Video for Android Wear&YouTube

I bought this a few years ago packaged with their other apps. They've always felt like the equivalent of something you'd buy at The Dollar Store but they definitely did what they said they could do and had a few unique features that made them worth installing. I got the new Ticwatch, tried to install this but it says it's not compatible. Absolutely ridiculous that it's not compatible with one of the major watches on the market.

Looks OK, it take to long to load the video and there is a lag between video and audio. Don't know if is cause by the application or the watch. I wish if they could add also the list created or at least the watch later. Please add the option to choose video on the phone and send it to the watch it will be a great feature. Any how it's a good product and I recommend it. Premium user on a Ticwatch pro

Hi. Brand new Suunto 7. Purchased the full version. In the start it showed about 5 clips that I could chose from. They ran with no problem. Now doesn't show any videos at all. Put it on search for about an hour, no result. Tried different key words. Uninstalled and installed again on the phone. This is not a rant, simply trying to describe my experience with it.

I downloaded (and bought) this app for my fossil gen 5. Works flawlessly. However, there's three problems that I'm sure can be fixed. 1. If you swipe right to search a new video while a video is playing, the app continues to load the current video. 2. This causes an endless loading loop when searching for a new video. You need to include a way to end the video manually. 3. Video and audio is not synchronized. Audio is a second or two ahead of video.

The app has functioned by playing a video, however the video is delayed, the audio is fine and the video is good, but with long load times and laggy interface it is hard to give a better review. I don't know what resolution the app is desplaying, as it is on a watch facebo don't think that it should be any more than 360p, as I said I don't know what resolution it is playing at as the settings do not allow for me to change that or even see that. If the audio and video are sorted then 3-4⭐

So far a horrible purchase. Paid so I could sync with my YouTube account. All it does is give a few videos to choose from and they won't play. I go to settings and channels to pick my subscriptions but it goes back to most popular. Tried searching and nothing comes up. Probably going to just chop it up as a loss and uninstall.

I am new to smart watches and have recently pruchased the Huawei Watch 2. This app is very flakey keeps dissapearing and rappearing. In stand alone mode it is very slow to load videos. Needs to have a volume control as volume is super loud on you tube compared to other apps. Takes about 5 minutes to get a video to load and play but often does crashes before video plays and you are left hearing the sound. Appears to be slightly better using phone bluetooth connection instead of wifi. Not sure if my phone is the limitation or the app.

I want my money back. I purchased the premium and then reopened the watch app and tried to customize it. The app kept crashing every time I would make a change. Not only can I customize it but the videos won't even load now. My watch is the Fossil Gen 5. I spent three dollars on something that doesn't work. I could have bought a coffee. EDIT: After factory resetting my watch, I reinstalled the app and it works. It is extremely slow and drains my battery faster than any app I have ever seen tho.

update: 06 Aug 2020 - not working on fossil q explorist... I paid for this app and it does not work can I get an update that will fix this? The app crashes and also doesn't load videos now at all. An option to fit the screen or go full screen might be a good addition. Right now it just crashes even after the update and / or the watch keeps searching for videos but none load. Mainly just crashes. Phone is a HTC One M9. Thanks

Has potential. Ie. Was able to play the limited videos in the preloaded list. But the app was not able to deliver any results from searches, so pointless really. Would have bought paid version just for the kick, but seems the app is not ready. I am using on the Fossil gen 5.

Could not get this to work at all, opened the app, installed on watch and searched for a video, Nothing, all I got was pay for premium service forced on me all the time and no evidence this even worked, I don't know if the whole experience is locked behind a pay wall but I am not paying to find out. Atlest get this working to a small degree eg. play a video and if they do somthing try to cast it or anything say this is a premium option please upgrade you might as well charge straight away

Brought brand new Ticwatch S2 to grinding halt. Nearly required factory reset to eradicate as watch became hot and non- responsive. Juiced 50% of battery in about 30 minutes. Verified it was this app by painstakingly reinstalling and having to encounter same issue. Worthless as is, unfortunately. Kind of reprehensible this is even allowed on the app store.

I was highly impressed that they have YouTube for wear OS. But it stops about there. The video and sound often play at different speeds and it is very hard to look anything up. I really hope they are able to fix bugs in the future.

The app doesn't allow me to search for video. When I search for a video it just loads... no matter how long I wait. Nothing ever pops up!! It just keeps loading. I even paid for the full version thinking that would help. Waste of money

Simply does not work.. I had this app on 2 watches over the past 2 years and I've given this app WAY more than a fair chance.....I just wanted it to work! Unfortunately over those 2 years I've only been able to get 2 or 3 videos to play (sort of) out of dozens of attempts! Today I finally uninstalled it permanently.....and sadly I paid for this app (different account) 😥

Doesn't open videos that I search for; only plays recommended videos. Also, the search button keeps disappearing on all of your apps, which is extremely annoying. Would much prefer if it was pinned at the top.

Kinda works. It takes a long time to load a video & the premium customizations would appear but never be applied, meaning you're probably stuck with just a search function & the trending tab. If this gets updated, it has a lot of potential considering there isn't a proper YT app on Wear OS yet. But, for now I'd recommend just sideloading Chrome onto your watch & watching YouTube that way if you really want it on your watch.

Not sure if this app is what did it, but I gave it access to my google account to let me use my channels and subs on the wear os version and I got an account recovery notice a few hours later. I did not put my google account into recovery and this was the last thing given access. May be a coincidence, may not be. Never got to use the app. Google showed it as suspicious in the security review due to being unverified.

wear OS watches just dont have the power to run this app...seldom loads at all on Ticwatch Pro. Tried to reinstall as devwloper suggested but the screen just went blank for 5 minutes and nothing happens at all. No problem with other apps...this just doesnt work. The rating stands.

Downloaded and tried to set up this app yesterday. As of now I have been completely unsuccessful at even being able to watch one video. Either nothing loads or you can't search for things none of the features seem to work. I'm using an s21 ultra with a Galaxy watch 4, so far this purchase is a complete waste of my money. Sought out a refund from the Google Play store and they would not refund my money, what a joke! I am so annoyed!!🤦

You used to work. Now after reinstalling the app i end up unable to sign in, the app is extremely slow, audio only or the video takes 5 minutes to show a picture. Absolutely terrible.

honestly it does what is says but it does it really bad and with a pay wall that isn't setup well. I would suggest giving a limited time trial of all features unlocked that way people will actually get to see its potential. Also I wish it was just integrated into YouTube Vanced and I could have audio playing, turn on the watch to see whats happening in a video podcast then lock my watch and go on doing what, id pay a lot for that. Or make YouTube app videos shareable to this app

Unfortunately I seem to have a similar experience as many others in this app simply not loading. I'm running it on a gen 5 fossil watch and searching anything results in an indefinitely long load. Videos simply don't play from the 5 suggestions. Disappointing.

I have the full access version on my OPPO WATCH 46MM everything is fine overall BUT damn it is heating a lot I deleted it instantly after 10 minutes of experience. Also even if I just stay in app and don't play any video it gets too hot in 2 minutes.

I HAD THE SAME EXPERIENCE AS EVERYONE ELSE UNTIL I PUT THE WATCH IN STANDALONE MODE AND THEN SIGNED IN ON THE SETTINGS OF THE VIDEO TUBE APP INTO MY GOOGLE ACCOUNT ASSOCIATED WITH MY YOUTUBE ACCOUNT THAT I USE, NOW IT WORKS PERFECT AS ADVERTISED. i put this in caps so it would catch your attention. I was getting really pissed off because i was dealing with the same thing everyone else is in the comments. Now it works great. Only 3 stars because they made it really difficult to figure out

Only shows two videos at a time and asks you to pay to see more. Doesn't show any channels either. Basically unusable on the stand alone mode.

SCAM! Thesend a follow-up after my complaint and act like they're Soooo willing to help. I sent their support two emails like they asked and never heard ANYTHING BACK!!!was charged $3.23 for this stupid app that has LITERALLY done NOTHING FOR ME!! You cannot charge someone for something u didn't give them. This "app" isn't even available to be put onto my watch. Only thing I can do is go into the app on my phone and buy the Xtra premium version for like $9. It does LITERALLY NOTHING ELSE!!!!
