At first the service was great, there wasn't as long of a wait to be picked up compared to now. regarding the app my complaints are that it doesnt allow you to contact the bus driver, im not notified when they arrive, i cant purchase day passes on the app, i tried to go from Stockton to tracy but i couldnt put in the transfer point located at the savemart in Lathrop then when i tried to book a trip by calling no one picked up, i wish it show u who theyre gonna drop off and pick up b4 ur drop-off
The app is buggy and you are basically stuck if it is unable to book the trip. If you can book a trip, you cannot rely on the estimated times because they are not at all accurate and do not update. The service itself is good, but you will run into issues if you need to be somewhere by a particular time.
I like that if you have a student they can ride the bus more safer and parents dont have to go . They will drop your child off in front the school and you can have them pick them up plus students are free. Just make sure your child has a phone so you can keep in touch with them . Also I like it shows the time of pick up its safer to me as a parent especially if your child walks to school you can have a piece of mind they have safe transportation if you don't.
Buggy, buggy, and even buggier. I cannot use my Motorola G5+ phone with this app. However, my 5+ yr old Nexus tablet has no problem. This is a great idea. I just wish it worked on my phone. :-( Emailed the developers with absolutely no response. I will edit this review if anything changes.
The idea of what Vango provides is amazing however the wait takes forever. The app tells you an estimation and the Vango comes almost two hours late with no warning or updated estimaited time. This service will get you where you need to go eventually but forget it if you are on any type of schedule because you will be late. The drivers i have had in the past have all been really nice but this service is terrible and needs major improvement
i liked that it picks you up in front of your home ,only $4 for each trip ,alot better than uber or lyft ,and app is very easy to use, driver was very friendly and i enjoyed my trip.
The app consider crashes and your account doesnt show up. Most of the time you cant see your booked rides when it crashes.
App was useful in requesting the VanGo service. Surprised how quickly the van showed up at my pick up place. The driver was very curtious and helpful too!
Great idea. Rules, rules, rules App needs TLC. Phone tree is cumbersome. Phone number is not on app. Based on their booked ridership, app should suggest windows for pickup. Currently booking is a wild guess on availability. ETC.
Good service. One concern. The App will not use my LTE data when wi-fi is not available
If you have to go to work or go to an appointment then this is not for you, I always schedule my trip 1hr- 1hr 1/2 before going in to work & they are NEVER on time or they cancel my trips "because they overbooked the vans" to save you some time and having to go through this just get Uber or Lyft
I can't login at all.
Sometimes can't book when you need a ride. Then you ask for 9:45 pick up and your window is 10:00 to 10:30, leaving you less time to spare.
Cannot book a ride on this app. Tell me everytime cannot calculate fare for ride. I have to call vango to get a ride.
Needs more work. Very slow and many glitches.

Vango bus is awesome i love it some time its late but its ok with me the bus drivers are really nice

as of right now , june 1 2019, its running 30 mins late. i was suppose to be picked up by 655am, its now almost 730am.
Horrible with a lot of glitches
45 min window too long to wait mgrs in office choose who and when to pick up office people never do ride alongs to see what happens for drivers...... more corp power to the drivers office people need to understand job better .... not be rude on phone

Helps everybody gets around even on the holidays you don't have to wait until I text your Uber or Lyft comes then go RTD Van Go are a big help to our community thank you so much San Joaquin RTD.

Easy to use
Thankful for Van Go! But... It would be very simple to have this app Remember your home address so you don't have to input it every time you make a reservation to go someplace. It would also be a simple thing to have it remember any special notes for the driver, and places where you go frequently so you can just click on your choices Also it would be helpful 2 know when you should be picked up if you have to get some place at a certain time, like a doctor's appointment
