- You, before you downloaded this VHS Camera app. We have also an effect similar to a novelty camera or a glitch camera, very retro, a bit damaged, with very cool glitch art.
So, straight from your Android device, film home retro videos that feel like they were recorded in the 80s & 90s. VCR, tape cassette or even the Super VHS (SVHS was the HD version) are things from the past, but it feels so good to have them back.
It has also some subtle background white noise, to be even more similar to the VCR videocassette recorders.

Is there a reason why this app has been abandoned by the developers? I purchased the app because it was an awesome app when I first purchased it. Now, it doesn't work on my Note8. It hadn't even received an update in over years.
It said i could import the videos from my own gallery. Well, i'm not seeing that option. Also, the camera is kinda weird.

I bought this app because I was looking for some cool VHS features. But the picture is too narrow when i hold my phone horizontally and too wide when I hold it vertically. Please fix this.
There's an extremely weird glitch in the app. More than half of the effects doesn't show the actual camera view, it's black and only the effects can be seen. And the weirdest weirdest part is that the app actually records. But no live preview. Samsung S8 with the latest software update.
This app is pretty fun x3. If I could make any suggestions, I'd say improve the VHS effect so the quality is softer (if that makes sense). Since an actual VHS tape is lower in resolution than our phones (which is pretty amazing, to think how far we've come along by the way), it should have a slight blur effect applied to the picture as well as the time stamp itself. Also, VHS tapes tend to have a constant smidge of warping in the video signal at the bottom of the screen, so try and add that in if possible.
Bought the app to support dev, then they stopped this one and made a new one with in app purchases. Avoid.
I cant import vids from my gallery..please tell me how to do it and I'll then rate it a 5 star...i am kinda regretting myself on buying this
I've bought this app to support the Dev thinking it's going to improve the VHS effect, but just added more crap effects and the VHS effect still poor. Could be better if remove the unrelated to VHS effects and focus on improve the VHS tape effect.
It is okay, VHS effect is not great... I regret buying it. Maybe updates might be able to save the app
I downloaded the app, the screen is all black when I open it, it won't work at all. It's very frustrating
When importing a video to add vhs effects it completely destroys the final video. I want my money back.
Ugh it's awful. Not only is the video recorded upside-down but it always brings an audio error.
I really like the subtle detail of the vhs noise. Awesome. Will you eventual combine the other camera apps into this one or into one? There are effects that I wish were in this app that would work well that are not. I use this app very often and hope to see some updates soon.
The free VHS apps are far better. This is very low quality, jumpy/ lags (with or without HQ), hardly any decent options, takes forever to process/ save. Rubbish!

No longer functions correctly on my pixel running 8.0 Oreo.
The video is good but there is always an audio error and therefore no audio ever records.
I've recently started a movie business and needed an app to make old videos, and I thoroughly enjoy it. I love how you can change the date and time, and too. Magnificent.
Some free apps are better that this one, the scrolling wrinkle doesn't look good and the over all effect is not worth the $1.99. The one by rarevison is the best one in my opinion
