Video & TV Cast + LG Smart TV

BEWARE!!! Total junk!!! Waste of $4.99 !!!! Does not allow you to play what is on the phone screen unless the website has a specific coded video link. This does NOT work line Chromecast. They make it sound like you can stream anything that you view on your phone from within the app on the TV but you can't. It only offers some of the items shown. Pure waste of time and money.

Very disappointed with this app! Downloaded to cast my phone to my LG TV! As it says in the description. The app actually doesn't do anything, says if you wanna mirror you have to pay another £3.99!!!!! But surely that is what the app is in the first place!! Please can you add mirror casting or I want my £3.99 back please! Very annoyed and disappointed!!!!

Either the instructions after setup are beyond my intelligence or this app won't work for Fitbit videos which is the only thing I need it to cast. Especially since free YouTube works perfectly from my android to my screen using Amazon fire stick or Roku or my smart TV input. I have sent an email to this apps support. If they can't explain or fix this, I will want expect a refund.

Had to pay extra $4.99 for screen cast on this app that, was free up until three, four, weeks ago! $10.00 to mirror my phone, and laptop, to my LG smart tv! I will never ever buy anything LG again!!! I would not have given this app one star if it wasn't for the fact that, I could not leave this rating!

Very unhappy, paid for an app that does not work at all!! I want my money back! Then to screen mirror i have to pay another 8.99, not happy at all!

This application doesn't work properly. I was not be able to connect the content as its described. Pls refund my money. Just a waste of time.

DO NOT PURCHASE. Get a Roku or an HDMI cable and attach your laptop to your tv. If you think this app is a solution to whatever you are trying to stream on your tv you will be out $5 (price at time of purchase) and your time. I've spent hours trying to get it to work and it won't properly stream from my phone. After purchasing the app tries to get you to purchase ADDITIONAL features to actually work. Absolute trash and embarrassing that this hasn't been removed from the app store.

Bought this app thinking I would be able to use it to put my phone screen up on the TV like it said it does to be able to do more than just show pictures and it wanted me to pay for another app to be able to do that. I live on a budget and don't have money to go wasting on apps that promise to let me play a movie or video from my phone to my smart TV. If I could give this app a half a star I would. Definitely misleading.

It's a scam. You'll need to pay another 3.99 to mirror your screen.

Not intuitive or easy to use. Every time I want to cast something from my phone I have to re-learn it. There was a YouTube live stream occurring at a particular time so I thought I'd prep ahead, was still figuring out how to paste the URL link after the stream had started. I opted for laptop and HDMI cable instead. How difficult can it be to make it easier to use?

The app categorically does not work on numerous LG TV's I have tried to cast to. Can you please refund my money?

An extreme RIP OFF!!!!!! Paid for this one had to download another and pay for that and still doesn't work. I am now angry 😠 😡

Does not work. Dont pay for this. They want another $7 after this instillation for an actual casting app that has the same reviews of not functioning

Upgraded the app to premium to get rid of the ads. Now I can't use this app where ads just popup in random when you try to stream the content. The other casting apps works well when I use the same websites. It is just this app that is throwing me ads while streaming from the websites. Im only using this app to play m3u8. I wonder if the developer is playing now by flooding the premium users with ads. I've contacted the developer and was told to wait for the app update. Nothing yet. One star !

Does not work with the LG Smart TV. I bought it to connect to my tv and the corresponding app on my tv prompted me to download the phone app too but it doesn't work for some reason. The app connects to the TV but won't open the functions or do anything on my tv. All in all great idea but bad execution.

Reducing rank to 1. ------------------------ It's almost one year i am using this app but still multiple audio selection feature is not implement. I like to highlight one more issue about the player. It's subtitles. Why subtitles enable or disable feature is not there. I giess its very common and useful feature.

Technically works, but simply allows you to stream video files stored on your phone or cast videos only via inbuilt web browser. Screen mirroring is a separate, additional app at additional cost. Not terrible technically but a clunky, vastly overpriced app for something that is technically simple to pull off.

First off, fraudulent app. They say there's no ads but to actually cast your screen from your phone you have to pay more money for another app. This app won't play videos from your phone unless they're a specific file type either. Basically I just threw money down a hole. I'm really hoping LG isn't behind this app but considering it's actual in their TV I'm pretty sure they're linked somehow. Buyer beware!

First thing it does is direct you to buy an additional app to share screen. (Which is what I bought this app for.) Edit: Funny response from the developers. I didn't ask that the app be free. Just thought it strange that after installing a free app, which did nothing, the only thing I could do was upgrade to a paid app. Plus, the paid app didn't work with my LG TV. Don't mind paying for useful things.

Worst app ever. Demanding refund. After scanning the QR code from the LG tv, I was taken to the app download. I read the reviews saying the app was useless, but decided to go ahead thinking I was tech savvy enough to work it out. Between the TV and the app, both wouldn't sync and the app provided nothing at all to step through the guide. Shameless cash grab by LG, where the developer has no idea how integration process flow should work. Will not buy LG products again.

It works but... Every time I go to stream content, it defaults to the linking phone to tv routine. The controls are confusing... For example: press the back button or OK for full screen... On an LGTV the back button brings up the home menu of apps and OK is LOCKED to the IP address boxes, so doesn't work. Just let us link our tv and once done, focus on the streamed content instead of the instructions box filling 2/3 of the screen. I sort of wish I had not bought it, as it takes too long to use.

One of the worst app experiences ever. I ended paying for two apps (9.98) to mirror cast my phone when I can do it for free with a Samsung TV. I will never go with an LG brand product again. Thankfully I am able to get a refund. I will go get a roku stick so I can use this "Smart TV", what a disappointment!!!

I'm not sure about this app. I'm not receiving any sound when I playback my own videos via the stream weblink. However, if I playback one of the featured YouTube videos there's sound - I'm awaiting a response from the help centre. It's also unlike the Chromecast assisted streams a long winded process. There was an option to receive a refund earlier as I bought the app earlier today. It has now disappeared. I would like a refund as I've only had the app a few hoursl

Seems like this app is still in the testing stage. We can't cast the videos from web through this app. I was very angry initially for purchasing this app. I felt I was deceived but when I came back to uninstall it then I found the refund option which is a good thing. It's better to remove the payment option and fix this app first then they can start charging for their services.

Tested it with the free version for a while, works great for ALMOST every application. Some sites are flooded with pop-ups that the app browser can't handle. For everything else, it's easy and works very well.

I was trying to cast to my LG Smart TV from Pureflix. The app finally found my movie choice but then it had no sound. I thought this app would cast my Purflix App to the tv like Chromecast did but it was a limited and horrible experience. A waste of 20 - 30 min of trying.

I simply cannot get to the genre that I'm looking for it's always buffering. Might want to consider another service or get a refund or send upgrades. I never see them in my app section to upgrade..

Truly pathetic. Does not support the formats commonly used. Did not define its limitation upfront.

After i purchased ,PRo version is not streaming the video, but basic version does good. Kindly fix the issue. ********* I am able to fix it after disabling the "Diagnostic & Usage" option in settings.
