During the several years I worked for the Department of Veterans Affairs as a Rating Specialist, I would quite frequently discover that the Bilateral Factor was not properly entered into disabilities that REQUIRED it, pursuant to 38 CFR 4.26. After correcting this error by properly including the Bilateral Factor, the Veteran’s overall disability percentage would, quite frequently, increase to the next higher level! You may have noticed that several websites offer free calculators that similarly attempt to provide you with solutions to VA Math problems. Although these calculators bear many different names, for instance: “Veterans Affairs Disability Calculator,” “Veteran Combined Calculator” and “Disability Percentage Calculator” they all seem to have 3 things in common: 1) They are not easy to use 2) They do not include Bilateral Factor calculations and 3) THEY DO NOT PROVIDE THE CORRECT COMBINED DISABILITY PERCENTAGES.
Trust my experience; don’t expect the Department of Veterans Affairs to correct the problem for you. Double check the VA Math today by purchasing VetCalc and take the necessary steps to force the Department of Veterans Affairs to correct the error in YOUR claim.

Great app for calculating disabilities. Would have given it 5 stars if it could save the data put in instead of starting over each time. This allows me to individually adjust my ratings.
Great tool and works great for bilateral calculations. BUT, if you don't understand the basics to VA ratings you're apt to wonder how it all works.
Great app for finding out what you payment will for your disability. So far right on the money. Also shows how when you reach a certain percentage how the VA only calculates at . Lower percentage.
After the slightly delayed update, the app is reflecting current comp percentages and associated monetary figures. Thanks for the update. Was a 4 star previously, but now you got all 5.
The calculations are not accurate as it increases for dependents over 18 even when the vet percentage is less than 100%. Also the 100% calculation is not current, it is several hundred short
Does not account for if the 18-24 dependent is in college on chapter 35, but easy to skip in order to get accurate amount. Fantastic otherwise.
***very limited app*** People can be service connected for other things besides arms and legs. Put the entire body system into your database, then you may be onto something!
Super easy to use and accurate. Not bloated with Ad Ware. My favorite app for calculating benefit compensation.
Guess i will have to look up a youtube to make sure I am using it right. Accidently hit the wrong percentage and couldnt figure how to do that.

One of the best calculators for understanding VA carnival math, which is never in the Veterans favor. while I have not used the law office who sponsors this app, I direct Veterans to this app its office.
Not a full calculator. Just shows stuff for legs and arms, nothing else. Can't put in 4 digit codes
very accurate and a huge help when predicting changes to the budget.
I like the concept of this app but it would be much more helpful if it included more than 4 options.

Not 100% accurate as the VA is constantly increasing benefit payments but it give a relatively close idea what you should expect in regards to the percentage rating received.

Simple math isn't simple when the va is involved
Great app for calculations. it is not necessary to use the "body parts" while calculating. just punch in numbers. I suggest a function that allows people to save calculation and add/modify as you go.
