if I'm paying for DirecTV and i want to use the app to watch a show, why do i have to endure 8 to 10 commercials? this is a shame! I uninstalled the app after waiting 5 minutes of commercials. one can't watch the shows if one doesn't suscribe. this system is not user friendly. nobody wants to watch those commercials if they repeat twice in a raw and it's longer than the original broadcast. commercials volume is 3 times Lauder!

motortrend is ruining velocity. I pay 187.00 a month for cable, velocity go was free. Motortrend is trying to charge me. doing away with cable asap. #dealbreaker still charging for an app that was free with my cable provider, not paying extra for an app that was free prior. Velocity never did that only motortrend. rip velocity. Will be glad to see motortrend ratings continue to drop.

love the shows but.....hate the damn commercials. login under my.cable subscribing and get bombarded with commercials commercials commercials. I feel like I watch more.commercials then actual tv. I am getting real close to just cutting my cable and ditch this BS altogether. I will watch some commercial but 300 seconds worth. hell no. the commercials on hulu are not nearly as bad.

It says it can Chromecast, but it constantly screws up commercial breaks causing the viewer to miss the show. It also randomly gives notice that a show is one streamable when you're in the middle of watching it. Horrible experience.

Bad app constantly freezes, or just shutsdown. Sit thru 5 minutes of comercials for it to freeze then restart the show watch the same comercials and it freezes again! Great content just cant watch it due to crashing atleast 5 times in a hour long show.

Went thru hassle of signing in with phone to watch on my TV only to discover that my cable plan isn't top tier so i cant access all the content. If i wanted to pay to watch I wouldn't need a smart tv, phone or other smart devices only top tier cable TV. Defeats purpose making this app useless

Worked great... for a day. Then it just keeps shutting down. Junk. And yes, everything is properly signed into and set up. The old app worked flawlessly.

If you have a cable or satellite subscription, this is the app you are looking for. Content is very limited, thus the 3 stars. I will update this review if full seasons of old Top Gear get added.

If I wanted to watch commercials every 4 minutes of a show, I'd turn the television on. Almost no use in this app, unless you're in the middle of a lake and desperate to watch commercials for Moog and Banking.

Despite the other comments there don't seem to be any more ads than watching the cable channel, they're part of life, nothing to loose sleep over. Edit: After watching some more shows on MT Go I'll have to agree with the other reviews, on some of them the amount of ads is ridiculous.

this is totally misleading,as they advertise to watch all your favorite shows of motor trend on tv according to the information provided,but you cannot.You have to line your laptop or mobile device to your television..if you your device does not have this capability,you are screwed.the advertisement leads you to believe that you will be able to view it using your remote,which you cannot do.i feel this is false advertising,as many devices don"t have this capability,and if it does,you have do jump through hoops to watch it on your television.Had I been aware of this,I would not have purchased their special offer.There is not a single word said that you must do this,you are led to believe it will be added to your guide list.If you do not own a smart TV,then you are are forced to watch your favorite motor trend show through your phone,or laptop

The app on roku works great, BUT.... I have access through xfinity. If I exit the app for more than a few hours, I need to set up again. I've uninstalled and still no luck

Only works if you pay a lot top cable, what a scam!!!!!! Don't waste your time with this app. Most of the shows are locked.

60% advertising. Disconnects frequently in sync with commercials. Too bad the devs won't fix. DEVS! - you should take a lesson from History Go. Sad.

response ro dev: reputable developers don't spam users without permission and force users to take action to get rid of spam that the user never consented to receive. I would give this app zero stars if I could based on the reply received. spams notification bar without permission. trashy app

signed in to watch FIA WEC race after they cut it off on TV to show reruns of shows that are basically infomercials... even after I signed in, couldn't find it... uninstalling so watching FIA WEC is not possible in the United States, they geo-block & send people to MotorTrend, but MotorTrend doesn't have it, only highlights

This is now a pay service. When I installed it a few weeks back I was able to watch some shows. I came back to continue to watch, and they are all locked... junk...

If I want to pick up a day later and start a show from where I paused it, i have to attempt to approximate where I paused it, and then what 20 minutes of commercials, every commercial from the beginning of the show. Srly? EMA

As an Gearhead, I can't complain as I have multiple shows about finding, fixing and enjoying cars and bikes. Velocity App is wonderful.

App still will not let me sign in with my FiOS TV package after the recommendation from deceloper. There is no error message just says can't watch because it's not part of tv package even tho it is

Way too many commercials. It is abusive. If it causes me to actually take time out of my day to rate your stupid app, its bad.

I have MotorTrend as a part of my Spectrum service. I signed into the MTgo app using my Spectrum credentials and I get a message saying that I don't have MotorTrend.

App has stopped loading. Stuck on intro screen. Gave up after 5 minutes.

DirecTV subscription gives you a handful of crappy shows with loads of commercials. Not worth it.
