Bug fixes. Right. The app was working fine before it updated, now it constantly wants a restart. It's telling me my device is the problem. That it can't run the content, what is that supposed to mean. Please, fix it properly. I beg you. It's bad enough you can no longer get it for a smart tv because of that ridiculous Roku deal, but now my device is denying me
Very much appreciate your work . recently there are too many ads ( like 3 continuos ones without skip option - total time 1:30 ) , these ads are placed at interval of 10 mins and if you switch between apps and play again the ads start playing irrespective of the time gap. Honestly with this - find it very difficult to watch and even though the series are good but can't enjoy it. Also please reduce the subscription charges for a year 4200 is very high - here i could purchase 3 OTT for a year .
This app used to work great with Chromecast and would run smoothly. However, it is now plagued with buffering issues (restarting internet, clear cache, and reinstalling doesn't help), making a very disruptive viewing experience. Before this, the subtitles were out of sync for months as well and only got fixed recently. Between all of these technical issues, it is hard to recommend. I was even a viki plus subscriber before, but I can't keep giving money to such a buggy app.
At first it was fine but then suddenly out of nowhere the subtitles turned off and no matter how many times i try, it won't fudge . It says the subtitles are on but they are not coming ,but if I check in other languages it is coming perfectly fine but i don't have any idea what happened to the English subtitles. But besides that this is a reaalllly good app i highly recommend this app ,just that if you ppl fix this problem of mine it would really be great <3
I really love this app, it's been years with it, but I am definitely not loving the updated menu or navigation interface, it is confusing and does not feel complete in information matters about every series shows or movies. Looks mixed up everything everywhere definitely more challenging to look for things. Its like you tried to make it look like Netflix in matters of that type.
It is really an amazing app. We can watch all the dramas in a good video quality and low mb in this app only. I love the features in the app about the rating, summary of the story and the cast details and the series regarding the content of the topics. And I also recommend few more dramas are also should be added. Recently, the eng sub was absent in some series. The app gets stuck sometimes. Lot of interrepting ads some may take 3 to 5 mins.
Chromecast has been basically completely broken lately. As a service, Viki is fantastic. As an app, this is only functional if you want to view on your device. Edit: originally reviewed in May. As of near end of August, app still broken when trying to cast Edit: this issue still happens but I found the solution. Clear your data/uninstall and reinstall and sign in again. Not exactly user friendly but it works
Seriously? On mobile it is 3 ads every 30 minutes and 15-30 seconds EACH! Unskippable. I am bearing it for the English captions and access to queendom 2 episodes but it really is not a fun experience. Not to mention the countless times where my ads don't load fully and when i restart the app it replays ALL three ads. Multiple times. Someone please recommend another place to watch queendom 2 thank you 🙏🙏
This is honestly one of the best apps for kdrama, jdrama and Cdramas! But the reason there's only two stars is that, there are just so many ads! it's so annoying! I know the ads help you, but please consider the opinions of the user too! There are three ads at once and without any option for skipping, it's like that every 5-10 minutes.. please give us a skip option or please reduce the ads..
I really like it at first and i really enjoyed watching on it but there's too many ads in this update and i hate it. I'll get bored of the episode if there was too many ads. Plus there's a lot of dramas that needs money to watch in the past it wasn't like that, like if i wenf and watch in a website on google it will be easier and more fun! Plus sometimes the voice of the ad comes without the ad itself idk why but i find it really annoying.
This is a really useful and amazing app, it has MANY shows that you can't watch anywhere else (except some might be on netflix) so this app is perfect, BUT it has 2 flaws. 1st flaw is that it doesn't have all the shows that u really want to see(but it has many) and it's understandable cause I don't expect it to have all the shows in the world. 2nd flaw is ADs, there are MANYYYY ads and honestly I don't mind there being three small ads clumped together but I mind it when there is 2 Huge 1min ads.
Love the app, my only problem is the ads. I'm fine with having three ads every once in a while but not wen they don't load. It's not a wifi or internet problem with me, the ads take a minute plus to load, with constant pausing intervals. But whilr I'm watching a show, there's no problems. Please fix this!
I'm watching viki from a long time but I never had this kind of problem. Actually I was watching a drama and paused it to do some works but after that when I was about to turn on the video the pause button is not working. I am having this issue from one day. I tried my level best to restart the video but it is not working. I have even submitted the problem but they are not doing anything. I even reinstalled the app but still it is not recovering. Please do something as soon as possible
I am using Viki from 2 years and i absolutely love it. But there was an issue which didn't occur in the past 2 years. I could not watch my dramas and the screen was saying that I have been using a proxy / vpn although I don't use them. Please fix this issue as soon as possible. Other than this error the app is amazing!!
I have been using Viki from a very long time and it was the best Korean drama app I have ever used...But now there is something which is bothering me soo much. I can't watch any drama and the screen is saying that I don't have any network connection which is so frustrating because all the other apps are working well and I'm not having any issues with other apps regarding network connection. Soo plzzz do something for it soon.
Most of the time this app is amazing. But recently I haven't been able to pull up the app on my TV , it acts as though it is loading then kicks me out to my home screen. This is the first issue with the app and it's frustrating. Overall would recommend to anyone that love to watch dramas.
Each and every video buffers everytime I try to watch a movie or series...i tried refreshing... even I uninstalled and thn again installed...still the same problem continues ...it totally spoils the mood and excitement ....might have enjoyed the app if it wasn't for this annoying issue....hope it will be fixed soon
it's lagging behind like the video and audio are not in sync, and my device hangs everytime I open this app... but the subtitles and movie quality is excellent! just need to get the system problem sorted- I hope that too will get fixed thank you~
I subscribed for the premium option that allows you to download videos. I was able to download just fine but there is no way to play the downloaded video when there is no data which renders this feature and premium subscription entirely useless
A lot of bug.. I can watch Netflix well but when open this app it's keep crashing.. lot's of Chinese drama unavailable.. before update, I can still watch with vpn now it's ask me to turn off.. but still can't watch.. so disappointing.. the only reason I choose viki before because it have a lot of drama that I want to watch.. but now most of it unavailable.. not recommended.. FYI, i did all that but still not recover even before you reply to me..
Yes it has more kdramas than Netflix. But, it has too many ads, it completely stops when loading in a new ad, and progress doesn't save which results in more ad watching. Please fix this.
I dont know if its a new update or what, but god forbid you get a phone call or text it while you are watching a show it will restart the commercials over and over again. If you answer the phone it will trow you into the main menu maybe this is better on the actual website. I dont mind the commercial its the restarting and restarting everytime i answer a text. Ill try that the web browser
I am not happy with the new tv update, No options given with the new tv updates to find shows or drama from different regions. I have to go to my phone app and look for what i want. The old version is much better than what we have now. Its been over a month now with the new tv update version and there is still no change, i wish i knew before i renew my membership. I might have to cancel my membership if there is no charge. I can't be paying for something that i am not enjoying.
The app is good.. but the thing is.. I'm seeing an error of "YOU SEEM TO BE USING ANY PROXY OR VPN" if though I'm not using it.. my mobile network settings is already set to automatic.. even then I'm seeing that error.. it's so frustrating.. i even restarted my phone.. i even reinstalled the app.. and created new ID on it.. then also I'm seeing that frustrating message
It's a very nice app but I am facing the problem with subtitles. Sometimes they didn't appear. I thought the app is not updated but that was not the problem. Please solve this asap. Thanks
I think this app is the best though it contains many advertise because it doesn't consume much data for advertise also it doesn't display much because I had experience it .skip option is available for advertisement more than 10 second
I would give 5 stars, due to the excellent content, but since I cannot watch anything, due to constant adverts, it is disappointing. Thank you for responding and I appreciate that money has to be earned by adverts, but what I refer to, are adverts that cut into the program, not once but twice etc, so the effect is watching more adverts than the actual program. So, do not mind ads at the beginning and mostly one can cut in before they for they finish. I cannot subscribe right now, anyway.
