Great idea marred by terrible execution. Can't exit the app without going into the viewer settings and manually closing the app using the home or open apps buttons. The exit button doesn't work. Also at least half the time starting up the app won't recognize the AR device, requiring you to get out of the app and get back in. Additionally, when it tells you to put your phone into the goggles it often will not switch to the VR screen with the white line to line up the phone. Once I go through a 10 minute process to get the app working with my daughter whining the whole time because it's not working, it will eventually work.

Buggy and wont even get past the set up screen. Reinstalled restarted and still no joy. Samsung S9+

I have the galaxy s4 and I bought each of my kids one. The Dinosaur, space, and the animals. I have had no problems. You must have WiFi synced to download the app. My kids love it. It is very neat and you can't beat the prices on amazon. Only thing is phones do get hot. Before I switch screens I open the view master to let it cool down for a few minutes.

Everyone saying it doesn't work.it does..even if you don't have the view master goggles. .you need a pair with the magnet buttons..when the game loads..it will be black and flashy. Click on the option to set up goggles. Get another phone or tablet and Google cardboard qr codes..you must have Google cardboard on your phone. I used the large Eva vr qr code.scan it from images to find one that works for your phone. You might have to play around with it.

It doesn't work! I downloaded the cardboard app, set it all up correctly for my viewer, and nothing! I just get a black screen. Sometimes I can get to the part where I'm supposed to hover over a reel, but it never recognizes the reel. My son is so disappointed. Never getting this brand again.

I'm trying this on my s6 edge. It downloaded fine. When I start it up, it looks good for about 3 seconds. Then the screen goes black and a message appears: "remove device from headset." This is before I've placed it in the headset. Then it freezes. I have to close out the app to exit that screen. I've tried restarting several times with always the same result.

Wish I could give zero stars. I bought the wildlife experience pack and was excited for my kid. However, I have tried over a million times (exaggerating, of course, but it fells like that) hoping the app would work. There is black screen with music and sometimes without but always black screen. I cannot believe the makers are still allowing this to continue with all the bad reviews. I was hoping I was the lucky one. Returning the pack back!

Mattel, very poor QA. shame on you. Every other VR game or experience I've downloaded has been fine except this App. Downloaded this to my HTC One M7. Don't bother to tell it you have Reels. When I did the App took over 5 minutes to load after getting past the menu screen. Seriously. No exaggeration. I thought it crashed the first 2 times I launched it because it was a black screen (the Setup button was working but nothing else during that time). I left it on while trying to find info on their website, where there is NO Customer Service contact by the way. Then I noticed a light in the viewer asking to point at a Reel. Next tried the NO Reel option (the Reel's AR "interface" was lame anyway). The App takes only about a minute to load this time. When I got it got past the crazy long load, and we got to "play" in one of the eco environments it worked as expected. As an educational experience it's only Meh. Google's Arctic demo was much more engaging. My kids gave up on this after about a minute and went back to playing Minecraft.

Would give zero stars if I could! Even after downloading the stupid cardboard app, this will not work; all we get is the intro which goes to a black screen with a white line and background music. Despite any and all efforts to make it run, this app does not. Very disappointing and frustrating!

App will not load, crashes to black screen. Unfortunate, my toddlers were very excited.

Doesn't work. After prompting me to put my phone in the viewmaster viewer and clicking the lever, screen just turns black. I bought the reels too.

This app does not work with my reels. It goes to a black screen and never views the reels through my camera. My other 3 sets work just fine. Please fix this app because it is the one I want to play!

Rarely works. You spend all this money on the goggles and reels and 9 times out of 10 it won't work.

One of the most frustrating and lame things I've ever used. The Viewmaster cardboard viewer and accompanying apps...should be avoided.

It won't work. It just let me press play demo and it started blinking I am really mad at this

It's awesome. It works perfectly fine. You just need to point you camera at one of the yellow squares and wait till it says 5,4,3,2,1

The worst.... apps don't work, device doesn't work. Wasted an hour with a screaming kid because this stuff doesn't work. Doesn't recognize any of the wheels on any surface under any lighting conditions and app keeps crashing.

It doesn't load. It seems like it just needs a few bugs worked out but it's a very frustrating experience when we already have all the wheels and and it just won't load. Please fix this quickly.

Doesn't work. Just get a black screen as many others report. I have the goggles, s6 phone and carboard downloaded. All other apps and reels I have work fine. This one does not. Returning product and Uninstalling app.

Bugs all the time, cannot see reels, cannot use it without a lever

Bought the reels, got this app. Worked about 3-4x and now it's useless. Mattel hasn't replied at all.

When I first bought all the stuff (viewmaster to put phone in, reel kits, etc.) It used to work. It's been awhile since my kids wanted to view. Now, this app doesn't even work. I have the space one and it works. What's going on??
