Ventoo for Pebble - Bike GPS
Ventoo is a GPS cycle computer for your Pebble smart watch. It uses your phone's GPS to send speed, distance and altitude data to your Pebble. You can also see your track directly on your Pebble.
You can upload your track to Strava or Runkeeper from the menu or automatically at the end of the track.
If you got a Bluetooth LE (4.0) Heart Rate Monitor (HRM) or Cycling Speed and Cadence (CSC), you can also display your heart rate and your cadence on your Pebble. Please note it does not work with "classic" bluetooth.Heart rate zones with alarms are available on your Pebble.
Ventoo also has an innovative auto start feature which will auto start the bike computer on your watch when it detects you are riding a bike, using low battery technology Ventoo checks your activity every 30 seconds, so low power in fact you can leave this switched on all day.
Ventoo has a Live Tracking function that sends your position every 30 seconds to the internet. If you're using it with your friends, it can receive theirs positions and display them with your own track, directly on your Pebble.
First time you use Ventoo you will need to install the watch face for your Pebble. Just click on the "Install button" in the settings.

Who needs a Garamin when you have a pebble. Great app. Strava upload works flawlessly. If it could report to Pebble health, and if there was a way to import and navigate a route it would be pretty perfect. Great work.
Works exactly as expected. Easy to read and customizable interface. Uploads to Strava without any issue.
It's not just a bike speedometer, it works everywhere. I've had it showing >1100km/hr in a plane. Doesn't work to good mountainbiking in a dense forest but that is the gps s fault, not the apps!

It works just fine to be generally happy with it..... But would like a share option incl map for social networks?
After first use the app keeps crashing when going to settings menu on Pebble. Kyocera DuraForce, Andr. vers. 4.4.2
I uninstalled it for a while, then just recently got back into it. It now has a bug where I need to have my phone screen on for it to work. Whenever I turn the screen off, the app stops working on my pebble.
Great App. Displays all the info I need on my pebble then after the ride I can export to GPX and import to wherever I want.
I wish I could sync straight to run keeper from within the app. It'd also be great if I could get it to find my duotrap s cadence and speed sensor.
Thank you so so much for the max speed option. This is everything I could want on a watch / cycling app.
Ventoo has come a very long way from its humble beginnings. I really like the new interface and customisable watchapp. I'm not sure why it says "GPS started" after I reboot though... Also, a Lollipop-compatible icon would be nice =) Cheers
Good app but still can not find how to export gpx file. Every time i try i have got a message "This operation is not supported". Disappointed.
Works perfectly with the phone screen both on and off. All the options I could want and more.
Exported my ride in gpx and nothing there what a waste of time
Work well with GPS and OruxMaps upto GPS limitations. The only thing it is missing is Bluetooth Smart cadance and speed senor support. That would make the app perfect. Particularly if there was a way to disable GPS and just use the sensor.
App worked beautifully until the latest update. Now, it won't register speed at all.
Post the firmware update to 2.4, ths watchapp keeps on crashing... Devs are u listening
I love the idea of having all the data I need on my wrist and my expensive phone safely in my backpack while I mountain bike. This app does what it says.
