The piece of garbage had become more frustrating than I thought possible. It's stopped uploading videos of visitors. The best it can do is "ding dong" when someone presses the button. The issue is definitely a Digoo problem, like they've stopped supporting upload to the cloud. So, yep, this device is atrocious and Digoo techs are a bunch of asswholes.
The doorbell is great. Better built, louder speaker and fast connection better than Ring. BUT, app is horrible. It lags, glitchy, cannot connect and now it logged me out and giving me error about network. Hope they can fix this. Update 8-9-2019, App is trash. Can no longer use the doorbell because it doesnt let you log-in anymore. Kinda tired keep on contacting Digoo every 3 months. Horrible.
It just doesn't work. Not sure if it's the app, the cloud service or the doorbell itself. It never connects, never activates the app when the button pressed, won't run motion detect. A complete rip off from digoo.
The application doesn't allow to register (shows an error that network is unavailable, with a spelling error) so technically the door bell is useless. It's hard for me to understand why registration isn't optional especially that this doesn't seem to work. I feel that this is a scam and should be reported.
What the... Trying to update firmware but failed each time. What version you users have?... App version 1.0.9 and firmware 1.0.7 what is it trying to update to??? Very frustrating... Doorbell is great when it works. When not... Bloody useless
A very useless doorbell (DOGOO SB-XYA), an equally horrible app to match as well as a non functional customer service. I got my password mixed up after a change of phone. I was supposed to send a my email address to their customer service for reset a code to be sent to me. I have been waiting for a week and still no response. The only thing to do is to dump the doorbell and buy a more reliable one. This app is not even deserving of one star. I just had to give it.
Works great! Needs push notifications but otherwise its a great easy app to maneuver. 2-04-19 not working now. Says no network. But we had everything checked. Bought a wifi booster and will update my thoughts once i connect it tomorrow.
Does not connect and the message reads " Login Failed: no network, please check". Something very dodgy. My network is working fine. Except for this app. There is an email of the developer but no response.
****Update***** 2/10/19 So this app was never the best but it worked.... until now and I think I know why. It seems like this app relies on authors network to push notifications threw but why isn't it working now??? Well I work in import business and this week is Chinese New Year and in mainland China the least people have off is 1 week. Factories shut down for 2 weeks to sometimes a month. So im thinking this app will be fixed all issues resolved soon....I hope anyway
Well it works if you are on the same wifi ssid for video/voice. As soon as I switch phone to 4G only it rings but no video or voice - just spinning circle "Establishing secure video channel..."
now the clips are not uploading. just showing time when door bell was set. have factory reset . still not working as i used to . for the cost this door bell and after sales support is getting a lot worse.
Same as last recent June 2019 reviews. The videos will not upload any more. Also now today cannot get the app to open. The actual camera itself is good but the software is the problem
Great app works perfectly on S8 but Needs update so can select ALL to delete ALL at once not one at a time. Had a bit of messing around with it as got latest Sky BB router had to split 2.4 and 5GHz so app would work
Bought this doorbell a few years ago, just got internet. & the app keeps telling me there's an issue with network, and I'm simply trying to set it up.
Packing came all taped up. Product does not connect completely. Damage and want all of my refund. I will post on Facebook. The people need to know. I took pics of the package.
Stop work whenever it wants, it takes forever to reload. No notification, nothing. it's a piece of garbage.
Absolute rubbish, however for those who like to try it, make sure the wifi password is letters only or you will keep getting network problem error.
Useless. Doorbell is always offline. Works for a few days after set up then stops. Won't go back online.
app never seem to be able to get a secure video channel. does not do what it says on the box. not worth the money spent and we are very disappointed.
App is no longer working says no network please check but I have internet on my phone. No support offered by digoo I would not buy this door bell.. looks like it's going in the bin
The app is slow to respond when the door bell is rung. When answered the app takes a while for the videoto come on. Customer care is non existent. Good money spent for nothing. Maybe time for international lawyers to take this case up?
not good. worked for the first few days. now stopped working completely. digoo is throwaway stuff. wont recommend
USELESS! Will not connect to my home network, regardless of how many times I try. The Digoo XYA is a waste of time and money!
Probably the worst bit of tech I've bought, it's 2019... How can you not get something do simple to work properly. Do not buy!!
App doesn't pair doorbell with WiFi and is the only program for door bell. App NEEDs to be fixed and updated ASAp. I can't use my product waste of money
could be better. first off you must charge this device when you get it. you will have connection problems if you don't. It temporarily uses Bluetooth (which makes setup easy) during the setup to acquire the device ID. So make sure Bt and wifi are on. It will immediately want to update so be sure your close to router to avoid issues during that time. Image quality is good but frame rate is low. 2-3 frames per second. Live view has no option to record manually. No inside bell.
