I installed the free version of this app to test it before buying the paid version. When I attempted to connect by blutooth to my 2013 VW Jetta TDI (2.0 litre) using an OBDLink MX device I received an error message saying either the vehicle was not supported or the device was cheap (incompatible). The device is not cheap but high end and works well with my other apps for vehicle and motorcycle diagnostics. The author of the app states it has been tested and works using an OBDLink LX.
Doesn't appear to work on the MK5 TDI BKD, BKP, BRE series of engines. They are not listed as being supported, but I thought that I'd give it a try, It would be fantastic if the developer could add support for these models in, as I am sure that there will be a few owners of older VAG group vehicles who would be interested in the valuable data this application provides.
I have installed this app 2 years ago...still waiting for cbdb engine...
Love this application and works well with CFFB and CAHA engines. However i seem to have an issue with CWFA 1.2 TDi (55kw) engine, i can't toggle on/off the soot mass calc, regen duration and distance since last regen buttons? They stay on but don't update. Can you help?
Great app, worked well for me. Had this on my old car (1.6tdi CAYC I think) and it worked great. Unfortunately my new car (3.0tdi CDYA) does not work.
I tested on 4 OBD adapters and with all of them I get an error with something like "not supported". I tested it on CFFB and CBDB.
Tried to connect to a mk1 tiguan (CFFB) but it's telling me the engine is not supported or the reader is faulty. I've got an ELM327 which works perfectly with other apps. Am i doing something wrong?
Great app and works well on Audi 2011 Q5 3.0 Tdi with Carista.... Would love to see it work in landscape mode.... Please
Unfortunately it doesn't work with my Audi A4 2012 facelift Avant 2.0 Tdi quattro 177ps (CGLC) so there is no point for me to buy a full version 🙁
Shame you have no option to use a USB connection 🤔 OBDLinkEX
Tried connecting to 4 different obd connectors and doesn't connect to any of them ... The useless
Extreme useful app for every TDI owner. Does anyone know if "CBAB" engines will be ever supported? Would love to diagnose my a3 cbab soon.. greetings from Germany
Doesn't work. Torque lite and pro work fine. This is useless
Great to make sure your engine and ELM327 is compatible and as the developer said test here before buying the full version
Vw 2012 CFFB, ELM327 interface...works..it shows the soot mass , km sience last regeration...exactly like in the pictures app
Works fine with CFFB engine. Great app. Will buy premium version
Tried carista dongle to connect to my 2007 seat leon fr ( BMN ) , says cannot connect to ecu needs verification.
Works with my 2013 T5.1 , so bought the paid version for the extra info
App looks great but no support for older engines. I have a 58 plate Seat Leon FR engine code BMN. if possible please add this one
Perfect! Such a handy tool
hi Mate just wondering if this app will works on holden captiva diesel 2.2ltr in Australia....?
Any plan to use USB ELM327 adaptor?
useless not working
Not connecting to my peugeot
Not compatible with CEGA
Doesn't connect to the OBD
Does this work with the Carista reader?
Tried the app, along with the paid version, to see if it in fact would be compatible with my 2014 Volkswagen Beetle TDI. Neither did. A positive I take away from this experience is confirming the engine on my Beetle is a CJAA which, checking the list of engines compatible with the app, is not found. Odd, as this app is highly recommended by fellow TDI enthusiasts driving similar Beetles. Would be much appreciated if the Developer were to achieve compatibility with the CJAA.
