The Vianavigo application is designed for all transport users in the Île-de-France region, enabling users to easily organise any journey. By gathering information from 74 transport companies in the Île-de-France region, Vianavigo provides to users personalised search parameters, different journey possibilities, and traffic information.

Vianavigo groups together all the different modes of public transport in the Île-de-France region (train, RER, metro, tramway, T 2en, bus and coach) managed by the SNCF, the RATP and private companies grouped together under OPTILE (Professional Organisation of Transportation for Île-de-France).

Because mobility requires rapidity, Vianavigo offers you a solution in a minimum of clicks. Select your destination and start your search from the home page: you will be given a choice of several routes from your position, effective immediately. Your favourite routes and places are also accessed quickly, so you can easily update your journeys .

Journey planner that give you the choice!

Several routes are suggested: choose the most appropriate solution based on several criteria (route time, mode of transport, number of changes, walking time, possible disruptions) or change your parameters (type of route, modes used, via) to personalise your results. Once you make your choice, you access a page with your step-by-step route based on the timetable, including which lines to use, pedestrian details and any potential disruptions. You can adjust your travel as you go, avoiding problems like sudden service disruptions or closed stations. You can also find the perfect route for you with the features « Arrive earlier » and « Leave later ».

Towards developers : It is now possible to launch a Vianavigo journey search from another application.

To do so, just create an intent on the itinerary activity (com.applidium.vianavigo.activity.search.AdvancedSearchActivity) with 2 Extra values :
- EXTERNAL_CALL (boolean) set with value true.
- ARRIVAL (string) which value is meant to be the searched destination : a station's name, a city, a street or a monument.

During the past 3 months, I was able to renew my monthly pass using the app with no trouble. However, this month (March 2020), the app was not able to load the pass on to my carte navigo (the regular blue one, which should be compatible). It would recognize my card and allow me to purchase the subscription, but would not load the pass. I either received a message that there was an error or it told me that my card wasn't compatible. I assume this is a bug from the latest update.

I dared to try this morning... Impossible to copy and paste a password from a Password Manager. After changing my password back to a weak password (avoiding fat fingers), still does not work. Two kind of errors after that: either my credentials are wrong (they aren't) or "The app encountered a problem". Cryptic messages with no way of sending logs/debug information to Devs... #sadpanda

Update 28/4/2022: Two issues. NFC on my Oneplus 8T is isn't compatible with the app. The icon has disappeared from my phone and app list. I need to search for it through Google PlayStore and open it from there. _____ With the new update, I'm unable to load tickets onto my phone (Samsung S9+). The payment is approved, but the tickets won't load. The app continues to give me the error system unavailable.

Bonjour! Doesn't work with my phone (Sony Xperia 5). Please take a model from London, cc contactless payment. It's super easy and convenient. Or if you really want to mess with app please make a proper one. No need to use SIM card, just phones NFC like in Helsinki Finland.

The app looks good, but purchase function doesn't work on my Huawei P30. The error is - Incompatible device. Sounds illogical. What special hardware does a device need to have to buy a transport ticket?

This app is very picky. For traffic Google maps will do a better job. For tickets, so picky that it is always better to get to a machine and buy it there.

Maybe this will be helpful to others too, because it's not explicitly said anywhere: I downloaded the app and bought a weekly ticket. I don't have a physical Navigo pass. Do I have to get the card to use the ticket or can I just use the ticket on my phone?

The Paris transport network has obviously not entered the 21st century. I have a Google Pixel 5a, on which Google Pay and NFC work great. But apparently it's not compatible for this app. Makes no sense that the app seems to be using its own compatibility settings not in line with vanilla Android. Needs a fix.

Does not work with Google Pixel 4A. I can use almost any modern phones NFC to buy a coffee, order a taxi, buy and show a ticket on Oui SNCF but not to use the metro system of the capital city of the 2nd largest country in the EU! Time to modernize, tired of wasting paper tickets and with telétravail I do not use the metro enough for the Navigo pass. Coming from London where you can use your; card, phone, smart watch as well as the normal modes to travel l, I cannot understand. Ridiculous!

Disgraceful. I had a One Plus 7 Pro and the app didn't work, I switched to Pixel 6 and the app still does not work. Why does the app need to access the SIM card? How is this supposed to help transitioning to a ticketless world in 2022 when major phones are not supported. When will they be?

The app was working perfectly. However it stopped working two days ago when I replaced my old sim card (Orange) with the new one (also Orange). As soon as I try to visualize my monthly navigo pass or purchase a ticket, the app tries to install a helper app Ticket Sans Contact. Then immediately is throwing the error saying SkmsAgent service stopped working and Navigo installation stops. Making the app unusable with the Orange sim card and NFS as well. Really sad as I did really like the app.

I own a Samsung Galaxy S10e and bought one month pass, but the next month I will go back to the card. Metro access detectors are not sensitive as required. It is necessary to pass the phone several time to get access, most of the time i have to try in more than one entrance, is a nightmare!!.

What a joke! They could have designed a contactless system that works but no! You read you can havr your tickets on your phone, but then it is only Android, then only certain versions of it, with a single mobile network operator, then it does not work! I want to be clear: I use this app on an Android 7 phone with NFC enabled and a SOSH sim card, also tried orange, it does not work on the devices developer claims are supported! Disregard their answer below off topic about other devices: such BS

I'm really not sure why there is an option to purchase a ticket from this app if it's only an option available to people with a specific phone + on a specific network. It just seems... idiotic. Can Navigo please hire the team that organises London's public transport to make this system user friendly.

Subscribed to the service, DE installed the application, restart the OnePlus 5 phone , activate the NFC, installed Ticket sans contact apps, and guess what… YES you’re right the apps send an error message! Why launching such a mediocre apps? When around the world NFC works and well… when would you fix all those bugs?

When you try and pay to buy tickets and have to confirm with your bank app it doesnt finish with the payment it just goes back to the screen before and hangs. I have tried 10 times already. And im not turning off my bank security for your app.

The installation was smooth except for the PR purchase module. Doesn't work at all. Debugging from contact us also not working. If it's not planned to be used for one plus phones or in general Android phones then this app doesn't help at all

It is a scam app. This 1 September, I used their app to recharge my navigo pass. Everything was good untill I paid 75.20 euros. After that when I wanted to load my card with ticket I just paid for, their app shows error and after that there is no trace of my bought ticket. I did receive a confirmation receipt from them. I sent them the confirmation and now they are saying they will not reimbursing my money. They are just thief. It's a scam. Never use this app.

In my opinion, it's a very good app for people going to work. It's easy to use. Better of all, it's a great application for the entire Ile-de-France ! Whereas RATP app is ok for Paris, and very close suburbs. I've been using ViaNavigo for 3 years, it's very convenient ;)

Okay, in the end the application is really useful, and exist in English too. The surface is logically built, and even cityscoot is inside. Complex, logical. 😊 The one minus is because the huge mess in the beginning, that was really bad.

Tickets do not work with my phone (Google Pixel.) I only wanted the app to avoid queuing up to buy the awful paper tickets. "This service is incompatible with your phone". I'm sure the play store could have told me that in advance so I wouldn't have wasted my time trying When I try the Get Help button: "Warning: shuffle() expects parameter 1 to be array, null given in /var/www/html/wp-content/themes/theme-navigo-faq/template-accueil.php on line 98" That is just sloppy coding and poor testing.

SCAM, Do not recommend. Other than the basic stuff (maps and routes) which other apps provide better and for less limits than IDF region, this app is a complete joke. NFC does not depend on your phone's NFC, but on some specific provider's SIM card. My phone's NFC is secure enough to PAY using VISA and MASTERCARD methods, but for getting on a bus, you need to buy a simcard from ORANGE or a specific phone from SAMSUNG. I wonder how much these companies are paying you to make people restricted to using them.

This app has stopped working on Android devices. Not able to buy tickets. When you try it on an iOS device it works for some reason. Please fix these issues.
