Relatively great. I have to factory reset my phone (Galaxy S9) with every update. I sure miss Nextel! It works better than the current competitors and support is great. After updates my phone/app start glitching - app won't open, no speakerphone, etc... Support told me two different times to factory reset after talking for an hour, so that's my go-to move from now on.
Installed this app on my wife's phone w/o any problem. But when it came to my phone (primary acct holder), it has been a NO GO. I've had ALL levels of support, on NUMEROUS occasions, make the attempt to get this resolved - TO NO AVAIL!! So VERY, VERY frustrating!!! Could REALLY use this, too!
I have 40+ crew relying on this app to function properly. Most recent update caused most of our users to not be heard by the person on the other end. I've spent over 5 hrs on the phone w/Verizon customer support, most of that on hold, trying to get past tier 1 support. We go over the same questions each time, say they can't help & give me a number for tier 2 that is only for verizon internal use and sends me back to tier 1. Waste of time & money for a mediocre app that only works half the time.
we use this for our business. we all have the Samsung s8 swapping from the duraforce. both phones now have had the same issue!!! constantly dropping calls, breaking up when talking, connection issues, always freezing and says "connection lost" we have about 30 lines and all have the same issue!!!
They need to add support for the galaxy s10+. I have to use a iPhone xr that my company provides so I can have ptt communication with other employees. My galaxy, personal phone, is unlocked and works fine when I put the Verizon Sim in it. The only thing that doesn't work is ptt+ because they haven't added support for it yet. Ptt+ works fine in the iPhone, but, it's a iPhone and that's taking a step backwards.
After upgrading to the Samsung Note 20 ultra 5g this app apparently isn't an option anymore. I have been lied to by several verizon personel about how use this will work no problem and then when it didn't they said it was because it was a 5g capable phone. I don't have 5g where I live so the phone operates on the 4g band anyway, but there are 2 other 5g phones listed on the website that are listed as compatable. After all this frustration im not sure Verizon will keep my business.
We have about 10 people on PTT every day, five days a week, and we rarely all get the call. Alot of frozen screens and missed calls. Most times some hear the call while others don't. It's great when it works, but unfortunately rarely works.
HORRIBLE! Push to talk does NOT work! it will sit on connecting to server and will only work 2% of the time on wifi ONLY. Verizon doesnt seem to care either. We pay $5/monthly for something that doesnt work. Glad I found ZELLO and its the same thing and FREE!
We purchased new kyocera Dura Force phones a few weeks ago when they were just released. The Verizon ptt will not load nor connect to data server. The store and 3 tech support people can't help. As a result, business is being afffected. Looking into the free ptt apps . This app is garbage.
After my Samsung S9+ did a software update, I can't log back in to PTT+ and no one at Verizon has a clue to get me a new access code. We pay for this service to communicate with other employees out in the field. Service was revoked over a week ago, still no solution and countless hours in the phone with reps who have no idea what to do. Fed up!!
Too many group calls get missed or dropped. Tough when you're trying to run an operation that depends on real time updates and communication.
I use it for work, it get the job done, but the persistent notification is annoying. Please make a way to disable that.
i am a verizon rep and i am unable to use this program for my customer. there is a bug that is not able to get past the start up. please helo us keep this sale
app continuously fails to connect or receive calls. Verizon engineering helped about as well as a 3 year old
This is nothing but in the way. Thankfully the XPro lets you change the button to something else.
Great app, sometimes I lose signal but it's as simple as restarting my phone and it's fine. I love this app it's just like the old school churp
really slow response. constantly having to reset phone to get it to work.
Slow and jams often. The recent history does not keep up to date.
Far too intrusive on privacy, requires more permissions than it should. FAIL!
drop call's blocks you from using your phone but you can send a text message only no pics it's not Wise to use it but that's just me
This works well for a quick under cover protacall that needs to come together quick.
why charge for a service that should be free. just use one of the many free apps available.
The only thing positive about this app I can say is that the Android version works better than the iOS version.. but if you're looking for something that's reliable (and that doesn't mean reliably a PIA), look elsewhere. It costs $$$ (monthly subscription). Update of the OS, and the App leave it broken more often than not. If you manage an enterprise deployment, it'll be nothing but a time sync. If you expect it to work in an emergency -- you're probably going to be SOL (it uses data -- and a server). Depending on what your needs are, there's probably several absolutely free apps which will satisfy you... try them first. Besides -- you've got a phone in your hand... do you really need Push-to-Talk at all???
