VARO WiFi System Controller

Got this because it can be controlled by WIFI. If its on my WIFI why is there no way to control it with my laptop? First fail. Installed app on my Fire tablet just fine. It doesn't see "My Music". Second fail. When not in use will not stay connected to network; requires power on of each speaker every time, really? Third fail. Blue tooth also requires a two step process to connect. Fourth fail. Positives include: Sound quality is OK. Portability is nice too.

When I bought my speakers this app was perfect. I could adjust the volume independently between the speakers and control everything from my phone. After almost 3 years without updates the app no longer recognizes ANYTHING without reinstalling the app or verifying everything EVERY TIME I want to use it. Extremely irritating. And half the time after jumping through those hoops it bugs out anyway and freezes up. Unless there are some serious software upgrades I wouldn't recommend this app.

The app got me connected to wifi. I play my music or Spotify premium without problems, as long as I want. After not using I have to press power button and it always connects to wifi, ready to play. Sound is good, battery life good, water resistant. Not bad for $30. Would be nice to connect to devices for other audio services. Would be nice to connect to Alexa or Google Home.

Works as intended. Recognizes the speakers and can be used to connect them to the Wi-Fi network or to each other. I use it to group the speakers or change which channel each speaker is playing. The actual music casting is done with another app because this one is a bit lacking in certain respects. It can stream spotify, I heart radio and tidal but I don't use any of those. Instead I just cast my favorite internet radio station (shoutcast) and it'll play independently of my phone.

This app sucks. It is in desperate need of updating and it isn't very responsive. Great speak sound quality but the app is garbage. How can they just forget the main piece with this app when trying to link up the speakers.

the app always has issues and always has connection problem and didn't have any support from website or documentations. i owned 4 of these speakers and they are all not connected via wifi and none of them are working.

Abandonware. It was great when it was great (2019?) Now, however, it's utterly useless as it's mainly compatible with Android 9, not 10 and onward. I kinda wish it was opensourced to the masses

none of my 4 speakers will connect. you got my money but i am not opposed to tissing your inferior system if you cant update... also, speakers click off every time you touch it to adjust volume, CLEARLY a grounding issue

horrible app, half the time it crashes. lately speakers won't pair and the two that were paired won't separate.... Awful

android version is more limited but i can use my ipad and even an old iphone to play my Amazon music unlimited. problem is that i cant find a way to keep the speakers powered ON when plugged in. has to be some way like sonos speakers right?

it sucks i can only play it with a hard wire speaker line plug no wifi no phone its bull it wont go pass match wifi nothing cant go any father you can't get the Wi-Fi to hook up you can't get nothing to hook up no adjustments on speaker nothing can't do nothing with it

Trash. I contacted them for help, to be completely ignored. Your product is a great paperweight.

Most horrible app ever saw. It's completely broken on Android. Can't recognize wifi & keep giving ssid error.

Couldn't connect to the varo cube WiFi due to not updated software

This app needs so much work. It stops in the middle of a song. NEEDS YOUTUBE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. FIX IT PLEASE IT HAS SO MUCH POTENTIAL...

Crashes most of the time, no way to save favorite tunein stations, need premium spotify to use Spotify and developer email address is no good. Speaker sounds good but going back.
