BIN Check

Anybody can check the authenticity of a VAT registration number (called BIN – Business Identification Number or eBIN – Electronic Business Identification Number) by using the app VAT East. The will be finding out the status of a BIN/eBIN either the BIN/eBIN is active or suspended, locked or cancelled. They will be able to identify that the taxpayer is either risky one or trusted before doing business with him.

Complaint

If user of app, specially consumers want to lodge complaint against a taxpayer, tax officials can do by using the app. They will get feedback from the VAT office (Dhaka East) on their complaint. They will be awarded financial reward for giving authentic information of tax evasion.

Find VAT Office

Taxpayer of a person looking for nearest VAT office or a VAT office he required under Dhaka East VAT Commissionerate will find it by this app. This App will show the location of all VAT office under Dhaka East and will show direction to the required office.
Compliance Alert
If any taxpayer forgets to submit monthly VAT Return of Quarterly ToT Return, this app will remind the taxpayer sending notification and mobile SMS. This app will remind taxpayers about their compliance responsibility.
Compliance Acknowledgement
Taxpayers will get Acknowledgement notification after submission of their VAT or Turnover Tax return with special thanks from Commissioner.
