cannot even connect the base! All lights are on (ethernet works fine), but base stays offline. Tried everything, even removed device and restarted the app. No success. The manual and online help are not useful, just show the "successful" way to connect. No hint about problems and how to solve them. No response to feedback email. It's a pity, because the ads and the actual units look very promising. My recommendation: don't go here. Buy another (working!) system somewhere else.
Cannot even create an account as the keyboard will not stay on screen to allow me to create a password. Utter fail which probably means my new camera is useless until this is fixed. Not inspiring any confidence in this product. Update April 2020. V2 of app fixed registration issue, I've since found the camera loses connection with base station on a regular basis. My 4G connection to the base station is pretty much non-existent most days which makes using this product virtually useless when not at home. As of 9th April, an update to the base station firmware was released but they've forgotten to update the app at the same time so I can't access the camera at all unless I revert the firmware back. At least they are responding to my emails in an effort to fix things.
Would not connect with the base for my camera. I went through and did all the things they told me to do and then the communication completely stopped. I have tried to fix it myself. The base was extremely cheaply made and had to be dismantled for things to even fit properly. Now I have just all the insides sitting on my shelf and finally for the first time all of the lights are on and my app still says the base is offline. I have my Philips Hue plugged into the same port so I know that the internet port is working fine. Their support is horrible. I can't even tell you how their camera is because I never had a chance to use it! I was so excited for this because the magnet dome base of the camera was going to work perfect form what I was going to use my camera for. I would never recommend this company!
The app and cameras were mostly working ok until the v2 update. Now my app has auto updated and won't work until the firmware on the base station gets updated to match. However the base station refuses to update and just goes into a reset loop when I try. My advice is to not update to v2 as you'll just end up with bricked base station and cameras which you can't use.

App always crashes if you change any camera setting the app crashes then restarts everytime. The app has to many bugs and the motion detection box on hs004 is terrible how it functions. Ring has a feature we're you can scale or draw the focus point of detection.
STILL USELESS FOR HOME SUPERVISION AND MONITORING!!! Poor image quality, poor refresh rate, takes too long to start recording, doesn't record long enough and often doesn't record at all. Compound that with the fact that the notifications take 5-10minutes frequently to show up in your phone and you find that this app and camera system is garbage. Had several incidents this week and it caught half of one incident and NONE of the others. Garbage Garbage Garbage
App doesn't seem to send any notifications on galaxy S10. Triggers are occuring and app is picking this up but nothing comes on android notifications system. Edit: now notifies and much quicker to respond. Fantastic upgrade. Now give us Google assistant support and this goes to 5 stars. Edit. Update now works with notification.
The videos never load. I get a notification that motion was detected and when i go check theres no video. I refresh and close the app over and over untill it finally works
Takes a while to connect to base stations. Notifications don't seem to work. Can't view more than one Cam at a time. On pixel devices, the app screen stretches up into the notifications making it hard to use the top most buttons.
Finally got the app set up which should have been easier and more clear. Will update review once the base station and camera are set up. Trying to sync up and pair the base station to the camera was unsuccessful on my last attempt.
Revising review as new update to the app really delivers! Much easier to history for specific cameras, notifications working again and overall a good experience in the app. Only feature I wish they would add is a setting where the screen shot for each camera is updated on the overview screen every x seconds
After getting a new phone, the registration process worked flawlessly but now the NFS mounting and push notifications both fail to function. I've verified the NFS mount works from another machine on the same network and it doesn't provide a useful error upon failure.

Mostly Good except for the fact my wife and daughter wanted to play with it before the mounting was ready so they went ahead and registered with HER email address. There's appears to be no way to change the email without resetting everything. Why is this so hard?
Code button not working....cant log in, change password or register new account without it. Dashcam and my new home cam( which was delivered over a year late) are utterly useless until this is fixed and I cant see that happening any time soon eith their track record!
It was working well till this app update. The new app fails to connect, constantly suggesting retry. I am not happy with open ended permissions needed for making phone calls either.
This app does not recognize my base, I have tried everything. I keep getting error nsn does not exist whenever I add the base device.
Not user friendly, cam keeps turning off, too sensitive cam catches small gnats and rain drops, very unreliable at times.
I have setup 12 cameras and they all working fine and it's been running for about 8 months now without any issues.
Was working great, excellent images, great battery life but now no push notifications for motion is coming through on the Android.
Base station offline not able to get it online. I have emailed numerous times and it has taken up to 3 or 4 weeks for a reply. I finally got a EufyCam with same battery life. Hopefully I will be able to get vava home cam online and camera connected.
Easy..the cameras were easy to install, and connect to my wifi. Great picture as well. Would definitely recommend.
My first security camera! Very clear videos and it actually is true to what it says. Affordable but not a cheap product.
This app is difficult to use the product was difficult to use it kept disconnecting from my internet even though it was plugged in by ethernet cord the cameras kept going offline the base kept going offline was really frustrating
I bought two outdoor camera device and within 3 months, poor quality and one malfunctioned. Costumer service can't replace them.
This camera it's very bad, it's useless it's very pricey compared to the other CCTV cameras. I bought a Xiaomi camera for 30 dollars it's much better than this. I can't recommend this VAVA CAM.
This app is soooooo slow on notifications and switching on the camera.. By the time I receive the notifications the thief is already gone with my packages..smh
Easy to setup and very clear picture and videos. I have installed 5 cameras and and 2 base stations no trouble setting it up.
The app is ok but could be great. The good: Camera picture quality (daylight or night-time), layout of the app and ease of finding videos. The improvement needed: * The speed of response of recording - People have often travelled 7m through the cameras line of site and are leaving the property before the camera triggers the record... So no faces and lots of back of heads.
