Verizon Tones

I've used this app for over 5 yrs. I switched phones, and Initially when I downloaded to the new phone I was having issues and kept receiving a system error message 2, but they have corrected the issue. I love this app. It has a good variety of songs and oldies. Thank you for the fix. I was freaking out. 2 weeks later, I'm having the same issue (system error 255.) I'm just going to cut my losses and uninstall. Too bad. I really like the app. Maybe I will try it agin with a new phone.

Extremely frustrating. As of right now, 12/4/19 and the last 2 months, the app doesn't even work. Doesn't let me manually search nor does it let me browse through the artists via the scroll search. Always says error loading page. If I had another option for a ring back app, I wouldn't even use this. Please, for the love of all things good, fix this bug or whatever is causing the error. Yes, I've uninstalled and re-installed (multiple times). I know, I know....first world problems.

The app doesn't allow me to to change ringtone for assigned contacts. When you to try to change the songs, it gives you an error code and if you try to delete it, it never full registers it just goes to a blank whit screen. I have uninstalled it and reinstalled it but nothing happens. I was also suppose to have a credit with this app for songs I purchased but they never showed up even though I was charged for them. Completely useless app. Save your time, and money. Not worth it.

I've had Verizon Tones forever. Recently the page wouldn't load, when did load I couldn't do anything, then when it acted correctly I would download a ringtone only to find out it hadn't been loaded. I deleted the app and found another I didn't like as much but it works. I just downloaded Verizon Tones again. It seems to be working. Let's see how long this will last.

This app is absolutely horrible. I really expect better from the best cell phone company out there. The interface is completely outdated, like something from the early 2000's on a 3G network using one of the first Smartphones. Around 90% of the previews don't even play so you don't know what you're getting if you bought those tones. I've tried force closing the app, reopening, uninstalling...everything. Focus on just making this a FUNCTIONAL webpage instead for those of us who enjoy Ringbacks.

Just like everyone else has said, the app doesn't work!! Goes from the spinning wheel to an absolute blank screen. Really sad that Verizon wants to be the best in the biz but cannot seem to get a app that works. Now everyone who calls gets that annoying classical music. Thank you for nothing even after an update a month ago, or so you say anyway!

Not sure what happened to this app since I used it 2 years ago. Upgraded to new phone and lost all my ringtones. I wanted my old ringtones back. Had to uninstall and and reinstall 20+ times and only got it to open once. Downloading is super slow and glitchy. Error said the ringtone was already purchased which was wrong because it never showed up on my phone. Verizon customer service could not help. They don't even know that the app is pretty much useless. Don't waste your time or your money.

Does not work! Don't bother downloading. You can't hear the previews of any songs nor can you see what ring back tones or ring tones you own. Screens are blank. I have installed and reinstalled several times hoping it would make it work. Nothing. I contacted Verizon. Have not heard anything. I bought all of these ring tones and ring backs and now have zero access to them. It is ridiculous. Another poor customer service job by Verizon. Maybe, it's time to switch carriers.

Possibly the most useless frustrating app by Verizon. Crashes, won't play ringback tones without shutting down app through device care, clearing cache partition, or uninstalling and reinstalling. After that it might work 1/3rd of the time and then never more than twice in a row. Have tried it with wifi, without wifi, with and without VPN on. Flat out HUGE waste of time and energy. Hard to believe such a big corporation with so many employees is willing to allow this kind of quality.

HORRRRRRRIBLE! No matter what I do it keeps making me repeatedly sign-in, then STILL won't recognize my phone! Not sure WHAT happened with last update but app is DEFINITELY NOT working properly. What really s*#;ks is when one gets a new phone/upgrades, all ringtones and ringback tones are lost and must be reloaded. I don't understand why Verizon can't just transfer like everything else! So, when the ridiculous app isn't working, & keeps kicking people off, it's virtually impossible to reload!

Doesn't work - I used to add Tones to my phone literally all the time. The app no longer works - can't preview most of the ringtones or ringback tones. Can't scroll through songs/artists/genres. You would think that being a Verizon customer for almost 20 years, the app would work well. Very frustrating and disappointing.

Gotten worse! I used to enjoy this app and the selections. Now, the app freezes, it doesn't allow me to search my contacts to assign ringtones and changing from my current selection has been/is a challenging. Please fix. Otherwise, I'll need to uninstall and cut my losses. I expect better from such a large, well known company that prides itself on customer satisfaction.

Annoyed by the app stalling constantly. I can hear MAYBE 2 previews before it stalls, won't play and I have to close and kill app and restart. Not worth keeping to find a ring back tone...considering how difficult it was to access the info to find ring back tones. through myverizon. I just came back to Verizon after 10 yrs with at&t . Not impressed so far.

This app is GARBAGE! If I could give it zero stars I would. The old app was super easy & WORKED. Now it wants me to create Jukeboxes, but they won't save, then it downloaded multiple copies of the same song. The current song list is terrible, & the Apps song list does NOT match the online list. How is that even possible? I spent FIVE HOURS with 2 different Chat techs, & 1 hour in the Verizon store, & NOBODY could get my ring back tones to work. I'm now uninstalling it & trying to get refunds.

Fix your foxing app that were paying to use! It used to work, but now I cant get wingback previews to play. Usually no previews will play. I cant hardly search anything, it'll blip to what I want, then blip to a blank screen in a fraction of a second, then if I try the search again, sometimes it says "no matches". Its totally messed up and not related to service as using wifi or having good service doesnt help.

Update..this app is still worthless. The pages still wont load I'm trying to manage my ringback and search for songs, yet the app isn't showing anything when I indicate an action. I can't do anything. Also, I USED to be able to find any song no matter the age of it for ringbacks. Now, there's very poor and extremely little selection. And how could so many CURRENT songs not be an option? AND it gets stuck almost immediately. I can never scroll to try to find anything

Wow, really??! Verizon, my business spends thousands of dollars a year on your cellular service and merchandise, and this V Tones app is still this bad? What is the problem? I know that you are aware, but just to explain the 1 star, the app only opens 1 out of maybe 7-10 times and then it crashes. You really should just take it off the market. Its a pathetic excuse for a ringtone/ ringback app and it only makes Verizon look bad. Very disappointing.

Ringtones not working - don't waste your money buying them. Have had ringback and ring tones for years. Had to replace my phone under extended warranty and Ringtones don't work. Even went to the point of spending 2 hours and ten minutes trying to resolve with Verizon technical support without resolution. Technical support issued a "ticket" for their IT, received response today stating nothing wrong with Verizon tones and provided the exact directions where I spent 2+ hours on the phone.

For as much money as Verizon as a whole pulls in every year, you would think that they could more than afford to fix their app rather than leave it in the garbage state its in. Its laggy, it kicks you out and forces you to sign in repeatedly, and it doesn't play every song you want to preview before you purchase it. Plus, Verizon Tones doesnt have a great selection of songs per artist. I would expect to be able to buy any song any artist has ever wrote. Complete disappointment. Fix it.

After the latest update, it will not play anything. My ringback tones or the samples of the ones you can buy. The app used to let you know when a ringtone expires, it doesn't even do that anymore. I like the service, please fix it bcuz it used to work great.

If you leave the app for a second for any reason, you will have to sign back in with your security question answer and password. It does not store the answers so they have to be typed out every time. Have had to sign in a dozen times already in the last 10 minutes while responding to messages and emails while trying to find a new ringback tone since my old one was pulled from the market.

Have had Verizon Tones FOREVER. Uses to download ringback tones and ringtones with ZERO issues. For about a YEAR now, this app has SUCKED. Ive been on the phone with the TechCoach as he vertually does his thing on his end… NOTHING!!! Went into a Verizon store… they couldn't help, but he placed a "fix it ticket" for the techs. Was supposed to get a call back… Still waiting on that. Pages dont load, previews dont play, and I can't even "back out" of it with the back button. Im charged $1. monthly
