Great addition to the windows based laptop I use every day at the shop. However it does not work anymore with Android 9.0
App very unstable, although could have a huge potential. Last update in 2014...
This app does work with the cheaper eBay dongle, with a little magic.
not working keep saying for android older version
Device dependant Has not worked with my pixel 2 xl for over a year-and-a-half now
didn't work with current Android version
You could charge $20 for the app and allow people fo use their own bluetooth or wifi obd2 adapters but instead you have elected to force peolle to buy your excessively expensive adapter and give the app out for free. IMO yoh would have made more money the other way, i for one would have paid the $20 as im sure a lot of other prople would have as well.
Only downvoting because after my phone upgrade to the pixel 2xl, the app no longer syncs with the device, everything still works perfectly though the laptop. Will return to a 5 star vote once that happens fantastic software and extremely useful!
What a joke it does not support Bluetooth OBD like elm327 you have to buy their hex net interface which cost $499...what a joke. My Bluetooth adapter cost me $3 and works with other apps.
The majority of the negative posts are from clueless people who don't know what this app is for. It's for VCDS, which requires authentic ross-tech equipment, not generic odb2 dongles.
I have the genuine hex net and work in a dealer, this app is awful. Errors all the time, adaptions are a struggle, have to re read faults twice to display faults. ASAM data hardly ever downloads. Needs alot of work.......
Only work with the excessive overpriced adapter. There are other (much cheaper) alternatives.
Please realize many measuring blocks and other data is missing. Even when using the cloud connection. I'd really appreciate if you can update all the advanced Id data on the unit for 2000 up because I have to plug it by pc+ usb to see this info.
I would use this app with my car if it supported Bluetooth OBDII adapters, but it does not.
Not as buggy as when it first came out, but they have a ways to go. Use Windows version for anything important
People, this not "an app for OBDII" . This is a wireless way to connect to a piece of a very expensive hardware, used by pros and geeks, only if you already have that hardware, Ross-tech's VCDS HEX-NET.
Doesn't work with Pixel 2 XL, cannot load interface
Why is it now taking up over 100mb of storage space? Not a big deal, but that does seem excessive for an 29kb download.
SMH why are these idiots giving this app bad reviews?? Its vcds system not your knock off honda code delete app
Free app, but $500 for the hex-net interface? Yeah, no. You could easily make more money charging ~$20 for an actual app instead of hosting your 1998-esque software on a extremely overpriced adapter. Might as well go to the dealer with that price lol.
Says that right my ip or another says failed to interface please help
Bought carly for vw Audi and Skoda works just as good and a fraction of the cost.
Over 1000 dollars to buy connector, useless
There are much cheaper and better alternatives compared to this
Will it work with Elm327???
it would be nice if it would work with a newer Android phone. I downloaded the app and also tried using chrome with a hex net with no success.
