Not per frame. You have to play and pause and screenshot. It doesn't care even if it's blurred or what.

Used it to take a snapshot of a video I recorded. Worked perfect, fairly easy to cycle through each frame. Would suggest a button you can press to cycle through frames or seconds. No adds or watermark on the picture. Ther is ads in the app but so far no ads outside the app(if an app gives me an add in the notification bar instant delete)
