Vibrations

Vibrations is a true vibration spectrum analyzer using the built in accelerometers inside your android device. Vibrations visualizes current accelerometer sensor data, performs a Fast Fourier Transformation (FFT) and displays the results in an histogram. The dominant frequency (peak of the histogram) is highlighted. In the settings the accuracy of the fft can be adjusted in a range from 0.0625 Hz
- 1.0 Hz. Results are shown in a separate tab for each axis.
Warning: High accuracy of the fft causes heavy load on the cpu. It may disturb the results!

Downloaded, installed, and opened the app. It worked for 2 minutes, as soon as I changed the axis the program froze. Got back to the home screen and now the graphs are overlaid on top of my wallpaper, but beneath all the icons. App has not responded since. There are plenty of other apps that can actually function as intended, don't waste your time.

With a little math and knowing my tire size, I found out that I had a bad tire instead of something more serious. Only 4 stars because if I hit any features, it freezes and force closes.

Started to measure, when I tried to enter Settings it just locked the phone. Had to restart phone. Samsung Galaxy S2

And I can't see any useful info on the graph; only a flat line that lags.

Awesome for x-axis, however the app stops functioning when selecting y- or z- axis. Additionally, please add functionality to measure all three values simultaneously and combine the data directionally as a vector.

Used to work but now crashes when selecting axis. Crashes on my GS3 and my Iconia tab. Great potential, poor completion.

Very convenient frequency analyser with a nice design, but the app hangs up the phone in case of any interaction (chosing axis or just touching the screen)

Hard to read numbers very small, on s4, need option to increase size of read out, but does work

Crashes too often and can't adjust settings. However it's the only app I can find that can show the frequency spectrum.

Froze up so o thought it had crashed. No, just sitting in the background hitting the CPU hard.

This app has too small of text to read. Also did not exit properly and left itself on my home screen, back to the drawing board !

Can't even get to the settings menu on my note 3

Couldn't rate it lower! This is unfinished, do not bother with it.

Locked up every time I tried to select 'Z' axis button or the screen in general.

Otherwise it is good

At the moments it's real time only and it moves a bit fast. :( I guess it's more for jobs then measuring a normal days walk

A few tweaks (like numerical display of acceleration or velocity at spectral peak and/or target frequencies, and changeable units like inches per second), and this could be an immensely powerful tool in vibration analysis.

This is a great app for checking vibration frequencies. Works very well.
