samsung S8. You must check the default Wifi password is set to eight 0s e.g. 00000000 otherwise the connection fails. This important information was not provided with my TMC ilumenair 900
Was hesitant to purchase the light due to negative reviews, but I found it extremely easy to set up. You connect to the lights WiFi, set it up, then simply come off and reconnect to your normal WiFi, done. Extremely easy to programme your preferred settings, with easy to understand options.
