This app works for me, never have had a problem with it
Although I'm a paid subscriber, I'm required to sign in each time I open the app. There is no log in menu at the top or bottom of the page. Using account settings, I signed in and app still won't let me read more than 3 articles. Should I cancel my subscription ?
This app used to allow you to read specific public articles (not listed as subscriber only). Now, it does not allow you to read anything without a subscription. This is one of the only media outlets for Ventura County presenting news on public works projects and coronavirus updates. Has your public policy changed?
Q1. Why do I pay to subscribe and the aap constantly forgets that I am already a paid subscriber? Q2. Why when I have a paid subscription I am now being limited in reading anything from the VCsite? Q3. Why when others have disclosed their issues does the Ventura Star not provide any type of response?
This app is one of those the is very confusing to use. I've subscribed to the Same for 20 years. I just want my paper format on a screen. This doesn't do that.
Fails to have the capability to "flip the pages" as in the online edition on a computer. No satisfaction.
had this app for years and now they want me to pay monthly to be able to read up on the news in my area. No thanks I'll stick to my other sources and pages that are free. This app used to be free but now I cant see any new article without paying.
ONCE AGAIN, I updated the app because it said it wouldn't work if I didn't. ONCE AGAIN, It has gone from an app I used regularly to one that will not even open.
Works fine but needs a dark mode option; white text on black background.
Horrible app. Does not work and keeps saying pw is wrong. Online sign is just as fussy and gives sign in errors.
Usually will not load They charge fee .. I paid for over 2 yrs and call many times to re solve but their customer service peoplee could not help
Paper is to be porched, since 2004!. This last year I have had the paper porched ONE time. I only get paper on Sundays! LOWSY CARRIER! NO one EVER brings out missed paper, though PROMISED each time! Waste since Scripps sold. 1page of local news and cannot get a paper NEAR our porch (EASY). WE NEED A REAL LOCAL PAPER
I enjoy having the star on my phone it would be nice if some how we could have the digtal coupons from sunday paper downloaded to to ok our phone
All of a sudden it has forgotten that I'm a subscriber. I'm not paying twice. Please fix this.
This app is aggravating garbage. A total insult. VC star can keep their news. I'm not about to work so hard to get it and pay for it too.

App is "down" most of the time when I try to use it. Modified review. App is almost useless. Can't find account info on it, and regular website isn't responding. I'm about to cancel altogether.
