I've used this app for years w/out isue; however, since the last update the mobile deposit no longer works. I uninstall & reinstall & it will work once, then I have to unistall & reinstall again. this is a business account & if I need to deposit 10 checks, then I have to uninstall & reinstall the app 10 times. This is hardly efficient. Extremely disappointed & frustrated with this app. Even more disappointed in the lack of a timely response. Many issues have been reported w/out resolution!
So, I've been a huge fan of this app for years but for the last month or so it's been very unresponsive. I did a redownload several times and my connection is perfectly fine....not that that is relevant because it doesn't work anywhere. lol. Please fix this issue, I'd like to change my review to 5 stars.
My prior experience with the mobile app has been to date great. We have been members for more than thirty years, even before the current mobile app. This new update is scary. I am not sure if it is the app or business process which I believe the app is representative of. I tried to now use the old app, which I believed is the new app, but can't until I update. I started having problems right away. Why perform a major bank update in the middle of a pandemic where we can't talk without a 66 min.
App worked great till all of a sudden it didn't. Won't even open. Uninstalled and reinstalled, and still nothing. Cannot use mobile deposit unless you can get the app to work. Endless circle of fristration. Will be changing credit unions to one where the app actually meets my needs.
This app make life so much simpler. I honestly don't know what life would be like if I didn't have it anymore. Managing my funds is easy, moving things from account to account is seamless and the security notifications are highly appreciated. One of my favorite features creating additional temp accounts when I have savings goals that need their own buckets. Once the goal is met & funds go out, I'm able to delete the temp account. Another fave is the memo feature, helps me clearly note outgoing $
I installed the App so I could deposit checks without going to a branch. But that feature does not work as I get a message asking me to install the Velocity Mobile App. When I click on the link to install the App, I get a "Try again message, link not found." I am obviously using the App to attempt to make a deposit in the first place. I've been using Velocity as my bank for over 15 years, but I'm seriously considering closing my accounts and using a bank/credit union that has a functioning phone App. Every banking institution should have a mobile App that works in the 2020s. This is a major fail.
Can't use mobile check deposit. just continually resets to login screen.. Really can't use app for anything except checking balance, if even that. pretty much everything just kicks me back to login screen. really, really frustrating.
The app usually works, but lately the mobile deposit option doesn't show up in the menu. I used it for months for a weekly deposit, no issues. Then one day it just disappeared.
This app has gone down hill and is beyond ridiculous. Every single time that I do a mobile deposit, it takes me longer than 2 minutes, it's literally, more like 45 mins because every single picture is blurry even when it's really not. This app is a joke, not my comment. Please fix these bugs.
Can no longer access mobile banking, I get to the access code screen and then cannot get either option, call/email, to work. Tried to uninstall and reinstall app with no change in the results. Sane process works seemlessly from my desktop and laptop.
camera for doing mobile deposits is terrible. keep having to uninstall app then reinstall. Half a year later... I still have to uninstall and reinstall the app in order to do a single mobile deposit, even if I'm doing multiple at the same time, I have to do that between each one. Velocity, what's going on???
I have to uninstall and reinstall the app almost everyday to log in. No matter if Im on home wifi, work wifi, LTE it'll continue to spin and never log in. Issue seems to fix itself after I uninstall but its getting very irritating to have to do this so often.
This app does not work with my Samsung. I have tried everything from taking out the battery to reinstalling the app several times. Can you be more specific as to when this app will be up and running.
Since the latest update, this app has a hard time to login, keep try but never connects. Have to uninstall and reinstall then it will work once or twice. Never had this problem until Velocity app update.
Man I do not usually leave reviews but considering the whiney ones I read as I updated I just had to say what an amazing app this is! It literally has never failed me and the updates I just installed have made the whole process more smooth and it looks much better. Cleaner and easier to see what's going on. Awesome job devs.
Biometrics feature doesn't work and I don't log in enough to remember my password so I have to CALL every single time to have my password reset. Very annoying. But I am glad I can transfer money to another bank account easily.
Even worse with the 2021 update, freezes every single time I try. It used to work great, but one day last year just stopped working, it can't open. I have Sony Xperia Z1ultra phone
Been using this app for 2+ years and never had any doubts. All around a solid app and works fine. I use it in combination with Samsung Pass and it lets me in to my account with 1 finger scan reliably.
We should be able to report lost/stolen cards via the app. I have two bank accounts & my other bank offers a whole lot more features on the app. This is even less than basic.
I like the old system better this new one doesn't allow me to see my remaining balance by text. I always have to go to the app. It's annoying and inconvenient!!!!
Worst website ever. Always has been. Just as awful as the last one. Always a network issue. Takes 4 or 5 times to open every single time I try. I wish I could give negative stars
Used to be a decent app. Now it crashes, freezes and never works. Absolutely terrible! Will be looking at other avenues
Mobile deposit not working well today. Trying to deposit 2 amended tax return refunds and it won't accept the second even though amounts and reference numbers are different. Have already endorsed both for mobile deposit in my velocity account.
I have used this app for a year, now I am unable to login anymore. It went from 4 stars to 1 stars (only because 0 stars isn't an option). The new update is horrible!
Since the update I am unable to login. I'm having difficulty checking my account and even when I went to the actual Velocity website to login I am not given my balance information only my transaction information.
In the description, it specifies mobile check deposits. I, however, cannot mobile deposit. In the past I've had the same issue, but then the option magically appears out of the blue. Is there some way to fix this glitch?
After many multiple attempts to make a simple check deposit, the app kept saying "Deposit Failed". I don't have enough spare room on my phone for an app that DOES NOT WORK!
after last update Mobile deposit feature has disappeared from my application. This is a very important function and needs to be corrected or rolled back.
This app has been a waste of my time. The main reason I installed it was the use of mobile check deposit. Every check I've deposited with one exception has required resubmission. They always get kicked back for unusable image. When I spoke with customer service regarding one of them, I was informed the image they get is really blurry. Everything looks fine on my end but there's no way to enlarge the picture beyond thumbnail size for closer scrutiny. Not a knock on Velocity, just the app.
