I tried to use this app to request a tire changed. I submitted my request, but it never made it past the "We're finding a nearby rescuer" stage. No call, no text. Nothing. Then the status suddenly changes to "Rescue completed." I attempted to rate my experience in the app when it asked, but it wouldn't let me submit that either. I called and now it appears something is getting done. But this app is garbage.
It is difficult to give this app anything other than an absolute negative rating. I downloaded it to use for the first time and was unable to do so even though I have Verizon Roadside Assistance and have had it for several years. Unable to find my name. Really Allstate via Verizon? This is an app to help motorists in need not Candy Crush. Get it fixed!
It's super helpful and useful to have this as part of my plan, however I am not sure what is going on with the program updating your status. It said it couldn't find a provider in my area so I called a local place and they told me they had already sent someone out because they had the alert from Verizon. Definitely need to work on that bug!!! Thankfully I was parked outside my own home, but if I were stuck somewhere I would have thought I was on my own.
Used it once, worked well. Next time zi tried use it, it was stuck in the last "rescue" andvthere was no way to cancel it. I tried, ut failed. I had to uninstall the app and reinstall. This second instance I gad to call in, gsd a person who couldn't get the address right. Eventually spelled out every eorld in the address to get help on the way. Get a text for an hour and a half out, the driver called and couldn't communicate clearly. Very frustrating. I would avoid the app and just walk home.
I have had this service and app for about a year now,today was the first time i had to use it.I only needed a jump start but there were no issues with the app and i was quoted 90 minutes wait time well 15 minutes later i got a update that said he would be there in 20 minutes. so all in all about 45 minutes wait time.Not bad at all.
The app makes roadside assistance requests very fast and easy. It was so much better than calling in and sitting on hold! Right after I turned in the request a tech called and said he was on his way. He arrived 10 minutes later, gave me a jump start and was gone within 5 minutes! I've waited for up to 2 hours before so this is a big improvement. Thanks for the fast and seamless service!
Cannot login, so I was forced to continue as guest. They charged my debit for $90 tow, but no one showed up because of bad weather. Still waiting for them to reverse that transaction. Nice app, easy to use. But damn it needs some work. 1/5 stars until I can login. I'll keep trying until then.
My app was excellent. Now its stuck on my last roadside assistance service. When I click on the app all that comes up is your rescue is on it's way. Then when I hit the back button it goes back to that last service. When I try to hit cancel I get an error, try again message.
This was the quickest response I've ever experienced. All I needed was a jump, I signed onto the app and the "rescue" arrived in 5 minutes. I've used other services and the general time is about 30 mins to an hour (an hour and a half at peak). My experience was excellent.
I have had this service for 10 years. App no longer works. Sends to website, which doesnt order service either. Then long wait and run-around with the phone system. dialing #road send call back to regular customer service. Once I got service in 10 mins. Once I waited hours for a tow in a well populated area near a major city from 12 am til about 4 am. Now waiting 20+ mins for customer service to answer phone. We pay for the best phone service, but this doesnt feel like Way slow service lately.
Used Verizon's roadside assistance app for the first time. Great service. The tow was there really quickly. Pep had a big tire selection and was able to help really quickly. It is never a great experience, but it was as painless as possible
I had this for years because it was really cheap but like everything else at Verizon if gone up in price. I needed it today it was over an hour past the estimated time so I canceled the request and redid it and it automatically cancelled 2 minutes later good thing I was not Ina Road in busy traffic. I have canceled the service as a result and will spend the extra $3 a month on AAA
the app is great, but the "Good Hands" service and network behind it, although well designed (crowd sourced) in principle, its execution shows zero forward thinking. Why a technician who's further than 15 miles and/or over an hour in traffic would even be offered the call, when there MUST be dozens of available technicians close-by, within 5 or 10-minutes is downright idiotic. Beef-up your network Allstate! lots of people must be looking for this opportunity within minutes of any customer!
This app has zero purpose other then to take up space on your phone. I've used this app 3x now and each and every time I submit my information it tells me I need to call, rather for gas delivery, or tow, or jump start. It's a waste of space on the phone and a waste of time when you need assistance. The only purpose I can see for this app is so you don't have to Google the number to roadside assistance.
Having roadside assistance is great, especially during winter months. I set up thrive the app. and the rest is taken care of without me. I appreciate having one less thing in life that I don't have to worry about. Worth it if you live in a place where majority of the time the climate is freezing😁
The tracker consistently glitches and freezes. It cannot be dismissed without permanently messing up the program and needing a reinstall. The service times are often very long versus AAA and the lack of any different tiers makes their services much fewer than their competitors.
app crashed as soon as I tried to get a tow, entering info into app also couldn't select an address other than a service station when I just want to get my car home, then after that app crashed when I try and tell it what car I need towed, was able to use it to call an agent who helped me very promptly within an hour I was at home enjoying a cold beer after a bad night. service is great app needs work, please fix app other than that great, service 10 star, app 2 for now
This was a horrible experience for me today. The app would not work, so I called. The first person on the phone was extremely rude. I then had to call back to get a 2nd person to help. Then it was still hours in the cold and when a tow truck finally came another 2nd truck came not long after. And I kept receiving messages after. This experience does not give me confidence in the service at all.
The app showed a 2 hour Estimated Time of Arrival for the tow truck and the app also sent notification a tow truck had been assigned & a notification it was on it's way but could be delayed and the ETA would still be a 2hr possible wait. The 2hrs came and went without any calls nor notifications. I had to call the service listed n the app as the tower, they said their truck was down. I called roadside asst 2have a 2nd tow assigned & 3 hrs in I recvd help. The app doesn't notify properly etc
Unless I receive an unexpected bill later the service was amazing. Requested the tow. Watched the updates and they were very quick to respond. Loaded my vehicle & dropped it off with no issues. Absolutely great service and well worth the monthly fees to keep this service.
The actual app never updates the rescuer information therefore you are unable to use the app for any other issues in the future. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling several times with no success. Very inconvenient.
The app is very user-friendly! It is super self-explanatory. I love the way the call sends you a text message and offered assistance to walk you through the process. It was so simple, fast and very efficient! Not to mention the service that they used is called Duggars, and the text that they sent out I have been privileged enough to have been attended by the same guy twice before and each and every time he always had a smile a great attitude! Thank you!
