Video Compress

Acceptable best App to compress from large to medium or small depending on the file, video space. Is helpful but what's only bit missing is that some compressed videos can be shared but with bad quality

This is a really great app for me personally, as it does exactly what I need it to do. Now I'm not a techy guy, but this app works really easy, and I honestly suggest that you give it a try. My thanks to the developer☝🏻🙏🏻👍🏻

Works good I like what it dose to my videos my name is Johnny lee starkey I use it for uploading my videos to u tube and cleaning them up with the compressor lots of choices and custom Compressing

Phenomenal functionality. I'm considering getting the paid version not because the free version doesn't do everything I need, but as a software developer I appreciate how much work, dedication, and commitment to excellence went into publishing this excellent utility. It works especially great when you want to send a clip taken with your phone via WhatsApp and it gets cut because of WhatsApp's restrictions on the file size of a video you can send.

Simply would run on my Samsung Note20 today. Unistalled & reinstalled twice, with same result. Shame, looks good otherwise

A really solid app to have video compressing feature work on just your phone. So you don't have to make efforts in doing complex actions to do the same in your computer. Really, it saves time and eases the task. But just a minor issue here that I want to point out for developers to solve; when we are done compressing the video, the original thumbnail of the video gets replaced by a distorted image. Please solve this issue and if I can do anything related to this, please tell. Otherwise, Thanks!

Easy, fast, effective. This app does exactly what you want it to with the minimum of fuss so I paid to remove ads. That also means it now works in the background with updates on compression progress via notifications. Lovely. Choice of compression options based on target size and resolution. You can take a 200MB file down to 20MB or a 10MB file down to <1MB. Whatever you need. I have never seen it fail, so all the complaints below (auto-playing on completion, making files larger, failing on large files) may be based on old versions or they are just unlucky. Brilliant app. Only complaint is the built-in player, which is off centre and not full screen, so it would be better if it opened in the system video player instead.

It is not recommended. Maybe something wrong. I installed the app, tried to 🗜 compress a video. Once you have selected your output it jump out of the app. After 3mins the percentage on my notification ain't moving. Nothing on the app to show it is compressing a video 📹. I had to cancel the action. At the moment I have to Uninstall. No gonna lie it easy to use but it ain't working on video 📹 🗜 compress.

Used to be good, but not anymore since they updated it, UI has less options on the screen when choosing the compression size etc. Most importantly, it doesn't even work... I tried both fast forward and compress function, it said 'done, tap to see it', I clicked on it, and it's the original video, cannot find the edited version anywhere on my phone, I'm deleting this app, waste of my time.

Used to be an excellent App. I paid to remove the adds since when everything has gone downhill. It refused to complete it's task . Files disappear, the app crashes. . I'm just about to uninstall . I have no idea what they have done but no menu options are now available , just a list of my past compressed video's. Conclusion, what was good , now a totally useless app.

I'd been using the app for over a year. It used to be an easy and super useful app (I used mostly it to compress video memes so that I could send them in Discord). But sometime a few months ago the app stopped working correctly (compressing a video would take an infinite amount of time and never finish, new videos I downloaded wouldn't show up, and the UI became super slow.) Even reinstalling the app didn't fix these problems. Unfortunately, all I can do is uninstall and find a better app.

It does its job as needed and is really dummy proof. It can run in the background while you do your own stuff though some phones will restrict the resources it uses hence it'll be slower when your multitasking. You won't notice it much on a faster phone. It has ads but, it is free! It can also work offline just fine.

Tried so many apps that kept crashing. This one works perfectly each time. Finished videos are easy to find in my phone's photo gallery, whereas other apps save to internal folders which are hard to locate. Been using it mostly for compressing large videos, and basic editing. Has preset options to make things easier, or customisable options for more advanced users. Quality of compressed videos is still great for my needs. And no watermark on the videos! Great app!

Why searching my file on my phone has become so difficult, I don't know what kind of interface have you put into it. I go to 3 lines on top left, it shows home n other things. On the main screen it shows pre opened folders of whatsapp, downloads etc. Why don't you make it simple to search my file into whatever folder I wish to open it from. It's frustrating. Uninstalled after using for 4 years.

App works well but if I leave it for a few minutes, I find when I get back that it's slowed right down to a crawl. You have to sit there watching it all the time, tapping the phone screen every 30 seconds or whatever to stop it blanking out. Fine if you're compressing a small video, but a pain if the video's over, say, 400MB.

Used to use this app to cut a change format for my dashcam videos since the audio format wasn't compatible with the system. Worked really well but now the latest updates renders the app useless. All I can see is a list of folders in almost alphabetical order. But they are all subfolders. For some reason all the folders of my music artists takes up the list and the folder for my dashcam isnt on the list. Worst UI ever.

Interface design is sloppy, and it estimates final file weight inaccurately.

It's compressing tool is broken. It's possible to work with. as soon as you start the compression/conversion, if you minimize the app for more than 2-3 minutes (which it's almost always the case) the app resets and forgets what it was supposed to do.

Wow I couldn't believe the changes in the new update........ It's awesome now🤩👌👌🤩 all options are now icons........ Nice 👌👌 no lag... Runs smoothly...... But there is a bit trouble with the video quality and compression speed. Even if we choose custom, quality will be lost as the compression level. The other 2 options are nice but it takes a lot of time to be compressed.... It is awesome that the compression is working in the background 🤩🤩😍. We can do other things while the compression

Good app, it's useful app for video compressor.. I like it..

The application was working perfectly before the latest update on 02.01.2021. Now it does not remove audio although the option is turned on. Also there is no compressed copy left in the relevant folder for compressed files. Very frustrating and disappointing. Please do something!! Please rectify before going to another application.

It used to be a very useful app before merging clips and matching bitrates. For some unknown reason I can no longer control bitrate compression and no matter what percentage decrease I choose, it loses 2/3 bitrate. 80% or 97% , the bitrate gets cut down to 30% of original. I hope there will be a fix for that coming.

to begin with: it's trial and error to pick the correct size as some servers will not accept too much data but it does work and it works well. I actually give it TEN STARS 100% and have no qualms in promoting this very wonderful app. I think I need a phone processor that could speed it up more though as large files are a long time in compression. BUY THE APP AS IT'S EXCELLENT!

excellent. only point I'd make is that, to compress a video that you've just captured, you need to open the VC app, and go back-back-back to "re-choose" the video file you've just captured, otherwise the "estimated compressed video sizes" can not be calculated. hope this makes sense.

I haven't tried other video compression apps, but I've been using this one for months so I'm a satified customer. Compression speed seems satisfactory and you're able to view your video before and after compression then share it to over dozen apps. I recommend it. The downside is the advertisements so I'm considering the paid version.

Good but after the second action, it misbehaves; it doesn't bring the 15% ofthe rest to be compressed. So work on it please. I like it. And it's too slow so I rated only 3 stars. But if you can make it faster or more than one video at a time, I will give 5 stars!

I like this app, so far I see two problems. First, there is no option where to safe video after compression is only share option. Second, there is no information, what size of video I'm sharing. In other words, I can see size of video before compression, but after compression I do not know size of video I'm sending. Contacted developer, but my suggestion where ignored. Waste of time and money. No choice, but uninstalled app, and installed better one: Video Compressor. More expensive, but better.

Broken. Will not perform compression since major v4 update. Select video, select size/comp level, it jumps to "completed" with only play or share button, just views the original video. No new file created, no compression, nothing. Had to restore app to v3.7.04 in order to get the app to work again, and v3.7.04 works just fine. App should go into compress mode with a note it's working in the background. Too bad, was a nice app, updates look good, but V4 is 100% broken on Pixel 2 Android 11.
