The app just shows you a short video about others who found a check inside their envelope when you scan the "YES, IT'S REAL" text inside - it has nothing to do with actually winning any money. The language in the envelope is intentionally ambiguous about the purpose of the app, as far as I can tell. It was a complete waste of time and I regret downloading it or granting it access to anything on my device. Uninstalling immediately.

Pointless App! It wasted my time. I scanned my envelope like it said-it kept scrolling back & forth with sparkly stars making you think something's happening but that's all it does; as people are saying what kind of great coupons they got/saved money, but other than that it doesn't do anything. I thought maybe it wasn't working so I tried it again and over and over that's all it did. It's a huge waste of time! I'm uninstalling.

Downloaded this app to scan my envelope to see if I won. There aren't any instructions about what part of the envelope to scan, just a SCAN ENVELOPE button. I tried scanning my address and mailing baroda, but all it does is scan. It doesn't indicate that the scanning is accomplishing. After letting it scan for a few minutes, I just gave up. Now I will be removing it from my phone.

I've always opened Valpaks, and occasionally use the coupons. Saw the download app thing in conjunction with Cost Plus World Market, and noticed bad reviews as I downloaded, but didn't read them. I couldn't get it to do anything but make some green sparkles on my screen, so read the reviews, and see I had even less luck than the others. Uninstalling.

The check itself would have actually been in my envelope if I was a winner. Seems like it'd have been a simple fix for them to make the instructions more clear. As it is, the instructions on my envelope say, "Point your device at the $100 message above to hear from past winners!" For my ValPak, I had to scan the words, "Yes, it's real" to get a video which shows how the check is received. Silly not to fix something so simple.

When you scan the envelope, all you get is a commercial that shows what it would have been like if you actually won $100. That's all the app does. Extremely lame compared to the predecessor app which is no longer supported.

The app has never worked I have sent emails to the "feedback" within the app and I am in no way expecting to have a response from a human let alone having the issues with the resolved. If I could say anything good about the I would, but I can't find anything good to say about it. It is useless!

Opon scanning it will show a short video of someone winning the blue "congratulations you won $100" coupon. You do not need to download the app to win and it does not improve your chances of winning at all. I had it installed for less than a minute.

I receive a Valpak every Sunday in the paper. This is the first envelope I've seen with mentioning the app. I thought cool, let me download it. I did. Opened the app and scanned my envelope. All it does is show a video of someone opening a Valpak and pulling out the voucher for $100. It also saves that video to your phone. Why. Sketchy. Extremely pointless app. Just continue to open your Valpak, you'll know if you won.

Scan the envelope never actually finishes scanning. There is no verification that it's done scanning letting you know if you've won or lost. There's no way to tell that the system has scanned anyrhing. What a scam.

Poor steps on how to use. Found more info in the reviews. Uninstalling bc i dont need an app that puts photos/videos on my phone. I thought this wld be like a coupon wallet type app not a scan ur envelope, dont say when completed, and add photos/videos to phone.

Worst idea ever. Valpak is the only mail I constantly get with one day delay (I know it by using USPS informed delivery). Guess what! Postman can easily scan thru each envelope in the neighborhood without opening them, thanks to this app. It's like sending money in mail and writing on the envelope that there is cash inside.

App tries to find a new version because this one is for an older version of Android - my phone is 3 years old and my Android OS is two versions behind the new one. What version did they make this app for? I understood this was to hear winners talk, but that's *all* it does? Why create an app that only plays messages about *others* winning money? They could have created a QR scan code for free online and linked it to a webpage that plays the messages or a YouTube video with the same. So lame!

Don't bother installing. I'm uninstalling. I opened the app. Scanned and it just gave me a lot of green stars. After coming here to understand, I realized, it posted two videos in my photo gallery. Um, no thanks.

Doesn't work. Says the app I have is for an older version and to check for an update but there is no update. Looks like I'll be deleting this app.

Truly a waste of data and server space at Google by having this app on their market. All this app does, is show you what poor AI looks like from a high school computer class. Valpak could of just put a QR code link to a Youtube video that would just play that same 20 second video this garbage app does and I wouldn't need to download an app for that.

DONT DOWNLOAD! JUST LOOK, DO YOU HAVE A COUPON THAT SAYS YOU WON? NO? Well, you. me and 49, 998 other folks as well ONLY 1 in 50,000 win $100 and it says to down load app to scan your envelope but it takes several minutes and then just says Look inside the envelope! Why would I download anything when i could just look inside the envelope, better yet, it was not there to start with. Crazy folks just lie, cheat and steal and do anything they can to get you to download their app. i deleted it.

The app has a bunch of geen dots while it trys to read the text then it finally locks on and there is a blue woosh but nothing happens after that. I've heard there is supposed to be a video but I didn't get one. I won a 100 dollar check in valpak and use the coupons but this app is a flop!

I have a Samsung Galaxy S21. The app only works with older android phones. I clicked on ",check for updates", but it appears there are no updates available.

Unfortunately, this app always fails to open. The message that appears on my Google Pixel is that the app was designed for an older version.

uninstalling, I should have read the reviews first. I tried to scan my envelope, but the only thing that happened was a blue star burst and then the app wigged out and took me back to the scan envelope page.

People are misreading the envelope. It states, download the app and scan the envelope to hear from past winners. If you won, the check is in the envelope itself.

what a waste!! does nothing. you will know if you're a winner by looking inside your envelope, no need for this app. also downloads a stupid useless video to your phone. anyone that gives this app more than the 1 star required to leave a review has to be exaggerating.

Can't give negative stars. It just has a line go nack and forth across the screen with sparkles to prove it's "scanning". No coupons pop up like they used to have. Deleting.

The fine print on the outside of the envelope states "$100 checks are randomly inserted. 1 in 50,000 envelopes has a check inside." Dont waste your time with this stupid app! It just shows you commercial for Valpak

The app never opens. I have tried 4 different envelopes over the past 4 months. I have a Samsung S10. I miss the old app

Download the app so I could scan my envelope, but like others, a bar just goes back and forth with some green sparkles but nothing ever actually happens.

Doesn't work. Keeps scanning and never results in a winning or losing message. What's the point? Don't bother

thought there would be more offers or something. is it really just for scanning the envelope to be shown an ad? that's a bummer.
