ViewBug - Photography

I started using viewbug on their website and I love it!!! Then I decided to get the app for my phone. The app does not work well, is hard to navigate, and I end up still going to the browser to go to viewbug anyway. Bummer. I hope they give this app a complete makeover to be more user friendly and convenient.

The previous app, at least for Android version was way better. In this new one, can't click on the notifications and can't switch between tabs or buttons on the app. It needs to be revamped again, because doesn't work well at all.

To be honest found my self not able to use the app and yes uninstall and reinstall it and still to find the problem of not able to use any of the buttons at all and really want to upload photos but can't do any of that at all .. But on the iPhone there no problems like this but on Android there so many bugs and software problems that viewbug can't be Bothered to sort out it basically leaving us Android users with a app that not getting Proper updates to fully sort out this problems

The app interface was fine before now the interface, I cannot use any of the icons, non of them work, I cannot see any of my notifications, cannot add photographs either anymore. Very disappointed

Terrible optimization. I assume they're trying to save the data required for them to run the app. It just doesn't give us access to anything that has happened more than a few months ago. I can't even see any of the awards I've been given on my photos because they're from too long ago for the app to remember. I guess I'm gonna have to stick with the browser.

I like the idea of the app. It's not bad, was completed at first but you get to understand it as you explore. I would recommend this app to beginners in photography career. I love that you can rate other photos and share them and leave a comment, it's would really help to boost a beginners confidence and help to improve their editing skills.

2/5/22 Been a member for a while on the free version, which so far has yet to really yield any benefit. Constant bombardment begging you to buy a premium membership. Can't submit much on free, very limited contest access and limited uploads. Kinda seems like a scheme, someone is reaping benefits but I doubt it's the photographers. With premium you can submit more pics to more contests and, for what? 3/31 I deleted my account over a month ago, still receive spam emails from vb about premium.

The idea is here, but the main desktop cant access your images. There should be a place to click "my images" to see, edit and or delete images. The site can use major help! Mobile cant edit or delete images if you accidentally post more than 1 same image. Asks for permission to contacts when there is no need to! I have other apps & sites that work better for photography. Imho, not worth paying for! IG is free.

This is the worst version yet of this app. Nothing seems to work on it. Its nothing like the website, there is no way to get to messages. I would suggest scrapping it and starting from scratch.

Every button on the bottom of the app is broken... they do nothing. This has persisted through several updates. The only way I can access uoads, my inbox, my account, and more is to view it in a browser. I used to have fun with this app, but its issues have made me step away and use it much less.

Was told to update to latest version. It didn't fix anything. Still can't upload, check notifications. Look at my uploads, nothing. Absolutely horrible that I will lose all of my pictures and work because I will be deleting this app. Still can not use this app at all.

The update is no good as when you try to click the button at the bottom they don't do anything, the app was fine as it was ages ago when your profile was showing on the main page at the top

I tried this and paid membership for 2 years and have been a member for longer, I don't see the purpose or benefit that it can give as a photographer. The owner is the only one benefited and making money.

I don't like the update, it doesn't work well on my oppo find X3 pro. I can't use many of the functions as the button are none responsive-Home, Find and Notification buttons do nothing and I can't find how to access my account details.

Frustrating app. Good concept but doesn't let you join contests keeps saying error. Too many flaws to be a usable app

It doesn't let me upload anything? It says share at the bottom, but when putting down the information about your shot it won't let you post it??

Well done. Updated app won't work at all, go to upload photos and when you press done or skip in the filter section, boom kicked out and bye bye. Awesome update. Thanks. So glad I pay a subscription for this.

After the last update I can't vote on any photos.Please fix the bug on the application. And the application continues to shut off everytime I try to view my notifications or view my profile.

I only use VB for several months and until last week I only used an app. Due to technical issues I visited their website and discovered that many features from web is not available in an app. Most importantly, I can't see all my photos in an app. Originally I thought they didn't upload...The voting system is completely different as well. I've been shown the same photo 4 times in a space of a minute or so. Start wondering if this whole thing is genuine.

Hardly any of the features work (so far I found only chalanges to be working), interface elements are rendered improperly. Basicaly, it does not do what it is suppose to do, thus is useless in current state. Update. With upgade to Android 12, most things seem to be working. Unfotunately, voting still doesn't work, which is arguably one of the core functions.

this is an awesome app!! It's fun and challenging by entering contests!! It's also a great place to display your photos and seeing what people think of them! It's also inspirational to see what pictures there are and to try to improve your skills!! Keep up the awesome job ViewBug!!! Love all the important emails received by the team and Viewbug. It is fantastic to be kept up to date on current and upcoming contests. Keep up the good work Team Viewbug!!!

It's a decent app. But unfortunately, when I go to upload photos, there are issues. 1. It shouldn't take 10-15 minutes for my photos to load on the screen. 2. When photos do appear on the screen to select which one I want to upload, it's not showing all the photos, only a select handful that are years old. This makes uploading time consuming and frustrating.
