I love Valvoline. Coupons, friendly faces, the monitor that lets you watch the work being done (and see the bottom of your car, probably for the first time) and the SPEED! Once you're in, that is, and you can potentially wait in line for a long time, up to an hour, if it's busy and a city location. But it's worth it!
Bare bones app. No features. Assumed it would provide ability to keep a record of work done on my cars, receipts etc. I can find locations and get coupons without the app very easily. What's the point of this app?
A Google search would reveal the same information as the app... There are coupons but they aren't worth it ($7 off a $99 full synthetic oil change vs. buying a GroupOn coupon for 50% off is a no-brainer). The app doesn't keep track of services you had performed at Valvoline... Simply a way to find a location and maybe the wait time (inaccurate - said there was a possible 10 minute wait time but the place was closed!). For what Valvoline charges they should offer more with their app.
Oil change today. A bit pricey even with coupon, but staying in the car and having the rear wiper changer was worth the cost. Friendly team and seemed to be competent with great customer service! Thanks guys!
Fast, friendly staff with efficient service at a great price. The only down side is they're so good that they're often very busy. The app helps me get notice of which one near me has the least wait, before I get there, and access to decent coupons to save us money on the service.
Great service! Inspect and only replace what is relavent, not what isn't necessary, like a lot of the other service stations do.
The app is supposed to tell you what the wait time is at the Valvoline location you select. My local Valvoline showed a 14 minute wait, then it dropped to 7 minutes as I was driving there. I have now been waiting here 35 minutes and there are still 2 cars ahead of me. I would have waited for another day if the app had given an accurate wait time estimate. To be honest, it feels intentional: get as many people lined up with cars behind them keeping anyone from backing out. This is a lousy app.
Trying to reset my password. Typing in the exact code they emailed me and the app tells me the pin is incorrect. Well I guess you emailed me the incorrect pin. Maybe you should worry about yourself.
Great service. Efficient, knowledgeable, and saved me money by teaching me how to get and use their oil change coupons.
Coupons are nice but I must be expecting too much from the app. I would think that the purpose would be to show me my past history. I get coupons in my email from Valvoline. No need for email and app coupons.
The app doesn't get updated quickly enough for you to get a true wait time at the service place you're heading to.
This app looks good and seems to work well overall; but one of my coupons disappeared when I switched from Wi-Fi at home to LTE at the shop, wasting time at the shop. Also, I thought there was going to be an estimated wait time feature, but didn't see any. Customer service at the retail location was excellent.
This app shows the same amount of info as a google search. Actually less! I entered the city, zip code, even zoomed in to the exact location of the Valvoline I always use and it's not on their map. Just a blank unmarked building. According to the app there's 0 in my area when google shows 2 within 10mi. of me. Also this app should hold more information. Like a mileage reminder for when I need my next oil change. That list of recommended maintenance that gets pulled up when they scan my car why isn't that on the app? I used the same email to sign up as the one they have on file so at the very least my cars information should be able to be linked and displayed in app. This app literally does nothing for me except show me the coupons I already have sent to my email.

Janky performance, plus wanted too many permissions. Had to sign up, create password before first use. Immediately offered me a $5off coupon for signing up. Left it onscreen to use (I was getting an oil change right then) but app timed out. When reopened app, it didn't recognize me, didn't offer any way to sign back in, only signup again from scratch. Then that process hung, wouldn't let me click to approve terms of use. Forget it, too complicated and too intrusive. Uninstalled!
The app is ready to use and the staff at my store are friendly
The wait time shows no wait, but when I visited the store there as a 45 min wait. The staff person there said they have no control over the wait time posted and they don't know if it evens works. Terrible implementation of this app.
I have been to this business prior and never had a problem. 2 weeks ago I went in. I was told my air filter was dirty and I needed a new one. I was shown one that was absolutely filthy! Come to find out when I was going to change it myself, mine was actually perfectly CLEAN!!! While this was found out a vacuum line was found laying tucked under the hood. They were the only ones who had been under that hood! They tried to sell me wiper blades, license plate lights, and a battery!Battery is new!!!
