VAG VIN Decoder
This software allows you to decode by typing or scanning the following:
- Vehicle Identification Number( VIN);
- Options codes;
- Engine code;
Also, by entering only the first three characters from VIN it will decode the WMI( World Manufacturer Identifier) for all other car brands.

Great app. Use it every day in my VW Audi parts business. Some inaccuracies. Need codes for engines for other countries outside Europe. Would be twice as good if it had transmission codes man and auto with ratios etc. Keep up the good work. A big thanks from me.
I had high hopes for this app, but it fell way short of my expectations. My VIN, according to this app, is for an Audi S4 or RS4 Quattro (B7 platform, 2005-2008). My car is an '03 Audi A4 Quattro (B6 platform). The app is a full generation off the mark in my case, so I would advise you to verify any of the info you get from this app.
The app is ok although it has some discrepancies and does not have a very large European engine code database
Incomplete. I have an Audi car made by its Quattro division and the app says "unsupported" brand.
Couldn't even get my engine right. Says I have 1.6 MPI which was not even an option when my car was built. If it cannot get something as basic as the engine right, I don't think I can trust it for anything else!
The Options Decoder didn't work AT ALL if you have an ad blocker installed. Even if it's turned off, the app doesn't let you access it. Unacceptable. Not worth purchasing for info you can get online for free...
Not everything it decodes is correct but works for me. I consider it helpful.
This is just cr*p.... I put the vin of my audi a4 it gave me nothing but a list of models a3 a4 a6.... no info and zero info extracted from the vin ... it just tells less than what you already know about your car... that you have a german car... made in bavaria.... shame on you for this cr*pware... of course I got it removed...
Even with ad blocker turned off, it still won't run.

Pretty nice features with a bit ugly user interface. I would give 5 stars if the UI were updated to ICS standards.

Could of like to get parts code as well with it for car. But like how it gave make and origin.
"Ford truck. Not supported - Showed an Audi, VW WTF". SERIOUSLY? VAG stands for Volkswagen Audi Group! Unless your car is VAG based this app will be of no use to you.
Doesn't decode my vin just tells me the address of vw plant in Germany Poor

Has limited to zero info on any vin if it even says anything at all
Needs a Lot more info and Availability from chassis and Engine codes...
Its a great idea but cant even decode Chevy????!
This app is usefull
If you have an adblocker, it whines at you to pay for it and will not let you use it. So I'll just uninstall it and use a free online decoder. You've made your point at the cost of a potential customer. Good job.
