Verizon My Numbers

DO NOT USE THIS APP!! The app does not allow me to authenticate the account to login because it says too many attempts. I have walked through clearing the cache, resetting, updating, uninstalling, and installing. No help. Verizon said they would solve it within 10 days. That was over a month ago.

Unable to install - trying to install to test the app on my phone...fold z3...it stopped after it stated the app needed additional permissions.

Reasonable way of adding a 2nd or 3rd number without the expense of an extra phone. Call quality is fine and on a par with my main number. The app does have one significant shortcoming however. Even though I've gone through the settings six ways from Sunday, the notification dot does not show up for missed calls, text messages, or voicemail. I need to open the app on a pretty regular basis throughout the day to see if I've missed anything. The app is seriously crippled by this bug.

Easy setup and works... can be a little sluggish at times. Needs group chat features. with Google moving to Night/dark themes, that could be beneficial for me as well. (edit) after 2 months of use, ive noticed voice can be inconsistent when on wifi. Notification for missed calls arent always shown in notification bar. If I missed a call I have to have the app open to see it. Would love for it to be like the system default missed call.(edit) somehow all of my msgs and calls were deleted.

The notifications never appear like they're supposed to and I've missed texts I've been waitong for. Also - is there a reason it's so horribly ugly and clunky looking? You'd think it could look more professional and streamlined... I don't know... Maybe like the other primary line's text and phone app...?? It's almost embarrassing to pull up the app and use in front of someone, it's so barebone looking. I'd love to use it more and was going to add another line, but until I can rely on it, nope

This app is useless. Drops all calls after 1 minute, tech support is unresponsive after requesting call logs to address this AND after a follow-up email I sent that they hadn't responded to the logs I sent. Sends texts just fine, but I signed up for this app as a business number, not a text service. Tech supports lack of response is the most infuriating part, especially from one of, if not THE, biggest telecom company on the planet. Highly unrecommended.

Does not send OUT text. Have tried everything, spent an hour and 15 minutes on the phone with tech department and they couldn't fix it either.

At first, it wasnt working for me until I figured out it was my permissions. Once I adjusted my permissions, it started working beautifully and has continued to do so.

Terrible. The app immediately drops a call if another call or text comes in on the main phone. No option to hold, it just immediately drops the call. It's pretty embarrassing when I'm on a business call that just stops. I'm porting my number to Zoom Phone and deleting this app. I called Verizon and I can't even port it onto my dual sim Samsung so I can use a service like Zoom or port it over to T-Mobile.....great job Verizon.

Would really like for this to work as I set it up for a business I am establishing. Call quality is consistently inconsistent. Notifications are frequently delayed. Often times I try to dial a number and it says a call can't be placed at this time... I've lost new customers because the app was not functioning properly and they were prompted with a message saying the number had been disconnected... worst part is I had this new number put on all my business cards.

Was excited at the prospect of having just one phone to carry, but this app doesn't let you use your existing Verizon phone numbers. Also doesn't let you select the last 4 digits of the number, so can't cancel the existing line and add it here. Other than that I couldn't say whether or not this app works. Might be ok if you planned on starting from scratch with a new number.

This app is horrible. I never had a clear communication with my customers. I have contacted Verizon numerous times about the problems. They have no solutions for me. I'm trying to transfer this phone number over to business platform through Verizon and no one in the Verizon department can even figure out how to transfer this phone number. My understanding is it is ran through a separate service company known as onvoy. Has anyone tried to transfer their phone number out of this app?

I love the concept but execution of the product is poor. Texts will not come in if I am on the phone. All calls drop if a call comes through on my primary phone number. A weird digital feedback almost always occurs when talking. The idea of carrying one phone is great but execution of this is poor.

I installed the app but when I put in my phone it said my Verizon phone number since 1998 wasn't allowed to work with it. Oh well, from reading the reviews it sounds as bad as "Private Line". I have my "Sideline" app for another business that works great. Maybe I can get another number through them for this business. Sideline is great! Piggybacks to Verizon's actual phone line not a VoiP and cost $.99 per month but I am grandfathered into an old promo rate from when Sideline first started.

Will randomly say I removed the number and I have to go back in and re-add it. Will randomly stop working and act like it went into sleep mode, even though I have permissions set to always stay active. Have missed calls and texts from clients and coworkers!

The paid phone app is horrible. The Mynumbers app randomly has problems like not allowing you to place calls and my favorite not playing your recorded vm greeting when someone calls. Then when you seek support and attempt to email them the logs that they require to fix the problem, the emails get returned to you from Verizon telling you the email is too large. I hate verizon.

Feedback My Numbers Promo What is your impression of the My Numbers app? I'm confused on whether or not I would be charged for this. I mean you're asking me to do it & give feedback so it should be free. However, when looking at the comments written about it on Google Play it looks like you're charging people and making it difficult for them to cancel when they decide they don't want to pay for the service. Which to me seems like the option most people would go with is a free one not this pay on

Used this for over a year cuz I needed another number. In the process now of porting my number over to a real line, I would never use this again. Call quality was shotty at best, like talking on a walkie talkie with delay. 1/2 the time it wouldn't ring & a day or 2 later I'd realized I missed a call. I've been in the port process now for 3 days & it looks like 2 more, apparently the numbers belong to different carriers & they need permission from you to port it over, but who new it said verizon

Did not want to carry 2 phones, personal and work. I added my numbers to my personal phone which works well however, I keep missing extremely important text messages. The phone does sound if I receive a text but there is no number listed on the icon showing I received a text. I walk away from my phone often so I am missing critical texts. I set up my Outlook email with this number and that does show the number of emails on the icon. Why doesn't it do this for text messages? May cancel.

Often I do not receive calls/messages until I open app. Features Needed: 1a) Unless system + ring + media volume is set to full silence, notifications SCREAM at high volume. 1b) Have the app use your device's ringtone volume and not media volume. I prefer to have media volume off (to avoid loud random video ads), but doing so will cause My Numbers to ring silent. 2) Ability to schedule times of notifications. Currently, you have to manually snooze calls/messages in the app.

This app is terrible for every reason. I would send a text to a customer, and it would just send it to a random person in my recently called list. Can't hear customer when speaking on the phone. Customers text messages fail to send. The damage this app has done to my business is ridiculous.

Constantly having problem with the app. Latest problem is it is dropping calls. I have to restart my phone just to make one call with the app. I thought this would be a great way to avoid carrying a personal phone and a work phone but it has been more trouble than it is worth.

When phone is asleep, you have to wake screen up, unlock screen, go to app to answer phone. In car, same thing, which is illegal to do in Minnesota, and dangerous as hell. Also, car does not recognize the incoming call so you can't use your car controls to answer it. I have a 2019 Cadillac XT5 and it won't work with it. The concept is great, execution not so much. Sometimes co-workers or customers will let me know they could not reach me... it would just ring forever.

This app doesn't work. I have lost many customers due this mynumbers app not receiving calls or showing missed calls. I have spent hours on the phone with Verizon support. I have put in escalated tickets with no call back no fix. This is my business phone and the number is on all my marketing and business cards. This apps unreliability is causing me to go out of business. No help in sight but Verizon keeps charging me.

NEVER DOWNLOAD THIS APP!! I have been unsubcribed from this app for 3 months but every month I am billed $15 on my Verizon bill and they have been unable to fix this issue. So every month I go to Verizon and they credit me $15 but have not been able to fix the issue. It's like herpes it never goes away!!!!

This app is decent if you need a separate number for personal communication, but I would never rely on it for my business line. The call quality is poor, text messages frequently come through multiple times, many of the emojis don't show up but instesd come through as codes. Very disappointing.
