I've enjoyed both episodes that are available so far. Yes they are typos, yes sometimes the grammar doesn't line up quite right but what do you expect with a story that you can alter each time you read it? There are not enough of these to have an effect on the enjoyment of reading and playing through the story. I am looking forward to the next episode!
A really intriguing story that feels like it's constantly expanding in scope as the protagonist learns more about the world. An enjoyable narrative with choices that challenge you ethically and morally. Can't wait to read the other books
This story is far more focused on how amazing the surrounding characters are and your own story is little more than you walking around oohing and aahing over how much greater they are than you. It seems like your actions have little impact on the flow of the story and it feels like you have to push hard against the writer to go against any character you don't like, namely for me it was the "goddess". I usually love these games but this is one I have to say does not hold up to the usual standards of Choice Of Games.
A great, diverse read with a lot of subtle mechanics implemented into it. Interesting from start to finish - can't wait to read the second part.
For the price, I should have just bought and moved on to a new book. This was too short. It feels full of the promise of accomplishment, but ultimately very little happens aside from story reveals that your actions likely don't impact here. I don't plan on getting the next episode.
A gripping and compelling interactive novel with political intrigue and lots of twists and turns in a fantastical SciFi setting, I was hooked from the start and didn't put it down until I finished it.
Wow. No regrets in purchasing this story and planning to buy the series. The character, the plot, the choices were exceptional. Didn't think nothing would top the hero project but was I wrong.
Please add an option to change the background colour, i usually only have time to read at night so the bright white background hurts my eyes a few minutes after starting to read. But other than that, i love the story. Thank you
One of the best games I've ever purchased so far. It's so worth it. The storyline is engaging and you really need to think about your choices as it defines your character. Great job to the creators!
A required read for anyone even slightly interested in interactive fiction. A true shining beacon that convinced me that there is limitless untapped potential in interactive fiction that no one except Zachery Sergi(this book's auther) and one or two others have come close to
Zachary has a unique writing style and i love his work. The LGBT elements are not overpowering the narrative and they dont feel accessory either. It's a well crafted series that anyone with an open mind can enjoy. Can't wait to know what happened to my Hero from The Hero Project series who will be part of the next Versus interactive book.
I really love this story, and I hope it does continue and stay as interesting as it has been in the next part of the story ! Thank you for making another great game.
I regret buying this game. I never finished it as it got boring and it seems nothing ever actually happened. I recommend buying a different game.
It was a pretty good story I thought, but it was kinda short but i enjoyed it worth the purchase.
Really fantastic work, the way the statistics work are the best I've seen
Such an amazing game. Loved it. <3 Can't wait for the whole story to unfold. <3 So exciting.
I liked the story but I wouldn't get into it the series isn't complete and I doubt they will
Amazing story. I love how queer characters are included.
was unsure at first but then it became so interesting definitely one to play
amazing storyline and definitely one i will be trying different peresonalities on later
This is actually one of my favorite choice of game books. This author really succeeds in world building. Worlds within worlds within worlds. Your goal in this series is to save Prisca from the Blot. The narrative starts on a small backwater planet with religious beliefs that encourages isolation and then expands to a galaxy with many different aliens and pocket dimensions. The imagery and plot are top notch. The characters introduced are all unique and relatable. Well-written. Highly recommend.
A great game book with lots of choices.
A true astonishment. Usually, in choice games, you're able to see the paths laid out clearly before you. However, they always try and obscure the paths or make it less obvious to increase immersion. Some do it better than others but VERSUS actually embraces these paths. ENCOURAGES you to stick to one, and completely utilizes and rewards the ability to stick to your beliefs and chosen playstyle. Enjoy the experience. I know I did, and will continue to.
It appears this series is made specific to generate money not only by copying the choose your own adventure books but also by adding in micropurchases that deny the full game to anyone not willing to pay the abitrary ammounts the creators demand. Do not buy, it is not worth it. The writing has improved over the older games yet this only seems to have encouraged money Grubbing behavior
Overall well written and engaging. Some minor grammatical errors, but it doesn't detract from the story. The aversion to singular they/them is a bit odd, but I suppose ze/hir works just as well. The story does not feel very complete on it's own, so I would only recommend if you plan on reading the sequels. That said, if you do have time to commit to the sequels, it's a great choice.
