This is the popular Deuces Wild video poker game with a strategy analysis engine built-in to help you train to become a better player. After each hand is dealt, the strategy engine calculates all possible outcomes to determine the best cards to hold to get the highest payoff. You can click 'Hint' to view the results or you can play without hints. If you did not hold the optimal cards, a popup message will inform you of the error and you will see which cards were optimal. Click 'Pay' to show a payout odds table of all possible hands. Statistics on the number of errors you make will be tracked as you improve your play.

Interesting
Two changes I would like to see. First is to get credit for choosing the correct strategy if you press the hint button. Right now if you hit the hint button you don't get credit even if you picked the correct strategy. Second is a way to see how my play measures up to the optimal play. A 2nd bank that would show you what you would have had if you chose the correct strategy every time.
I love playing this trainer and sharpening up my skills. The only real problem is that when I commit a strategy error, I get the pop-up for it, and the pop-up blocks the view of what cards were held. How am I supposed to see what my error is if the silly pop-up is blocking my error? When I tap "clear", new cards are automatically drawn, and the error is gone. Please move the error dialog. This is still happening even after the last update. (LG G3)
I like this trainer. Unfortunately, the app will randomly stop and I have to open the app again. That gets irritating.
I have to agree with another reviewer that the pop-up window comes up in the worst place and even though you can disable it and review pay, it would be much easier if the window could just pop up slightly higher and save the trouble.
The screen is squished & can't read winnings just a red line. Other words are chopped off on the bottom. Was enjoying until this happened now it's unplayable
Love thee game
I have to Uninstall and reinstall every time I run out of $$$. There used to be a menu option but it seems to have disappeared. Edit - to specify, I am using a Galaxy Note 4 and the menu option is selected by holding down the button on the bottom left of the phone. Once the app is uninstalled and reinstalled I can access the menu for the duration of my session, but the menu option does not work after the app is closed/reopened for another session.
As a trainer, its useless. The app will tell you that you made a mistake, but the pop-up covers the cards and the correct hold/discard choices. So all you know is that you made an error, but no idea what the correct choices were. Once you tap "continue" on the strategy error, the cards draw and you've no idea what you should have done instead.
Game doesn't work on Galaxy Note 4, doesn't seem to support Lollipop. I used to play this on a Galaxy S5 running KitKat when it worked fine.
I love this game. It is just like the game that I play on the boardwalk of New Jersey, with the exception of the ads at the bottom of the screen. They are not seen on the boardwalk machines.
I thought it was great and had good action.
Need more games
Most of the hints provided are completely wrong. If you are holding four to a natural royal you don't discard all of the cards. Not to mention one time pulling two pair 4s and queens and being told to hold the 4s. Two hands later pulling the same hand and being told to hold the queens. No useful strategy being taught here.
App is back to full speed. Great trainer!
I also do not care for the new long delay after pressing the DEAL button, [edit: next section is wrong...i thought it prevented but it doesn't. Double click deal button still fails...its just delayed.] but it does prevent one issue i always had with previous versions: accidental double-click of deal button which resulted in a "failed" selection (since interpreted as click of deal followed by draw). A half second delay would be tolerable where the two second delay isn't.
have to agree..since new upgrade over Thanksgiving its turned into a Turkey ..I'm ready to dump this app. unless its fixed back..used to play at a normal deal to draw speed..now you can take a nap between them was 5 stars before update
Awesome trainer. With a bunch of options and a great hint system. They have a few other VP games out there just like this one. Please add editable play tables and maybe some sound effects.
Great lil app. Strategy popups should be beneficial to beginners to experts
