VidTrim Pro - Video Editor

Great easy to use video trimming app. No problems on my google phone at all. It has been seamless with the phone's defaults. I have not had any issues with it crashing or not working so far. I like the ability to trim from the front and back, and I use the sound remover tool a lot too. I even import other video to my phone in order to quickly trim it. I don't regret buying the pro (ad free) version!

Thought the app was bad, only to find out the video I was using was to long. Turned out to be a top of the line video processor. Dubs music over video, merges several videos at a time and cut and edits in a good time range, making the scene transitions smoothe. $2.99 stops all ads and sure is a blessing the way it operates. To bad instructions aren't with it, but if a lo tec old man like me can figure it out, no doubt a brain can😎😎

I don't know if you call it luck or a blessing but one of the first trimming apps I ever tried was this one. It may not have all the complicating editing features, but if you're looking for a good quality basic video trimmer, this app I recommend. And that's not it! First I used this app for trimming but now it's my main app choice for mp3 conversation. Video Trim Pro is one of a kind and definitely, definitely worth the low price.

Excellent app that is improving. Very capable for trimming, converting videos to mp3, and capturing screenshots. Trim the whole original file or create new files with just the segments you desire. I have noticed that with transcoding to mp4, sometimes this does not work with other Android video editing apps such as the excellent Kinemaster. Highly recommended.

pretty good app.. the only issue I run into with it is with the trimming function. sometimes its impossible to cut exactly where you want to cut it and you end up with too much trimmed out or choppy starts to video clips.... it can end up making things a bit sloppy if you're trying to merge them together too... other than that it's a good app.

I enjoy VidTrim Pro. It works much better than a lot of apps out there that I have tried in the past. It could be tweaked a little bit for more functionality. Hold on by this I don't mean that it's not a great app and it works like a charm and the finished video looks great. I enjoy using the app very much. I hope you enjoy it just as much as I have.

One of the best apps I use. I upgraded almost immediately about 3 years ago. I use it primarily to downsize and share. Sometimes to combine, trim and special effects. Would be nice if I could merge in photos with video. I use other programs for that purpose.

Great app. But outputs, even when re-encoded, are not always compatible with other apps if you want to send videos to others. Can sometimes result in unexpected quality renders when viewed in 3rd party apps. I think the app needs a bit more development and testing, especially for a paid app.

Update edit 3/16/21: still breaks merging videos. Still flips videos upside down. Still distorts syncing sounds... so basically nothing fixed and 2 years later. Not sure why I paid for this. Original review in 2019: Badly needa a fix/update . Trimming is choppy, ruins or deletes videos (including originals) , unsyncs sound, merging fails, flips videos upside down.... Terrible. It's a paid version. Fix it.

Good app but find it hard to trim a video because the scroller is hard to control. Would like the function of manually adding time stamps by selecting numbers which would make trimming easier. If implemented would change review to 5 stars

pretty good on chromebook (hd screen), PROs: + The trim UI works well. + Good Dropbox integration + Fast CONs: - I find it confusing that videos from various path a mixed together. I would prefer if the UI was more like a file manager and allow me to navigate in the filesystem - I didn't find a way to change the destination folder - The embedded player shows my mp4 video as "not supported" but it's able to trim the video anyway...very anoying... it's worth the 4$

Does the job if your life doesn't revolve around paying videos online .. It doesn't have the bells and whistles of some of the other video editors, but it also doesn't have a ridiculously high "subscription" to use the full/pro version.

I paid for the pro app after my videos wouldn't merge thinking it was just because I needed to buy it, I was wrong. The videos still won't merge together in assuming it's too big and that's the problem but I've merged much larger videos before so I don't see why it won't work now, definitely wouldn't recommend.

Great for trimming and merging videos. also doesnt increase mb size for no reason at all. Wish there was a way to be more precise with the timing. Great frame grabber feature just wish there was a back frame feature or beteer jump too.

Cannot Use Merge Video Clips. App will not let me add additional clips, only the first one. Kind of defeats the purpose of combining videos if I can only put one in the list. Doesn't matter what type of video.

I loved the free version of this app and paid upgrade to Pro. It was amazing until about a year ago when suddenly it stopped working when you go to trim a video, which is the original and basic purpose of this app. I paid my money for what now?

This app used to be amazing, and I cant even express how much it helped me and how much I loved it. But I am having an issue! Nothing is working. Everyone I try to do something, it says operation failed. I've tried to find the errors, but nothing worked. I even tried restarting the app, and then my whole phone. nothing is working. If you could give me advice on how to fix this, I would be more than glad to rate it 5 starts. But at the moment, I'm giving it what it's giving me.

Never had any problems with the free app and as soon as I pay for it now it's damaged my phone and my screen is all messed up. My phone overheated from taking so long to edit videos. Now I'm going to have to purchase a new phone all because I decided to pay whatever for the Pro app.

I used to like this application, which is why I bought it... but eventually it turned into complete garbage over the past year to this day for some reason. Some videos won't work in the app (files that I usually use on a regular basis even) and trimming is now SUPER bugged out. I found another application to use for video editing.

Even after several years of updates the app still fails when trying to play a MP4 video before editing. This is a pretty standard video format. Its annoying having to preview videos outside of the app, then open the app to begin editing.

Amazing amount of power in terms of editing, trimming, splicing, converting, transcoding etc. I do all my video work via my phone rather than via my laptop, solely due to this app. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Great little video cutter, fast and simple. Some form of 'zoom to frame level (or close to it) ' once you've found the rough cut point would be great. And worth an extra star ; )

Fix the paid version!!! It still breaks merging videos and flip them upside-down (even 3 small ones, not talking about big size videos). What's the point of buying a pro version if it works absolutely the same as base one

Recent Bug: If I trim a video with more than 30 seconds, then the trimmed video gets stuck and not playing the content. For example, consider, I trimmed from 2.00 sec to 2.45 sec from the original video, then the trimmed video plays only the last 10-15 sec.. So as a workound, I trim from 1.25 sec to 2.45 so that I get the content from 2.00 sec as the first 30 sec goes in 1.25 to 1.55 sec.. I thought I am using the older version of app but I use the latest update only.. Fixing this will get 5 star

When you trim a video, and save as the original it is no longer visible in the gallery and can no longer be played. Destroyed my videos.

The Frame Grabber does not work at all. I don't understand why it's even called vidtrim as I have no choice in how my video is tried or what frame I'd like. I wish I could attach an image as an example of how terrible the application is.

Originally a 3 star review but now changed to 1. The merge function and the trim function are ridiculously buggy! I have to redo the trim or merge twenty or more times sometimes to get a usable file. No rhyme or reason to it - just buggy.

The free version works for very short clips merged together. The pro version only merges audio on my Android 8.1 (while the file says .mp4) A TOTAL waste of money!!!
