Video Recovery - Protect, Backup & Restore Videos

I installed the app on Nov. 1st, 2019. I got email confirming that the free trial will expire on Nov. 4th, 2019. The app is terrible. It did not recover anything. I cancelled the subscription on Nov. 4th, before the end of the day and before the free trial expired. But Google had already charged my credit card for $259.99, a lot of money for a retiree on fixed income. I requested a refund but it was denied. I found a law firm investigating Google Play for deceptive and unfair practice .

This is totally scam. I need my money back. You have no right to charge my credit card without any heads up. Unbelievable! I got charge $259.99 just for downloading this nonsense app. I had no idea going to be charge by installing and deleting this useless app. Did not even have access to the videos and photos I was looking for. Someone needs to respond me and return my money back!

PLEASE GOD DO NOT INSTALL THIS APP! If you pay attention to any reviews please let it be this one. They will charge you even if you cancel the subscription during the free trial period.That's theft. I was charged $200 for no reason after I cancelled during the free trial period! I have been in contact with the Google Play "support team," but the developer "already withdrew the money," so I still don't have my refund. As a college student, I can't afford food now. Google doesn't care either.

Re: Hey !! I want to give a concern about that my money from card was deducted all of sudden after trial period ended in your subscription. Amount was 16,800/- First of all for such software who charges 16800/- per month. And they are deducted from my account mistakenly. As i have already cancelled my trial period for the app. Still the amount was deducted. I want my full money refund back. Please help in refunding my money asap.

I installed this app on 10/15/2019 at 12:36am as a 3 day trial. About an hour later my account was charged $199.99. So there was no trial period. I tried to contact the developer with no response. Google play's policy says Google will handle refunds less than 48 hours after purchase. When i ccontacted Google they told me they would report the issue but they cant help me because the problem is in the app itself. This seems to have happened to many people. Google needs to stand by their policy!!

Great app idea, but its unfortunate that it wouldn't let me do a free trial without charging my card. And then its saying $199.99 a month. I could understand a year but who wants to pay $200 or $2,400 a year for an app to recover videos. That's terrible business. I understand people might use and uninstall but damnnnn, not even 29.99 a month maybe but nooo you wanna charge $199.99 a month FOR WHAT. I'm so mad and I've only just had the app like 15 min.The developers are very unfair with price.

I didn't finish installing/setting it up. Days later the developer charges $219 (tax included). I didn't subscribe and I didn't even use it once. GooplePlay said to email developer for a refund. The developer hasn't replied. Maybe there's an explanation for the dev's silence? Maybe my refund if is pending? (No reply+no refund)=this app is a fraudulent scam. With so many bad reviews, for this very reason, I expect Google to do more to protect its customers from being cheated.

AVOID LIKE PLAGUE!!! The app basically has no functionality unless you subscribe to there product. The subscription cost $199 per MONTH with a 3-day trial. They specifically try to get people to download it subscribe and forget to unsubscribe. Shady app to say the least also does not work at recovering a lot of files, I know because I tried. One called Dumpster actilually worked for me

This app is a total scam! They charged me for the month if when I canceled it during trial period. I tried to contact their customer service many timea, but there was no response at all. Avoid this app at all costs!

I never even used this app and cancelled my free trial subscription within minutes of downloading it, Now I see I'm being charged $199.99 for it and the free trial expiration date is still 6 days away! I plan on getting my money back so help me God. This company seems to do this a lot. Dont get this app. They will scam you too!

Hi, I checked the trial version of this app and cancelled it and uninstalled as it was not the app I wanted. However, today I got a transaction notification of Rs, 16800 for this app. I believe the cancellation was not done properly.I have uninstalled and unsubscribed the app and never intend to use it. Please look into this and refund the amount deducted by this accidental purchase. Also please make sure the cancellation of subscription is successful this time and no amount will be deducte

Horrible experience! I tried to cancel my trial and wasn't successful. They took $199.99 from my debit card!! Filed a claim with them to no avail. I'm having to go through my bank to try and get my money back. Just found out the company is out of Singapore. Do NOT install!!!!

I haven't even got this app, clicked on it and installed it to see what it does and said 3 day trial, which tried it for 2 hours and un installed and today they have charged me $319 dollars... Major fraud... Now I have to go and dispute to get me money back. If I could give it a zero I would.why are dodgy apps like this even aloud on Google store.

Just going by the reviews, the only 5 star ones seen to originate from one region in the world which is notorious for calling people and scamming them into computer repairs through the phone. I read the one star experiences and there people actually gave their experiences. I'd be very leery with this app. They're charging $250.00 A MONTH! And someone had problems getting the developer to reply to him.

I would like to humble request you that the app "Video Recovery-Protect ,Backup & Restore Videos" free trail subscription has been made accidentaly by friend on 03 Nov 2019. He couldn't able to deactivate free trail subscription. Now subscription charges has been deducted from my account today. Kindly refund my amount Rs.16800/month to my card and cancel my subscription on this email address.

Wish they were faster with checking emails as i need the money that i apparently wasnt able to save by cancelling the subscription...i emailed the dev at around 8:30 am i think. $264.00...NOT worth it. I need this money TODAY...no later or im basically screwed. I tried cancelling it...but it wouldnt do anything so i just left it to get some sleep...i wake up 264 dollars are gone as of 1:37 am. Since when do subscriptions take money out at 1:37 am. I dont know if that seems suspicious.

In order to try the 3 day limited free version, you must pay for a subscription ($200/mo) immediately. You pay nothing (i.e. you get a refund) if you cancel within 3 days. No thank you!

When I installed & opened, I got a msg from my bank saying $199.99 was taken from my acct. This was within ONE MINUTE of installation. Joining others here fighting for refund. No free trial. It instantly TAKES $200 USD from your acct without authorization/confirmation I closed the app/canceled/uninstalled within minutes!!!!

I accidentally subscribed to the app. Knowing dat i hav subscribed i unistalled it. But didn't know that I should unsubscribe. Rs. 16400 cleaned up from my bank account by Google. Contacted google team for help and was guided to contact the app developer. Mailed him as advised but he didn't not show any courtesy to reply. Google and app developer in cahoots with each other. An organised loot without even asking for a last minute permission while debiting a bank account. Thank u google and app.

There is no menu or choices u just scan and nothing comes up n no further options then u sit there wondering if u really are the mouthbreather u feel like at the moment, but then years of evolutionary adaptations and Junior high trauma kick in and then it's "naw ah.. that stupid app is just.. stupid" n that's when u remember that nostrils r not just for mining and you uninstall and say No to the renewal fee of 2 HUNDRED DOLLARS A MONTH!!! idk what are the people talking about losing there money and all because I didn't pay at ALL. Although I have to still give it 1 star because IT JUST SHOWS YOU THE PICTURES THAT YOU STILL HAVE!! I wanted something that can get back I accidentally deleted sadly IT DIDN'T!!!

This app says free trial 3 days after that $19.99. I didn't even open it up or agree to its terms and I'm uninstalling it so before 3 days is up anybody you better come back and uninstall it otherwise they will charge you $19.99

I have uninstaled the app because it did not work. And this fraudulent company is continuosly trying to bill my card $207 not just once or twice but every single day gor the past 10 days and still going. Total scam!

This app is a scam. It doesn't recover any files that aren't already installed and the 3 day trial period cant be canceled until after the first payment of $200 for a month is paid! They scammed me. Dont download this app.

This does not retrieve files that were cut and pasted and then got corrupted. Could not find the missing file on my phone.

The app was NOT able to pull out one deleted video. It was able to pull out videos i still have and then didn't even download those videos right.

straight up garbage , oneof the worst apps ever , so messy and if you ever find the videos they won't let you restore unless you make a subscription

This company charged 199.99 without my permission randomly after I cancelled during the trial period the day I downloaded it. This is a scam, and I can't believe google play hasn't done something about this yet. Beware
