Pretty good so far. It's had some product I've scanned. I wish it had a search option, and even ability for others to contribute scanned foods. I've a few things I could scan real quick for others info.
Sad.😞 So far l am much less than impressed despite having such high hopes & expectations. It is disappointing that MAYBE 1 out of 10 l scan actually reads, all other 9 say "Product Not found". Simple common items like Kellogg's cereals & Campbell's juices or soups. The few that l DO successfully scan; l am provided with clear detailed info, but it IS FEW. It says I've only scanned 7 items but what it doesn't tell is the truth; I've ACTUALLY scanned 10x that but it only recognized 7, too bad. 😐
I have only just started using the app, overall, I am very pleased. I would like it better if, when ingredients tiles are shown, that you could click that tile and find out what ingredient name is being used Which type of nut, or what chemical name they are usung for an animal product . For example, Nutty Bars, your scan indicates meat or fish. I can't tell which ingredient that is and I would like to know so I won't be fooled again!
I like how easy it is to identify if gluten free. Unfortunately, I am finding a fair amount of stuff that doesn't register. Hopefully they will expand their data base because I really like the functionality of this app.
Once it started scanning-- it took a few tries-- it only found 2 out of the first 6 products I scanned. Of the 2, it only had product info on 1. Good idea, but I'm not impressed.
I scanned 5 barcodes of cereal boxes and only one was in their database. The information displayed on that single match was not accurate at all. Uninstalling now.
This app is good in theory but it's not practical for celiacs. It because it not let you know if the product was processed in a factory that also processes wheat. So when it scans a product and there's no wheat ingredients but the label still says processed in a facility that processes wheat it does not recognize that it says not good for people with celiac this is okay for people who are just trying to avoid gluten as a fat but not as a health Factor.
I've scanned 3 things and they have not been found. I scanned a small bag of Classic Lays and it can be found. This is a common food item!
It almost never finds the product. Unless it's a very common item. I thought the whole point was to be able to scan any item and see if it's gluten free. Oh well it was worth a try.
Useless. I scanned 3 items. First item it didn't even tell me if it was gluten free, just that it contained dairy or eggs. It was ramen noodles so I definitely know there is gluten. Lays potato chips it didn't recognize and reeses.
The First item I scanned is a very well known product, country fresh cottage cheese. Item not found! If it cant tell me simple products, I cant trust to have difficult items.
you should just say whether or not each Product scanned by someone is gluten free or vegan. If I wanted to take the time to read the ingredients I wouldn't need your app . I would just look at the package of the product I'm questioning lol
Scanned several items and nothing was detected! The one item that did scan had no information!! Not helpful!!
love the idea of being able to scan products and finding out if they are GF/Vegan/Vegetarian. BUT, there are so many items i scan that are not found.
Loved this app years ago, but I just uploaded again and scanned some basic products. It was incorrect (it said Tofutti contained dairy) and didn't recognize my other products.
Keep saying that the product scanned is not found.. I scanned at least 30 products. Pity, this is just what I need but useless at this moment...
Pretty bad data base. Scanned numerous products and I'm still yet to find one that comes up in their system.
Just started using this scanner, seems like it will be helpful.
I scan four items and the item could not be found for all four of those. . doesn't work.
Like it. Only been using it for a few minutes out of 7 products from either Sam's Club or Krogers it only recognized 3.
Good platform but limited database. Hopefully it will continue to grow.
Haven't been able to scan even one code or add UPC codes. No instructions available.
Terrible. Scanned multiple items and only found 2 products. Kept saying product not found.
so far i like it....its been able to scan everything so far unlike other apps but again only day 2
Doesn't scan everything but it works for most common food stuffs
To hard to work wont scan i waited and waited i fave up.
It seems easier than having to look it up in a book which is good
I love the idea. Most of what i scan is not found. Maybe should allow users to scan and add items. Could use an algorithm that gives a confidence score on the user entered items as other users confirm or reject the input.
