IMPORTANT!! Before buying this app I suggest to try the app "VAG DPF Free" to check the correct functionality of your adapter and your Android because the free application shares the connection method and the data reading code so it's perfect to test if these important functions are working correctly.

Core functions:
- Display of 12 DPF filter parameters like: soot mass accumulation in the filter, regeneration duration, km traveled and time passed since last regeneration, EGR valve closing, exhaust gas temperatures of inlet and outlet of DPF (Attention: data shown may vary depending of the engine type due to the presence of the parameters into the engine ecu)
- Manual or automatic parameters update
- Display, for all the parameters, of the previous value and the difference between the actual and the previous value (only for automatic update delays different from 0 seconds)
- Ability to exclude one or more parameter to increase the reading speed
- Display of the filter filling percentage before reaching of the filling limit that starts the execution of a field regeneration (standard regeneration controlled by the engine ecu)
- Graphical display, using a progress bar, of the filling percentage value before starting a field regeneration or a service regeneration
- Graphical display of the filter status: red filter for the regeneration phase (passive, field or service) of grey filter with different back internal areas depending on the filling percentage value
- Display of extra data: adapter communication error counter, filter filling rating in µg/min, update time of all the 12 parameters, automatic update delay actually selected in options menu
- Notification bar icon to show an active connection and the auto-update process running

About ELM327 adapters:Currently on the market you can find a huge list of low cost clone ELM327 adapters using a cloned simplified version of the ELM327 chip; using these adapters with this app may introduce readings errors and also car connection problems or app freezing.For an optimal use I suggest a good quality adapter like an OBDLink LX, but the app also works with cheap adapters provided decent quality.

Working perfectly until last update. My engine CAGC disappeared 😕 😒. What's happening?!
Works good for a 2011 Seat with CAYC engine. The one issue that I have is that I need to refresh it manually. Even on first connect it doesn't read the values. Will try different settings and get back. Adapter is a VGate and phone is a Galaxy S8.
Great app when it works. Connected no problems on two devices, then it discconects and won't reconnect? Tried re-installing and re-paring still no joy. Would love to be able to use it. Quality OBDLink adapter aswell. VW Tiguan SE 150. I have since disabled Torque app and can now connect with VAG DPG early days, looking better though. Now working without problems. Either Disable Torque app or change torque to use Wi-fi if your using Bluetooth for VAG DPF.
Can you make a 'loud' alarm when regeneration begins as the current one I never hear ! Also maybe a toggle for a bleep to indicate regeneration is in progress. Good app that works with my VW golf and a Q7. More info about what the boxes mean be good to for the non motoring savy Thanks
Works fine with CAGB engine. I would wish for a readout of DPF back pressure. I think that would make sense, if possible. Edit: The back pressure feature was added, and is very nice. Excellent app.
This app works well on a 2012 VW T5.1 Transporter 2.0L CR CAAC engine, using a Vgate OBD II dongle. Just set the VAG DPF app to either group 3 or group 10 engines. This great little app helped me diagnose faulty readings being sent to the ECU from the DPF pressure sensor. The sensor itself was okay but found damaged wiring up to the ECU shorting the 5v and 12v supplies together. This app showed me the faulty readings. Great stuff.
After initial issue with no data displayed. I changed custom engine group settings from Read ECU to CUNA (For MK7 GTD) now working like a charm. I was pleasantly surprised it worked with an old cheap Vgate Bluetooth Scan Tool!
Good app. Does not seem to work on the newer Android 9 phones. Not mine anyway. Is this going to be sorted in the near future? I have the paid version which does not work at all now.....CORRECTION .. DID NOT WORK BUT CHANGED A FEW SETTINGS...ALL GOOD NOW...BRILLIANT APP AND A BARGAIN PRICE... TOP BACKUP AS WELL. THEY EMAILED ME WITHIN HOURS OF POSTING THIS. THANKS.
Genuinely essential app! It's got great features, and the new updated UI with the history graphing is brilliant! I wish this was a standalone product because it is so useful

Great app, gives a very informative look in to the DPF a good way to see if anything is wrong. I would would suggest that the app offers some information on what the data means and what the tester needs to do at what point.
Really useful app, happy with all the data protected. Would benefit from having coolant temperature.
Great app connected to carister first time. I'm using it on my 2016 vw crafter. The only thing that would make this app better is if it was android auto compatible so I could display the data on my pioneer head unit
Good tool, works great with cheap elm on audi a4 b8. Can you maybe please include posibility to condfigure trigger alarm for when the dpf is doing active regeneration? Because I am always letting it finish before I turn off the engine.
Very well done application that has improved since I bought it. With a high quality adapter it is very stable. Hats off to the developers.
Excellent. More help files and explanations of what the various parameters mean would be useful but this will build up in time. Well done for a useful app. Well worth the cost when considering what a main dealer will charge to tell you the condition of your DPF and if it's operating OK.
Works as explained I would like to thank the developer for the Clear information and great app that works as expected. Its fully compatible with my 1.6TDi seat leon. I used the tester app then the free app, made sure it works then purchased it. 👍👍
WORKS FINE with CAHA engine, just bought the full app after testing the free version, although interpretting the result might be tricky. Maybe someone will help. Thx
Works perfect, very useful for keeping an eye on DPF functions and for making sure it's regen is happening at proper intervals.
tried the free version to see if it would work on my vw crafter as engine code wasnt on list.(cktb) worked perfectly so bought the full version. everything I need.
Worked wonderfully - then suddenly won't connect to the OBD. Tried everything, but nothing works (I have the VAG diagnostic app, which is still fine)
Works perfect for CAYC engine and all versions of Android. This app really saved my DPF. Using it for more than a year now!
This app is easy to use, the display is good and it tells me everything I want to know about the DPF status. I am glad I bought this version.
