Verge Tor Wallet for Android

Very good wallet, took awhile to get it working but the easiest way is to make sure you are on 4g LTE, THEN set orbit to VPN and bridge. AFTER your wallet has some coins it works on WIFI also just fine. maybe a coding bug, dev should update. Remember TOR itself is super slow so don't blame on the app. But works quite fast like I said AFTER you have some coins. Send just a few coins to test first. Working on Galaxy S10.

this is a terrible wallet. I haven't been able to successfully connect to my wallet. it always says down and not connected. I have xvg on exchange and want to bring it to my wallet. This shouldn't be hard to use! you should invest time into solving this problem!!! from reading most of the feedback it's a common problem! please investigate and fix it . this will also improve xvg price !!!

I transferred some verge a few months ago. All seemed okay. My balance is now showing 00 and message states not connected. I have emailed asking for help and had no response. Thankfully it wasn't a massive amount but very disappointing.

Wallet works good. You must install Orbot, once installed click on "Tor Enabled Apps" setting (gear icon) and select Verge. Make sure you start Orbot and have an active TOR connection before starting the Verge wallet. I also suggest enabling the "Use Bridges" switch on Orbot. If the wallet displays "No Connection" close everything (Orbot and Verge) and start again. FYI there's currently a new wallet in development that will eliminate the need for Orbot.

Holding Verge since late 2017, got over 500,000 coins and it was once major coin in my portfolio but since then its price drop 99% . Decided not to sell and today double up position at cheap price. Do faith that it will go back to respectable heights. Lots of people giving 1 star do not understand purpose of this coin. To maintain privacy you need to download Orbit app and turn it on. So transfer can stay anonymous. If you do not turn on Orbit then this app will show 0 balance.

So glad I only transferred 10 verge before moving the rest. The 10 verge transferred successfully and stayed in the wallet for a week before disappearing completely and not showing in my balance. So glad this happened before i transferred the rest of my verge. Do not use this wallet

This wallet is designed to run through the Tor network. You must install and run the Orbot App for Android before running the XVG wallet or you will get a "no connections" error. 1. Install and start up Orbot. 2. On the bottom of Orbot you'll see "Tor enabled apps". Select it and add the XVG wallet from the app list under VPN mode. 3. With Orbot connected to the Tor network, start the Verge wallet. 4. Profit!

This wallet is superb. Must use with TOR, and relies on a connection, (like any other app). The best, most secure digital wallet, for the best currency around. Vergecurrency!

I transferred my verge wallet from bittrex to this wallet. the funds showed up for a split second and then vanished somehow my balance is at zero. and it wont show any history and no customer support to reach. I had approximately 80,000 verge coins and now nothing....

BEST SCAM WALLET EVER. I put over two thousand verge coins on this wallet to keep with me and make sure they were safe. All was well for about a month. I decide to check my balance today and like magic the coins are gone. BALANCE IS ZERO. To the developer of this wallet, karma is a mother. So ANYONE thinking about using this wallet, DON'T.

This wallet looks about 1000% nicer on iOS and has a way more functional layout. This looks like a beta compared to the iOS version.

I never received my coin and now its not excepting my pin either. Stuck on page asking for my pin. The last digit wont take ,still original pin. I checked my wallet online its there but can't transfer them to another Verge Address? Frustrated.

Constant no connection, the toggle VPN "fix" does not work, have only seen my balance once.

They're not even aware that ORBOT VPN mode isn't going to work because ORBOT don't work since the switch

i was able to recover and unlock my wallet, but when i tried to send i get a "broadcasting transaction error

Balance and all works and shows only if you have ORBIT tor turned on since it runs on that network. How fat is you cloud-wallet?

Terrible wallet. Cannot connect. The coin is a Scam. Not private or fungible at all.

why can't you make it run on its own like any other app without that stupid VPN you call tor or choose another vpn

Can i still recover my 1000pcs XVG? It cannot connect to server, even i already have TOR VPN and all. It says no connection

Switched from iPhone Wallet to Android Wallet and now all my verge is gone!!! I have made several points of contact and nothing!

Advise against this. Inconsistent as it stands with the connection fading in and out at random perhaps to do with busy server. Will rate higher once it is more inconsistent. The irregular access has been an annoyance, it is now a cost. Find another way. Do not buy if you want easy access using a Samsung s8 here

I send about 1000 verge to try. It shows up with the Vpn active. Then the day after with the vpn open , verge always say no connection with a 0 balance. Even if i follow instructions with orbot. Very disappointed.I can see only my balance on the blockchain Explorer. But i cannot move the coin no more. _------ Edit 2 days after their network came back. Token are now showing.

I almost rated this app a zero when I initially use it. What happened was, the day after I successfully transferred my XVG from Bittrex to my newly created wallet, when I woke up the following morning and re-launch the Verge Android app, ALL MY XVG COINS ARE GONE, the received address I used for the transaction was showing unused. Then I recall the note regarding about the the other app, the Orbot. After following the instructions, chaching..! All XVG coin balances re-appear. Nicely done.

It worried me on Christmas, kept showing no connection and I set up orbit. I did a small 10 verge transfer and it never showed up. Today I realized maybe I entered the address wrong. It said error in withdraw history on binance. So I transferred another 5 today. Then confirmed it in my email. Now it is finally showing all close to 15 verge in my wallet finally..
