Reading reviews for the new app, this app seems like the one to have. I've been using it for easily over 2 years now and once you understand what it can and can't do, the app is awesome. No complaints. I get to watch on demand tv shows, live tv, and my DVR. Definitely won't be switching to the "updated" app bc once you do you can't go back
I gave Verizon several months to almost a year to update the app in the hope that it would finally work. Well that never happened, it just keeps saying preparing to stream (I gave it one time 5 minutes to download the show).I only downloaded it so I could watch the shows I DVR while I had some downtime at work. Uninstalling!
Horrible app technical support useless. Then called service to go through a full five minutes of various roadblocks and have been on an additional 25 minutes of hold. They came out to fix my Fios TV and internet, I have two tvs that aren't working at all, cannot access On Demand on another, the other tv is giving spotty reception on pay channels and I am still on hold. At this point what an I paying for? comcast is looking better every day.
Was told I would be able to stream the app to a tv with Chromecast or Amazon Fire Stick by Verizon sales people so I wouldn't have to get multiple boxes. The App supports neither function unless you broadcast your whole phone display to Chromecast at a low resolution. You still need multiple boxes for multiple tv's. They will lie to you to get you to sign a contract.
Its terrible it never works always says there is a problem. When they had the first app is was great, but as soon as they updated it never works. Very dissatisfied. Pay $233 a month for service and the mobile app is trash. Sent them a request to fix the problem and they never got back to me.
Not working anymore. It just tells me I need to update the app, but no update is offered. I reinstalled it twice and it still has the same error message. I have a Samsung Galaxy s8 plus
I use this App, while commuting back and forth traveling to and from home and work. Works Great But at times some channels have a hard time connecting. News and Movies Works Best For Me.
I like the app.But it would be nice if it would realise the news channel I watch and have it appear at the top when I open the app I hate cnn and MSNBC I only watch foxnews so it should appear at the to of the list if possible otherwise I do like the convenience of being able to get my news on the go and being able to watch TV on my phone.
It has its shortcomings 1. is you can't watch any NFL games outside of your house or your home network 2. you can't watch any movies or shows live if you're overseas. Other than that it's great for use in the home when the kids have commandeered every other television
I get the same error every time I try to open the app. I send emails as prompted but no reply from Verizon. Garbage app, garbage support.
it's good majority of the time, it's only good near Wi-Fi or with Wi-Fi. Outside of that, you'll have a problem trying to get it to operate properly.
Doesn't work. Keep getting same message about network issues, email them and nothing. Terrible. I'm switching to a different provider.
Incredibly difficult to get help. You spend a lot of time listening to computers and then waiting for a actual person.
Tried to use on Galaxy note 8.This app freezes and shuts down every time I try to use it. It wasn't always like that. Please fix.
Constantly is turning off...losing picture just getting audio or app is unavailable for extended periods of time
Great app... I get network issues every now and then but i have a Samsung galaxy 6 so I guess a phone this old is gonna have some problems. overall very satisfied with this app.
Usability could be improved and I can't figure for the life of me what can be viewed in the phone and what can't be. Performance is actually pretty good.
Very helpful and convenient. However, I would like to see a better search component.
Why does it insist on managing my phone calls? I only need it to stream content. Don't ask for permissions that are unnecessary.
I have been messing with this app for more than an hour now! My experience, don't even bother INSTALLING it!

Channels freeze often. I have to turn off than on to work.
A lifesaver app.. Great for travel and even when the power is out at home..
It always says can't retrieve information. Try back later. It's been like this over 2 months now.

No longer supported by Verizon. You'll get a notice if you try to open it, so why is it still offered here?
Everytime I try to watch on my phone it takes me back to the sign on or open app screen. 3x now
This is the old app. From what I understand is much better and more reliable than the new app. Until they get the Kinks out you might want to be careful about switching it the other reviews are accurate. The only thing I don't like about the old app is the organization of the channels and what shows are currently on. Should be in a more organized fashion it seems a bit chaotic.
