It seems like every month there is another issue with this app. My account was just locked because of the fingerprint login that failed, and it wont even let me login with my password either after resetting. Guess its back to Chrome as my 'banking app' with a web page left open. -using note20
Was perfect when fingerprint still worked. Now I have to put in my password and answer a security question every time I want to view my balance. Absolutely annoying.
It worked fine for months, but with the most recent bug fix it seemingly stopped being able to use the fingerprint scanner on my phone. It comes up with an error everytime so I end up having to manually log in which is just a minor inconveniance for me, but for some this could be really irritating. Edit: found a way to fix the issue, disable the fingerprint scanner, log in manually, then exit the app and reopen it, re-enable the fingerprint scanner.
I used this app for months, perhaps years, and it worked fine, minus crashes on occasion. Now, it wont even open to the login page. It's a black screen. I have uninstalled it and reinstalled it a number of times. It has not helped. I have to go through a browser to check my accounts. 2 stars because it worked previously, otherwise it would be a 1 star.
fingerprint not working when i open the app it asks to scan finger prints. it scans and says it's a match, then gives and error message. I am able to cancel that then manually log in. this is a huge inconvenience. It's been over 3 months of the fingerprint feature not working and it's frustrating that you all seem to not be addressing this issue at all. Please fix before I decide to bank elsewhere!
Fingerprint problem for 2 months now. Tried reinstalling several times. Already considering a new bank because the people in my branch don't know how to be bankers, they just know how to read their lines from the brochures they were given during training. This app issue is just one more reason to move on to a different bank all together.
It use to work great... after 2 years why doesn't the biometrics still not recognizing fingerprints.... u may as well just use the main page... delete the app until it's completely fixed... geesh.. and 1 star is still too generous
It's broken half the time, only useful for it's mobile convenience. Otherwise the UI is garbage and unprofessional at this day and age.
After 20yrs of banking with vcu I'm taking our money elsewhere, the fingerprint login still isn't working but it works flawlessly on iPhone its obvious they don't care about fixing it on Android. Thankfully st louis has plenty of quality credit unions in the area that aren't vantage.
I have to login via web browser because my fingerprint security setting isn't working. Since the New Year I've re-installed the application and confirmed password. How do we rectify the issue?
This app is just okay to me...whenever I have to reset my password I always, always gt an error message. Then I have to call to have it reset.
My android did an update, and now the biometric feature on this application won't work. I've uninstalled it and reinstalled it and still won't work.
The app had worked for years (even though it won't allow you to use biometrics *thumb print* to log in). Now you can't log in at all. When you select the app screen goes black and nothing happens. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling it several times and nothing works.
App is primal. Can only view transactions. Trying to pay my cc bill but app wont allow it. Forced to use website.
On first log in attempt it kicks me out completely. Have to load app again. Fingerprint log in doesn't seem to work. Is there a way to get notifications on purchases when you do not have the app open? Thanks. Everything else seems fine.
The app has been a bit clunky in the past but i think the most recent version(s) have been an improvement overall. The biometric login saves a lot of time when all i really want to do is check my balances. I haven't used the remote check deposit in a while but when it has worked, it has been nice.
This app used to be great, but in the last 6 months it crashes and errors like the other reviews. I spend more time having to fix the issue than using the app. They are aware of the issue. It would be nice to have a fix or update with real results and finality.
you need to fix the stupid app. it keeps shutting down and I cant login at all. I cant get past the login screen because it keeps shutting down, and it's been like this for a while. seriously unhappy with this, I'm a college student and i need to be able to access funds, especially since there isn't a vantage building anywhere near me, closest one is over 150 miles away
The app worked great UNTIL about two weeks ago when the finger print log stopped working. Finger print scan acknowledges successful scan and then hangs. It's a great app when it works and I used it several times per week so this is a legitimate inconvenience. I have an LG V30.
would be great if it didn't glitch about EVERY MONTH with no explanation or attempt to be fixed. I haven't been able to log in for days now, uninstalled and re installed the app. Fingerprint scan finally works but now there's an error code after the security question.
This app keeps crashing before it even opens. It's becoming frustrating that i cannot view my account through the app, and since theres no way to view your account online it makes users have to go to an atm to view it. would hope a fix happens soon
Previous version used to work. App doesn't work with fingerprint scanner and I can't get past the secret question screen. The application is now useless. I've uninstalled it and hope Vantage will fix it in a future version.
I can't download the app with the recent update. Had to uninstall thinking that would help the login issues and now I can't get it to download again. Had minimal issues prior to the most recent update. Bummed I can't check my account. I haven't been able to for a week or so now.
App is still crashing even after recent update on 2.20.19. Does not even go as far as the login screen. Please fix asap. This has been over 3 months without access and Im tempted to switch banks. Thanks!
New Edit: It has been months with the mobile deposit and fingerprint scan broken. VCU makes no attempt to fix. I'm winding down my accounts and switching banks. Old Review: Fingerprint scan always errors out. EDIT: Now login doesn't work at all. completely broken

Every update comes with a broken feature. Super annoying. FIX YOUR FINGERPRINT ISSUE!
I used to love this app, now it's more of a nuisance to use. I've had the fingerprint problem for months. I've contacted customer service and reinstalled the app to no avail. VCU please fix your fingerprint reader!
