I really like it, works like a charm and tells the time reducing risky snoozing behavior. However, I can't close the app and it keeps running in my notifications even if I kill it in recent apps: a fix in that would be nice
Ever since my device (Sony Xperia Z3 compact) did a full system update, this app fails to load showing an error message as soon as I press it. I love the app and it worked perfectly fine before the update. Tried a reinstall but this also failed. Would give it 5 stars if it worked again!
Offline mode and volume available. You can select any playlist from your premium Spotify account and store it into cache: not a problem on hammerhead. I've been looking for this app for so long. Wigwam labs rock. It just needs marginal improvements.
It does exactly what it says and not much else, which is great. It makes you login to Spotify rather than calling the existing application, which seems a little goofy, but it's a onetime thing. It also make you re-download all of your playlists that you want to use as alarms, probably because, again, it doesn't integrate with the Spotify app. It doesn't let you snooze, which is why it only gets 4 stars. And it won't play my Starred playlist, but all of the others are there.
I've been using this for a few months now and it's absolutely brilliant. I had a few teething problems because I didn't realize you have to touch the download button when you make a new alarm and wait for the playlist to download before turning off Wi-Fi. Now I could hardly live without it. Users should also realize that veckify counts as a separate device when syncing. So if you sync Spotify and veckify on your phone, and then two more devices, your playlists will be deleted and the alarm won't wake you up
I was a little fearful of the low user/review count, but I tried it and it's actually got everything I wanted. It looks like a ripoff of Wakeify (probably is) but does everything that app does not: * Says time between songs * Lets you choose playlists, not songs * Offline downloading of playlist * Random shuffling of playlist And it a fairly clean / minimal interface that doesn't look like someone's "Hello World" project. 1 Problem: I don't like having to enter my Spotify credentials.
It was pretty good and worked quite well but the latest update makes it so the app doesn't even open without crashing anymore.
Now for reason I can't log into it anymore. I use Facebook to log into Spotify and it was working great and now it keeps asking me to log in and I don't know how.
Doesn't seem to be an easy way to change the volume .. it uses my phones max volume instead which is terrifying. Also crashes regularly. HTC one m8
A few minor flaws here and there, but it works great. Besides, it's very clean and there are some neat details to it. I'd still like to think that I could do better, but there's no need for anything better.
Keeps the downloaded/offline music into cache memory, which clears at each restart and consumes a lot of the few available system memory. Additionally bugging on my ST-15i, crashes after the first song. Could be great and very useful but not yet ready.
Does exactly what I wanted. It would be cool if you could use a radio station though instead of playlists.
Good app, does the job, unlike the two other spotify alarms I tried. However, it generally crashes midway through playback of the first song. (Rooted) Samsung Galaxy S3.
The newest version crashes frequently when alarms are scheduled. That's a big problem for an alarm clock.
Used to be my favourite alarm but doesn't load playlists after I switched to the Galaxy S7 edge. Very disappointing.
It needs a snooze button. When it does work, the app stays on after you turn it off. Crashes a lot. Just not dependable, right now. Please fix! This app has so much potential.
Used to work great but I've been having huge problems with it not going off, not loading songs, and crashing for the last month or so, so I'm uninstalling. Sorry to see it go, such a great concept. If it helps, I have an LG G5.
The app often crashes or does not play the music when the alarm is supposed to go off. I thus need to rely on a backup alarm. HTC one X
It has crashed on start, twice now. First time, I didn't get up in time for work. Second time, I had a backup alarm. I really miss a volume control. An option for increasing the volum at wakeup would make it perfect.
Wouldn't recommend this because there's no snooze... Just an off button so I kept sleeping in
While it's a little minimalist on features, such as a snooze button, this seems to be the only app which will reliably wake me up to my Spotify music whether or not an internet connection is present.
Functions exactly in the way I hoped. Spotify playlists to wake up to offline. Like.
I don't misplace time in the morning because this thing tells me the time after every song. Haven't overslept since installing. A great idea well executed.
Nicely designed and executed scheduler. Particularly useful since spotify developers seem unable to come up with useful or original ideas for UI.
The idea seems amazing but I cant even use the app! It tells me to log in but I have my account with facebook and the option doesnt appear, please make a facebook login soon
Please make this work for my phone. Is exactly what I need. Will rate 5 *
Seems to be working well on CyanogenMod 12.1, Lollipop 5.1.1. Its the only one that works fairly well with CM Locker screen as it displays the music widget and let you control the pause and skip buttons. Just two annoying things: 1) It leaves a notification stuck on the drawer as long as there's an alarm scheduled; 2) There's no snooze button;
