Good app, but my sign up reward of $5 was taken away (expired) after a few days of installing the app. I had no idea there was an expiration date. When I got the expiration warning notification from the app and then openned the app, it was no longer there. Customer support never responded. If customer support ever responds, I'll change my reveiw to more stars.
Food is great. App has major issues. You can add a gift card to the app... But can't pay for an order with that card. Have to checkout manually at store Also, the balance on your gift card is not accurate. App shows one value, the restaurant says something else. Frustrating.
I used to be able to order through the app but now it says Oops! please call the store to order. Its been several weeks since the app worked as intended. Edit: It's the system at my local VG that doesn't work (Mountain View, CA) upgrade star rating for customer service response...but I still can't order... edit: update to 5 stars as everything is working again
Prices don't match the store's pricing. Can't use multiple forms of payment or reload a gift card with a specific value. Can't place an order in advance of store open time. Tipping option only just now added.
They app will magically make balances on your gift card disappear. DO NOT USE APP for gift card purposes. I have lost close to $40 in balances on the app. Ordering is glitchy as well.
In every veggie grill there are signs that say when you download this app you get 5$ off. I downloaded the app and it said I had 5$ off but when I proceeded to pay for my order it took NOTHING OFF. when I went inside they said there was nothing they could do and the app was weird. FIX YOUR APP. because your cupoun didn't work we had to try to get a refund what a mess. poor customer service, app doesnt work with store.
Primary issues: 1. The redeem flow is needlessly confusing, can I redeem at point of order or not? I tried to but since I think I hit redeem before I started my order the only way to actually redeem it would be in store. Wasted rewards on this. 2. Online orders are weirdly segmented from the app.
App is hopeless. Coupons don't reflect in final price. Menu items fall under non-intuitive categories. A work in progress.
New app v3.1.3 won't even open! It installs fine but once you click OPEN it just keeps buffering indefinitely. I can't even log in!
Used for the first time today. ordered salad, easy enough... the store had a sign for $10 credit, the app just said $5. Neither amount was credited to my order. Am I missing something?
Doesn't accept new credit card info even if I use Google pay. I end up just calling the store and placing my order and paying at the counter, which renders this app useless.
Super buggy and crashes, tech support never emails me back. Customer service could not help me access my gift card so I could not use the money I put on it.
Just like others stated v3.1.3 doesn't open. UPDATE: Got a new phone Pixel 5 running Android 11, VG app 3.4 - still won't open. Veggie Grill has good food but crappy devs.
v3.1.3 just hangs Tried uninstalling and reinstalling it still hangs. Cannot add more rewards or use existing rewards because of this issue.
The app would not let me sign up it kept giving me error code 1020....other that that I can still use it to find veggie grills on the built in gps
There is no option to use your gift card balance to pay for a mobile order made in the app. What is the point of having this app or the gift card if I can't do that?
The app won't even open on my Pixel 4 XL. I have full bars / connected to the internet.
Receipt offered $8 credit for downloading the app which did not happen when downloading. False advertising.

Terrible App. Glitchy, titally dysfunctional. I had to CALL Veggie Grill like a knuckle dragging neanderthal. What is this, 2014??
User friendly and has a great incentive to buy.
I love the food and the people are very friendly, by the second time I went they knew my name amazing 👏
I have used this app to order from VG in the past several months, & I have had very little to no issues compared to previous experiences which were negative. The only issue I have is with adding notes to order, & how certain rewards & promotions are redeemed which I have passed on because of the inconvenience. However, this is a major improvement, & I appreciate when app developers make necessary improvements based on end user experiences. Thank you!
