Booked a tour in Greece. The director redeeming were unclear at best. Told to redeem at the tour spot, then found out we had to pick up tickets 30 mina from where the tour was, so we missed it. Reached out to Viator to explain how confusing their instructions were and they sent me an email from the travel agency lying and saying the office was 5 mins from the port. Don't use Viator. Give more money to the local businesses, because Viator won't be there if you have issues.
I would give 0* but unfortunately there's no option like that. Used Marrakech bought trip to Waterfalls, tour operator asked me for extra transfer to hotel 400dirham which is super high price for 15 min drive, obviously I didn't agreed and said that I have used other 2 tours and no one asked me for extra to pay anything. They cancelled my tour 10 min before departure, they refuse d refund to viator and viator was on their side , saying that all was on description, which WASN'T. DON'T USE!!!!
There is no way to email for support. I was given a first use 10% off code but forgot what it was and when I went back it wasn't there. I clicked on 24 hour support but it just brought me back to the app front page. In "support" on the app it only brings you to articles regarding your topic.
use them everywhere i go. so flexible and realiable. realitic prices with the flexiblity of free cancellation. when trips get cancelled due to weather the money straight back to you. they even pre warn you that weather may be bad for youre trip so you can reschedule. 10.10
No contact us option, which is essential when your tour operator calls you to cancel the tour, insisting you have to use the app to get a refund. And the app tells you that you will get no refund if you cancel it yourself. Great, isn't it?
Easy to use and fast. No issues with cancellations either. The app was easy to search, and could pick the event and dates easily. No complaints so far, will continue to use and test. Keep up with the promotions =)
So easy to book with Viator and currently offer 10% off booking via their mobile app. Prices are the same as booking direct so I would throughly recommend using Viator. We had to cancel a booking during Covid and their team were absolutely outstanding helping us deal with our bookings. I feel reassured when booking with them and they offer secure Google Pay and Paypal payments alongside card payments.
Viator makes it very easy to navigate and reserve tours. It's cancellation policy is very helpful.
your customer service department could not help me successfully install the app. when I asked for a supervisor, I was told they could not help me either. I finally found out that I just had to change my password to make it work. WHY could your people not tell me that????????
Amazing site/app! Love all the options and flexibility to cancel the day before with no penalties. We won't use any other booking tool from now on.
DO NOT BOOk WITH VIATOR. My family and I booked a scuba dive tour in Cairns and the money was taken but once we went to check in there was no record of our booking. They have absolutely ruined our trip and was not helpful at all. Save your time and money and avoid the stress that they put me and my family through.
booking is easy, lots of choices available. if you find it cheaper they honor that price. % Off when using first 3 times.

Would not provide 10% discount for referral after friend booked adventure as stated and advertised. The customer service said they take issues seriously but didn't offer to look into it, provide missing 10% discount, nor offer to make it right. I've contacted them several times and still haven't received the 10% discount owed. STRONGLY recommend using any other site/app to book adventures - there are many. Viator is a not worthy of use. It's only 10% off, wouldn't break their bank. Avoid Viator
Cannot log in for days. Wanted to book tours, had to choose another company. Still cannot log in to provide a review to the one company we did book.
Payment option via credit card not working. It offered the 10% discount via the voucher code, collected all the info on travel budies ,but then it says You card has issues, please try another card. Tried 2nd card, same error. I checked with the Bank Call center and they dot see any transactions attempts, so it is stuck with aviator payment processor. Now my doubt is that the card information has been collected , and i would need to lookout for suspicious activity on my bank statement.

even though usd is preferred currency, it was still charging me in euros with no apparent way to fix. Otherwise a good app.

One of the worse apps that can't even relay correct information. In order to communicate easier with tour operators I use the app. But it is completely garbage for everything else. The website gives all the right information, so why can't the app? The website gives full itinerary, the app doesn't. The website tells you the tour operator, the app doesn't until you pay. I constantly have to toggle back and forth using the browser and the app to complete a single task.
