Overall, a really great tool, but the lag is more than a little annoying. When adding pictures or log notes, or even just changing pages, the lag takes several seconds and often makes me wonder if I tapped the button correctly. Aside from that, I really love this app.

5/2022 UPDATE: Would change to negative stars. HORRIBLE lagging. Every click lead to the "not responding" screen with "close or wait" option. EVERY CLICK!!! Super frustrating and makes the app completely unuseable! And it never loads if you select "wait". Maybe it's an Andriod issue?? Original: Great app! Lots of info and just what I need. I have a horribly brown thumb. Lost a star due to slow processing/loading when clicking on anything. "Close or Wait" error code happens a lot for me.

I have been using this app for about half a year now and love it. It is loaded with information and is easy to navigate. Each plant has a section that lets you know the friends & pests, or what not to grow near it, best times to plant, plus more. There is also a feature that allows you to log what plants you have and any notes you may need to add later.

I'm enjoying this app! The dates are accurate, it gives harvesting estimates, and places to log what you have done. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that t has some lag and I have to use a separate app to map out my garden. The other app will also show that I'm placing plants together that are either companion plants of foes. I prefer this app because of the many varieties and accuracy of the dates along with for planting fall harvest. Keep up the excellent job.

The best gardening app I've found BUT it isn't perfect. It frustrates me that it easily acts up on my phone (such as it blanking the screen or taking forever just to type something down after using the app too long or scrolling through it too fast). Another thing is that I can't Manually add everything I have. I wanted to put scallop squash but the closest thing I found was summer squash (zucchini). I'm sure it's similar (I'm a beginner) but I would love to keep it as accurate as possible.

App was super laggy and slow to the point where it would take a full 10 seconds to do a very simple thing. I mean EVERYTHING would take forever to do. Just something like adding a plant to my garden will have like 30 seconds worth of delays. It's a shame because this app looks very useful and like it would fit my needs perfectly as a new gardener but it's just so painfully slow. I use the android version by the way but I don't know if that contributes to it.

I love checking when each plant can be started in my area. Planning out my gstden beds was made easier with the friends and enemies lists. And now with garden plus I can track and record the whole process. The ways each plant can help my health us also very interesting. I just love everything about it. It is easy to use , very informative. The layout is great. I just can't say enough hood things about it

Good concept - better than most others. But the performance is horrible. I tried on three different phones, with android 4 to android 11. They claim it's Google WebView issue but even with old versions the same happens. I tried with Edge browser and the slowness was the same. Only with Chrome browser, the speed fas OK. Many fruits, veggies and varieties are missing from the list. For example, nectarine, sour cherry, Hansen cherry bushes etc. No reminders. Watering, fertilizing... Pro version.

I do like the app set up and all the features but its like moving in slow motion!! Needs to be fixed...when selecting catergories there is a long loading period and trying to change and save a uploaded pic requires way too many steps, you should be able to upload and save to each plant selected and thats it not save to your notes and exit out just to go back in and save again then change and save again! Ive spent 20 min just trying to change the pics...Please fix these issues asap!

I love the possibilities & would love to give five stars; thought and care has gone into it. It lags & resets constantly, I'd normally give an app 2- stars for that, but this app, manages info for me that other garden apps don't. I guess Google has an app bug, but I do have to attempt entering pictures into it 2-15 times before they save, never just once. This started early last year & got worse recently. Pics delete as if nothing has happened after attempting to upload, always. Wastes my time.

Update: entries are back. So far so good. Im going to give this one more go around as per what i thought was a simple learning curve. I spent a few days logging in my new, current, and potential future grows into favs. Then i moved items to the plus that i am growing. I double checked my entries going in and out of the app, so far so good. A week or two later, favs are still logged but garden plus entries disappeared. Update erased? Free status doesnt save over time?

I love this app! I saw the garden notes section wrote a note hit a button and it was gone. can't seem to navigate my way back to garden notes anywhere. Should be more intuitive centralized navigation. Will find it I'm sure. Still Love the app and all it offers. Will keep using it for sure.

Could be a great app, but it has a lot of bugs, most notably, when I try and upload a picture, it never does even tjough it indicates it has. The same goes for updating variety names. System needs many more variety names as well. The apples didn't even have Granny Smith listed.

Update- I'm stil loving this app. It needs a couple things added like edamame and peanuts, but it is a wonderful app! I really like this app. It allows you to add veggies and track planting, sprouting, and harvesting. You can also note where and how many seeds you've sowed. The only reason I am giving it four stars is that I wish it had some information on companion planting (unless I'm missing that info???). Other than that, it's almost perfect!

Used to be great 😥 I used this app all last growing season. It was so helpful. This spring I am trying to use it and all my info is gone. It doesn't recognize my old login. The app keeps stalling and crashing. I'm so bummed that I didn't back up my seed starting and garden info elsewhere.

I'm used to keeping my garden journal Ina notebook. Unfortunately, I'm forgetful and have ended up losing/damaging/giving-up-on those. Now that I'm using this app to keep track of things on my phone, I've been able to grow my garden by leaps and bounds. Tons of useful info in an intuitive format. I'll be sad when it goes to paid Garden+, but I'll probably get that feature too.

Best gardening app out there. I have used dozens of apps before, this is the only one thats good. I hope it stays that way. Minimal adds, no pay stuff. Would be nice for a filter on grow bag size. Seems like all the plants have a grow bag size listed. It would be nice to filter by that. The app has very few glitches.

I love this app! It really helps me keep track of my garden. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because in order to update/add events (like rain or frost) you have to go to each individual plant (unless i missed something). If you have a large garden this would be terrible.

So awesome for organizing all my gardening information. I love that you can automatically see an estimate on when to expect seeds to sprout and when to harvest. I used to write it down in a notebook but this will be easier. One suggestion: add an option to remind when to fertilize. Thanks for creating this fantastic app👩‍🌾

Gardening that is tailored to my specific area- fantastic! Since I've found this app I've been the most successful at Gardening that I've ever been before. I've tested the accuracy and the plant to sprout dates have been spot on! I wish it listed more vegetables but it has a pretty wide variety already. Love it

So far I am happy with this app. Should be good to have information at your fingertips and a log of each plant. It is slow and glitchy when adding pictures. But if you are persistant and don't mind reloading the app from time to time, it will work. This will be the first time my wife and I grow a vegetable garden. This app appears to be helpful. Once we have used it for a whole growing season I will update this review.

BEST APP EVER!!! This app is filled with information regarding, pests, companion plants, harvest time, etc. There's even a spot to add notes to each plant in your garden! Superb app, easy to navigate, free, and good for beginners and adept gardeners! 10/10 recommend. ⭐

The most lagging app I have ever used. Using and helped develop Android apps for 12 plus years. Seems accurate and informative but come on, no need to have so much lag between changing screen's..

I use this app to plan my vegetable garden. It's great! Lots of good info to make garden planning easier! I would love to be able to click on all of the veggies that I want to plant and have the app tell me what order to start my seeds in and which plants should be planted close together (companion planting) and which should be planted further apart. The app has been updated and improved. If you're a gardener, you need this app!

I had to take this off my phone and try to find something else to track my seeds and garden. I absolutely love the idea of this and everything it offers, BUT ever time I try to do anything with adding a plant tomy garden it freezes and crashes. So frustrating and sad .

This app is amazing. I farm and I am on Rumble as GhostBlade. I just talked about this app today for the 1st time. 1) I would love to see a Separate folder for perennial so I can keep up with the harvest on a graph Based on days, months, and years. 2) If I advertise for this app and use the link provided to this app is there away I get $$ asking because have you seen gas prices lately.

Best gardening app I have found. I love how it gives estimates for sprouting, harvesting, etc. I do wish it had more of a grid mode for actually organizing the garden and discussed companion plants, but over all its great!

The app is great for some things and poor for other. There is no button on the home page or even on the menu that routes to "your garden". Also, there are no notifications. Ideally as a new gardener your biggest issue in the beginning is when to do starts, transplant, fertilize, ect. I had thought this would have notifications to help that along. It's a great resource for information and if you don't mind setting your own notifications on a seperate calendar but that can be fairly tedious.

I love that I can organize my garden plans easily, keep track of when I plant, and get helpful notifications of when it's time to start seeds for every season! It saves me so much research time and gives my newbie self the confidence I need to garden for and with my family.

This is the best app I have found for gardening. I love how much information you can find. Garden + is awesome. I am able to plan my layout, plant the seeds, know when to expect germination and harvest, log events, and upload pictures of my progress to the app. There is also a section for recognizing and ridding pests. I didn't give 5 stars because there is a delay after I make a selection in the app before the page loads. I believe they are working on that, though. It seems to affect androids.
