It works. That's it. Not happy about several things: the light doesn't save a default colour/state when you turn it on, the buttons to control the colour don't make sense (brightness is fine, the one which is supposed to control contrast resets my colour choice and seems to change colour temperature?). It takes forever to connect to the bulb too. This can be improved a lot. /Edit The app is broken. The resolution is broken. Icons are extremely big and can't do anything. Please fix it.

Fantastic concept, superb range of lighting options. The only way this is let down is the accessibility of the app to switch moods, I feel a widget would accompany the app really well. This would cut out the faff of opening the app every time you turn the light on. I use the bulb in my bedroom and often use it right before sleeping, an option to change the default light setting to a different mood would be very beneficial.

Like so many others who used to love the Veho lighting app, ever since I upgraded my phone to Galaxy Note 10+ 5G, the program no longer works. I've tried multiple adjustments in my settings to get it to work, but to no avail. I've reached out to Veho for technical support but they never responded. Needless to say, I'm very disappointed. This was once an amazing app. Now it's just junk.

The app was great when it worked; simple & functional and I absolutely love having a rainbow selection of colours and brightness at my fingertips, with the bonus of turning the light off in bed. Now, unfortunately as a Google Pixel 2 user, since the last update (Android 10 I believe) the app no longer works. I've made attempts to report it & emailed the developers but they clearly do not read their emails. I sincerely hope this issue is sorted soon so I can give this app the review it deserves.

Originally I was very happy with this product, the lights were cool, being able to set the colour to match my room was very exciting. However I went away for my first year at uni and upon coming back I found that I no longer had the app. I came back to re-download and I am severely disappointed and annoyed. The app no longer works, it will not even open on my phone anymore. I can't change the colour of any of my Veho Kasa lights, and my new ones are a waste of money and time.

I've had trouble with the app since the new update on Android 10. Did the upgrade on the bulbs with older version phone and followed all instructions. Still the new version won't open,,, reloaded the app and tried again. This is beyond aggravating. Expensive fail. This has been 6 months from the android update,,, not very speedy with the fix. One star.

Neg: App takes ages to start (often sticks on 19% so need to restart app = bit of a bug). Turning on/off lights is a faff - dedicated remote would be better. Traditional light switch is genius by comparison, but users loose functionality. Ah well. Pos: Timer options useful for night light. Different colours/dimming option. Can give bulbs names to identify quickly. Best use - lights on timers. Energy saving. Worst use - every day turning light and on/off .

The last time this app was updated was over 9 months ago, the app only works if you haven't recently used it on another device recently(and even when it works it takes a while to load), and my strand of lights has started changing colors at random😕 Given how long it's been since the latest app update, I can't help but wonder if that's because they've abandoned a product that wasn't ready for the public🤷‍♂️

Up until I updated my phone to android 10 it worked 95% of the time. Was functional, fun to use and easy to access. Now the app won't open at all on the same phone. Reinstalling the app dosnt work. It just closes. It's not bulb firmware. It an app comparability issue. Works fine up to android 10. Of your still on earlier android versions and need this to work do not update.

UPDATE: I am not able to run the app since new android 10 was installed one day ago. Reinstallation does not help. I am using this product almost a year now. The app is slow, not very user friedly or intuitive. Setting the schedule was horrible and it took me an hour. Fading used to work only if set to few minutes and now it suddenly stop to respond and fade is not possible to set at all. It is pity that the app is that bad because the bulb is quite nice

Honestly one of the poorest functioning apps I have ever encountered. Multiple major bugs rendering it unusable for weeks at a time. Then when the bug is fixed it works fine for a short period of time until another problem arises. Currently I constantly receive an error saying my devices Bluetooth is not on even though it IS on.

Doesn't work on Android 11, Pixel 4XL. Devs think that the problem of "the app can't even spawn its window without crashing” is instead a problem with bulb firmware. They just don't seem to care. They seem to ignore repeated inquiries, and it hasn't been updated in almost 2 years. Still works on my old Android 9 phone. So I'm not totally SOL, but now I can't sell this expensive light-switch. I'm looking for/into a way to reverse-engineer these bulbs with IFTTT. Will edit here if I can find it.

Bought the bulb and downloaded the app late 2018 and worked fine, but no longer does. App doesn't even open. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling but nothing. Glad I hadn't spent any money since, because by the looks of things a lot of people are having similar problems and the developers aren't helping at all. It's a big sad that they no longer care about their work or business.

This is my new review of this app. Once again the app has ceased working. The app itself is full of unnecessary stuff all over the place. Navigating to the bulb colour settings is unnecessarily difficult, it should be the front page not the last page. The colour wheel is terrible. Sure theres a lot of colours on there but can you even tell the difference? No. As well as that changing the darkness of the colour doesn't work, it just makes it white again. A terrible app and a terrible product.

Edited: connection issues all resolved themselves! works perfectly again and has done for aaaages. One function I think the lights/app could do with is the ability to make it automatically cycle through chosen colours or the full spectrum (not the schedule, more like mood lighting) Now that would be groovy!!

It was doing before but after a few months now all of the icons are super zoom. I cannot control the brightness and the contrast. All I can do is on and off. Im still hoping that they can fix the issues or maybe they already abandoned this project and forget about it

My app worked for a while however I upgraded my phone to the Oneplus 7 Pro, and the app atill worked for about a month, but has now quit working since the newest update for the phone. When starting the app it says "App keeps stopping" and no matter what I do it seems to not work anymore. Rating 3 stars for its performance previously but until this is fixed it will stay that way.

I had a similar experience, where it wouldn't find the bulb, even though it worked before, I also had the permission turned on, I finally got it working by going into my phone's Bluetooth settings and attempting to pair it to the bulb, while it was doing that I reopened the app and it connected just fine.

Something broke recently. Had the app since may, well after the February update. Same as others , the icons are all enlarged and the app is unusable in it's current state. I'll plug it in and see if I can capture logs later, but for now it's a real pain.

The app worked perfectly at first but is now totally unusable. I've uninstalled it and reinstalled but it didn't help. App opens to a screen that is to large for my phone. It seems to try to connect but I'm only guessing because I can't see what's going on. Why is this still not fixed???????????????

Seems random whether or not the app connects to the lights even when I'm in the same place each time. Also all the features scale differently on each start up, sometimes one of the buttons will take up 75% of the screen, utterly useless at times

had issues with the app where it was completely enlarged and ususable when before it had been a great app and i got a developer response explaining the issue and that the bugs had been fixed. i redownloaded the app to take a look and sure enough, everything was back to how it had been before. i have deleted my previous review since its no longer relevant or helpful for the app. i can use my lightbulb again :)

I discovered the app still works on iPhone but not android. Unfortunately I have an android app worked fine for over a year and now it just does not work anymore I in uninstalled it and reinstalled it and cleared my cache but it will not work still I've reached out to customer service and have heard nothing back. Now reading other reviews and it's happening to everyone. Veho Kasa please reboot your servers!! If the problem persists than look to see what was recently installed and uninstall it.

For some reason on open, the entire UI is extremely zoomed in, it worked the last time I used it. Would love to see a fix pushed out. Edit: bug was fixed pretty quickly, so stars go back to 5 Edit 2: app won't even open now. Haven't been fixed in ages, too.
