Was a good app. Then you all had to go and mess it up! If you're going to update the app, be sure to test any new additions for bugs prior to integrating them into the app! I've had this camera app for 6 months and have had to "tinker" with it and reinstall multiple times to get it to work!
As of today, whenever you open the app, the lower part pf the screen is blocked by an Ad, and you can't skip the ad, you're basically stuck in that screen. What's going on? This is useless I can't see the camera screen anymore!! Fix this read on the other users reviews, it's the same problem! Update: i uninstalled the app same issue!
I read the reviews it figures it was too good to be true for the price. After firmware upgrade it will no longer connect. When it was connecting initially all the colors were washed out. Returning to Amazon going to need to spend a little more money.
The app almost always says the camera is offline when opening the app. It takes me 5 minutes for refreshing and attempting to get the device to appear as online in order to access it. Once connected, it is playing the video fine, restart the app and then gotta do it all over again. I might change my review if it gets fixed.
every thing is fine, one major problem which i am currently facing is that we cannot change the camera position on 4 or 16 view interface while using multiple cameras. developer, please allow users to change camera positions on a 4 camera or 16 camera interface. second thing, opening app, connecting to cameras, is very slow and takes alot of time. this is very ineffective way for meeting emergency conditions.
3 cameras all installed in same type fixture. Some show up as down, some correct. All move left to right in reverse. All had delay in responding to commands. Since update, app won't open at all. Just comes up with 1.4 new release screen. UPDATE: Had to reinstall app to get it to open.
Is not working... I've tried to uninstall & re-install. Previously it was fine.. is there a bug in the program/software? The Ad. Keep staying in the landing page. Only able to login once, 2nd attempt couldn't login anymore.
I got 2 new HD mini cameras BUT the app does not work well with them (it is the app that comes with instructions). The notifications are iffy, do not always work, and when it does, it take many minutes to send to the phone. Horrible.
M not happy with this app because by mistake i generated the user account and password, unfortunately I forget the password and the issue is, it's not recovered whereas, i tried many times but I failed. Is there anything to help me out, without password it's not connecting.
An incredible marriage of old and new technologies - the old (electric light-bulb socket) and the new (wireless Internet or WiFi). This camera, a technological wonder in its own right, is quirky, however, once understood it's the most amazing product on the market...bar none!
The app needs to be updated, make provision for visa or master card cloud purchases for other countries around the world instead of PayPal 🤦♂️ Also the alarm doesn't notify me on my app, rather it does only at the camera. We need to be alerted as well from our phones.
Very bad experience .. camera is not working even if I placed it near the WiFi. Is requesting all the time some sort of subscription which I don't want and don't like. Bad experience. Not recommend ...
Often unable to access my camera from the internet/cloud. Even on the local network, I need to close and reopen the app to change the network status from WAN to LAN. Please kindly fix this. Thank you.
The application has no option to share the device with a link, only sms and doesn't have all regions so I can't share it with anyone. I didn't find a way to delete records from the card. It also has a delay for speaking to it. I'm not sure if it speaks anyways
Total ok, but playback video fast-forward option is not there,& motion detection not working properly, 1st improve the update playback video fast-forward option, waiting that option. Incase update playback fast-forward option I will purchase more 3 camera's..
This app is great, theres just a bug i dont like and it is very annoying. I cannot open my cctv cameras, it is loading long and saying i have abnormal network connection when my wifi is totally FINE, and when i triwd to reinstall i cannot LOG IN my account or either put my country number. Please fix this, i wouldnt want to deal with this. I have experienced it two times.
Poor connection between the app and the camera. It keeps saying "Connecting" all the time just worked for few seconds and then back to "Connecting" although I have Fiber internet. Please send me instructions to my e-mail to fix this issue.
Both three applications from Macrovideo are unable to initialize cameras with empty factory password (refuse access). After init in DV380 these cameras operating fine in the cloud, I even don't know why use the local flash storage. After update to version 1.4.30 both v380 applications lost the ability to connect to devices with newer firmware (s/n 44xxxxxx), while still connecting to the older ones (43xxxxxx). DV380 is connecting fine to them. The update to 1.4.40 has no effect.
