- It was designed first to motorola defy, nothing else. I'm not able to test this application of all devices.3
- Since june 2016 : I changed my device, and i even don't own my defy ( ... after 6 years of duty use).
On some devices, when you uncheck the haptic feedback option in settings, vibrate stills enabled for some keys.This app is useful for people who are annoyed with this, in my point of view, bug.It's also allways a good idea to deactivate haptic feedback in order to save some power juice.
How does it work ?VibraFix stops totaly the vibrate with a rude and simple method : changing the permission (777 to 444) for the vibrate ressource.
Features :Vibrafix forces vibrate to stop.VibraFix can be started automaticaly at boot.VibraFix is a quiet application running in the background and uses very little resources.VibraFix can enable again the vibrate when a phone call or/and a SMS is received.There is also an attempt to deal with the vibrate when an AlarmClock is trigged.Optional notification in order to enable vibrate in one click.Optional shortcuts to enable or not Vibrafix (Switch ON, Switch OFF and Switcher) Optional options to enable only in 'Pocket Mode" or when in charge
Devices concerned :This fix has been tested only on Motorola Defy (stock ROMs android 2.1 and android 2.2.1)but should certainly works also on other phone devices/ROMs with the same bug.

The developer Cynyx responds with his customers in a rude manner. Like telling them to gtfo or telling someone that the requirements for the App are in the description of the App. All the guy did was ask of it could be more clear and for most normal users it would be nice to see the "Needs Root" requirements in the title as well as the description of the App. You want to be nice to your customers or this will happen you'll have an App with low ratings that no one will want to use.
This app does exactly what it says. I hated the annoying fingerprint vibrations for unlocking, and they are no more. The only feature that would be a great addition is the ability to make the vibrations for texts stronger and/or longer. I never feel the current vibration when my phone is in my pocket.
Does what it says on the tin. I hate the vibration when using finger ID (esp at night when in bed) and with this you can turn it off. If the developer can add on/off based on time (turn vibration off at night back during the day) it would be great.😃🙂
Thank God I don't have to open up my phones and take the motor out . This app works perfectly
I love it. I'm on MIUI Xiaomi Redmi 3s and the fingerprint vibrate was always waking my wife and daughter at night. Now it's totally silent, thanks a lot!

Worked well in android lollipop.My CM12 keeps vibrating in a long peroid every 5 hours.Thanks to your app it fixed the probelm!

The app did what it says. I want to get rid off finger print and notification vibration that comes as default in noughat. Using this app I disabled that. Kudos to dev.

It's awesome...but unfortunately in enable mode it's disable vibration for calls,alarm,sms in Android 8.1.0.. Please fix this issue.

Thank you for making this app! It does just what it says in the description! Can be very helpful people like me who really wish they could get rid of the vibration on double tap to wake screen and incorrect fingerprint! I have come across a few problems with the app, however, such as the vibration not enabling when on ring/normal mode or when the device is not charging. The status bar notification is also extremely dark, making it really difficult to read the contents. The app also becomes temporarily unresponsive when plugging in/unplugging the charger. The last thing and worst thing about this app is that the auto-start function does not work.
